Nintex University offers two primary roles for customers and partners: Learner and Manager. The Manager role provides additional permissions that allow designated users to manage learners, groups, learning assignments, and access to reporting and analytics. This article explains the permissions available to Nintex University managers and provides an overview of how managers can use these capabilities to support and manage their organization's learning experience.  Manager Permissions Managers can only access and manage information associated with the groups they oversee, based on their assigned permissions. To enable manager permissions, a Nintex University Admin must create a dedicated group, add the relevant learners and courses to that group, and assign the appropriate manager. Current Permissions Permission Access Content View only People View, edit, and assign learners Groups View only Analytics Basic access  Manager Experience 🔓 Access Managers have access to both

Hi,The last two webinars organised by Nintex don’t allow attendance. I signed up to both, in fact there is one right now which i signed up for, but neither would let me in: Error: We experienced an unexpected problem serving your request. Please try again. Despite trying different devices, browsers etc, still get the same message. I would suggest Nintex take a look at who they partner with for Webinars and ensure attendees can login.

HI team, I wanted to ask whether or not it is possible to add another email account to be associated with the Nintex ‘work’ account. I ask as like many of us, we have invested many hours to the learning activities and or items that provide certificates. In the event I move on from said company, are we able to still retrieve and link accounts to personal email account as to use the certificates for future endeavours, in the event evidence is required showing undertaking transcripts and certs in our own name?Same can be said within the Community- badges etc

Do you want to show master-detail information in a form and have it render automatically each time you change the master?  Repeating sections are your friend for this. The secret sauce is to set the default value of the repeating section to the data containing the detail line. “Default value?” I hear you ask.  “Surely that is only set when the form loads?” Well yes – every other control operates this way but we’ve tweaked repeating sections to re-render if the default value field changes.  This way you could use it to set up a repeating section with default values when the form loads but you can also re-render the repeating section if you change the default value. Read on for some examples of how to get this going. Example 1 – using a collection as a data sourceThe first example we’re going to use is by using a collection variable.  One thing you need to be aware of is if the collection variable is part of an object then it must be at the root level of the object.  If it isn’t then you

Hi, I have completed the Nintex Automation for Business Analysts course and quiz, and all requirements are done, but I am unable to click “Continue” to finish the course. How can I fix this?

Till now, AI has been mostly sitting adjacent to the Process Automation platform, not embedded into it. But with the release of Nintex Automation K2 5.9.1, that changes rather significantly. The standout feature in the 5.9.1 release is K2 Intelligence, Nintex’s move toward embedding AI directly into the workflow and forms layer of the K2 platform itself. Importantly, this is not being positioned as a generic “AI assistant” bolted onto the side of the product. Instead, this is a more pragmatic approach: operational AI embedded directly into process execution.K2 Intelligence ArchitectureK2 Intelligence enables AI-powered tasks to be executed directly from workflows, forms, and views within the K2 environment and may be one of the more important architectural shifts K2 has made in years. The key differentiator is not simply that AI exists inside K2. Plenty of platforms now claim “AI-powered automation.” The real differentiator is where the AI executes.Nintex is clearly leaning heavily into

Hi, I’m interested to know if anyone - particularly councils - have developed a management plan around the use of Process Capture when capturing customer information on screens? Have you developed a best practice for staff to use or a business rule around the deletion or redaction of information? Thanks

Hi,I am trying to find an old invoice, can you please let me know where I should be able to find it in your platform? Thanks,Stephan Avila

A new how-to article has been released that covers the process for highlighting a text box in red when a button is clicked and the field is empty in a K2 View. The article outlines the full configuration, starting with the initial setup of the view and continuing through the creation of an IsBlank expression, transferring the expression result through a rule, and applying conditional formatting based on the evaluated outcome. This approach enables validation to occur only after a user action, preventing unwanted highlighting on initial load and providing a cleaner and more purposeful interaction flow. The article is available here:Highlighting an Empty Text Box in a K2 View Using Expressions and Conditional Formatting | Community Have you spotted a gap or have a cool idea? Get ready! Changes to Microsoft Exchange online affects DocGen packages Published: January 15, 2026 Do you use Microsoft Exchange online with our SMTP (email) delivery option in your DocGen packages? Beginning March 1, 2026, Microsoft has announced that it will start rejecting calls to exchange online in this way. This means these emails will no longer be sent. The Nintex team is here to help.  Actions requiredThe following should be done by a Salesforce administrator/ DocGen package designer in your organization:Identify DocGen packages using the SMTP (email) delivery option. Choose a different email delivery approach: Option A: Change the SMTP server you are using in the Delivery option to another service. For example, sendGrid and SMTPtogo have been popular alternatives Option B: Use Salesforce’s email delivery. To do this, you will need to add an Email delivery option to the DocGen packages affected and copy over the values from the SMTP delivery option before deleting them.

Starting in Nintex Automation K2 version 5.8.1, newly created forms will now default to the Dynamic theme. This change helps ensure a more modern, consistent styling experience right from the start—no extra configuration required. What’s changing? In previous versions, new forms defaulted to the legacy theme unless manually changed. With this update, the “Use Legacy Theme” setting is now unchecked by default. New forms will automatically use the Dynamic theme, aligning with a modern design standard and streamlined styling. This change only affects newly created forms. All existing forms, previously upgraded collateral, and SharePoint-generated forms will retain their original theme settings. Why this mattersThe Dynamic theme offers a more contemporary design and consistent color styling. With its default style profile, forms automatically apply a unified set of colors, such as main accents, page backgrounds, and content areas, ensuring a cohesive look across your applications. What if I

Certificates, Re: Automation Specialist for Nintex Automation Cloud - Level I and 11Has anyone got any practice exams for these or any previous attempts documented so I can conduct some self assessments before actually taking the examinations?Would be nice to see, just like actual exam courses, some practice exams (full length - like those from university courses) and or the last couple iterations over the years. If anyone could assist me here, that would be great. I did reach out to my local Senior Customer Success Manager, however he advised he was not able to locate any such thing.

Hi,I am a student studying the NINTEX WORKFLOW course and I would be happy to hear about a recommended learning order.Thank You

If you’ve seen any of my articles before, you may have seen that I speak about the Connected Data feature where you can use Excel to push data into your Word/Powerpoint/PDF template. The possibility is endless when it comes to Connected Data so it may be difficult to figure out what you can do with it.One use case that I encountered was removing the country code from the phone number if the country code is filled out. If it is not, then we want the use the phone number as is. One option that admins could do is to create a Salesforce field to determine this but I have encountered many that do not want to create a new field either because of having too many already to maintain or not wanting to create a field with the only use of it is to be used for DocGen.In my specific example, I will have a field where the user may or may not enter the country code on the contact record. In the scenario where the user have entered a value in the country code, then we want to remove that many numbers
