What is the role of reginal champion and how is it different for he group champion
Hello everyone,We are at the beginning of our journey into Promapp. We still have so much too learn. I'd like to know the best practices to identify in the flow automated activities. In other words, what needs to be done to have a clear distinction between activities conducted by roles within the organization, and the ones automatically carried out within our business systems. Thanks in advance for your support.Aïcha
How is it best to go about specifiying a role location for activities in a process? For example, a Business Analyst in Canada performs activity A, then a Business Analyst in France performs activity B, and so on.The role name is Business Analyst, should there be a responsibility for each of the locations? Should the location only be specified as a note? Should a role be created for each location (e.g. Business Analyst - Canada”, “Business Analyst - France”)?
With the new variation management (PVM), is there a way to revert a process with 2 variations to a single original process? There used to be a “revert to standard” button which is gone
We have processes where there are legitimately two experts. I do not believe this is possible now, but can it please be added as an enhancement? It is not just that we want multiple staff to be able to edit the process, which can be achieved by Process Editor, but to identify more than one SME.
Process Manager – Process Modeling Customer Beta We're excited to advise that later this week Process Manager customers will now be able to build and manage BPMN 2.0 compliant process models within Nintex Process Manager. Initially available as a “beta” feature to existing Process Manager customers, Process Modeling will enable teams to build more dynamic process documentation using BPMN within Process Manager and alongside their existing documented processes. Nintex Process Manager (formerly Promapp) has been the preferred central process repository for line of business teams, especially those with centers of excellence and dedicated to continual improvement. Process Manager will continue to provide these teams with an easy-to-use text-based process documentation capability, that delivers the straightforward, consistent, and easy-to-understand process maps they require. With the introduction of Process Modeling and BPMN, we expect that IT and Operations teams will want to start leve
Hi,I’ve added an idea to bring the Undo buttons to other screens, not just the Procedure tab, so that any changes can easily be undone. For example, where a trigger or input/output is changed and there is a need to revert the change. If you think this would be a useful improvement, feel free to give it a vote via this link Add undo button to all of the edit screens (not just | Nintex IdeasEddie.
Hello,In terms of the %of process views measurement in the central dashboard (or Company dashboard - as opposed to “My Dashboard”), is there any known ‘ideal’ parameter to measure this against? For instance, if processes for a particular department are showing say 50% or 75% or 100% views in relation to the previous month, how can this number be interpreted? i.e. For a department of 25 staff and say 30 published processes, if those were actually viewed 5 times this month and in the next one we get 100% in the above ratio, perhaps that is not a good outcome in terms of engagement?I guess my other question is what would be a good baseline or indicator of an acceptable level of engagement? (process views wise)Hope the above makes sense. Thanks,Carlos
Hi Sam - I continue to take the expert exam and continue to fail. There are questions that are worded poorly. For example, in this one there are really two right answers. Either could work just fine. There are other similar questions where the answers are open to interpretation. Any guidance on this? Is there any way to just find out what questions I’m getting wrong? Thank you
Hi All,As a Promaster, do we have an option to create a group that is visible only to restricted users defined at the group level? I do not want anyone else to know such a group exists on Process Manager (not even other promasters).I could not find any thing in Nintex help nor cannot find any option at group level.
When checking our Process Dashboard for new processes , following the selection of seen it to cleanse the listing , we have noticed further processes appearing as newly published but showing as at least a month old in age . Just wondered if this is normal behaviour or do we have a possible technical issue?
I have noticed that when an update is made to a System or Lean Tag following re-indexing the changes dont seem to reflect in the impacted processes ? Is this a known issue ???
Hi,I’m developing an E2E process using a Group Process Overview and I am unable to select a system as a role for the linked process. Is this by design, i.e. you can only select roles/responsibilities in a process overview or is this a bug?My E2E includes processes that are fully automated and therefore the applicable system needs to be tagged as the role.ThanksTania
Hi All, anyone uses Nintex process manager to audit process? If yes how? I use the it to add, update and keep processes, but I think I am missing auditing. Any idea? My first question here in the forum. Hope everyone is well.
Hi there, I’m wanting to understand the declining of a process for publishing feature.I’d like to know who gets the notification of the decline - via email and also DashboardIs it:the person that edited the process the owner AND expert All of the above?ThanksErin
I just wondered if i can put forward a proposal to look at having an Unpublish feature for new published processes (those issued at 1.0) ? We have used the workarounds as indicated on another chat thread however change history is lost when using the copy into new process and upon deletion of the one to be unpublished.
Hi , i just wondered if there is any known reason why Processes wouldnt surface in search results ? We have some processes which dont appear to be surfacing and dont understand why. Both individuals searching also have promaster privileges . Thanks in advance
Hello,I’m trying to increase staff engagement to the processes in our organisation. For instance, the obvious mechanism seems to be by encouraging people to provide feedback and to ‘star rate’ processes. However, despite of several communications requesting this, there doesn’t seem to be much change, i.e. numbers in those ratios (Suggestions / feedback, star rating) are very low.I was thinking in perhaps creating a competition and a survey (prizes involved for both). However, I would be open for other suggestions please? Have you created a similar strategy for your organisations?I would be grateful with any contribution in this space. Thanks,Carlos
Is Nintex looking at changing the period in which reviews can be completed on documents and processes. This is causing a significant amount of frustration across users that want to tidy up document and process reviews but cannot do so until they reach that “8week” mark. If they cannot be reviewed until 8 weeks, why bother having them appear on the dashboard at 3months. This is cause a lot of noise and disengaged/frustrated people. Please Nintex do something about it!!
How can I unlink or remove a linked process so that I can archive? I go to the suggested dependencies to see the From - to process but there is no option to remove only to allocate to output pr allocate to input.
Hi, I want to show an activity that basically run during the whole process, like the ongoing monitoring of a particular element of the process while it’s running. Is there a way to show that in the map?
Is it possible to bold text within a process task?
Does anyone with Process Manager Training add-on use it for Building Consent Accreditation (BCA) competencies? For some reason I can only add one Competency Unit, it won’t allow me to create a second unit.
Hi all We have a number of risks that are associated with multiple portfolios. Although staff in these portfolios are not all assigned as treatment sign off’s, the risk managers for these portfolios have the overdue treatments appear in their dashboards and have the ability to ‘sign off for all’. This is concerning as some may choose to do this to remove the notification although the treatment is not assigned to them. is there any way that these overdue treatments can be filtered from the dashboard view or have a ‘seen it’ option to remove from the list?
We use sub-locations for our jobs, in the following format:job# - description The only option for sorting is A-Z, will Z-A be available as an improvement, as the jobs go up in # there’s a lot to scroll through before coming to the latest jobs.
