Nintex Automation K2

I have downloaded and installed the Material Design 3 custom controls from the Nintex gallery into our K2 5.9 test instance, and am seeing some issues with the rendering of controls.Firstly in View design, it does not seem to render icons at all - it just shows the name of the icon. This I can live with, although not ideal for authoring. Also row heights do not increase with the control heights, so it is not always possible to view the full control - especially with Cards. When you try to select the controls to edit the properties, you must click right at the top of the table cell, and only a slither seems to be selected, rather than the whole control itself - I assume this is what is preventing the row height from increasing.Probably most annoying is that not all icons are displaying correctly or anything like how they show in Google fonts - for instance the ‘person_book’ icon simply displays as a person icon next to a book icon. I assume I am missing a <link> s

  There is no way to re-size it, and yes the browser is full screen….

We are using K2 SmartObject with Authentication Mode configured as OAuth in K2 5.4 FP23.The issue is that when a user executes the SmartObject via a SmartForm for the first time, the system always redirects the user to the OAuth authorize URL and requires the user to manually provide consent.We would like to know if there is a way to prevent this first-time redirect and consent prompt.Is there any configuration or approach (e.g., admin pre-consent, service account configuration, or token pre-authorization) that would allow users to execute the SmartObject without being redirected to the authorize URL on first use?Our goal is to avoid requiring each end user to manually grant consent when accessing the SmartObject for the first time.Environment: K2 Version: 5.4 FP23 Authentication Mode: OAuth SmartObject executed via SmartForm

HiBecause of the upcoming deprecation of Exchange Online EWS I’m testing moving our environments over to using MSGraph.I upgraded to 5.9 successfully.  Ran the Exchange Online Migrate wizard successfully and email works.  However, it appears when I look at the Connection String editor for mail configuration that its still using EWS as it didn’t add the MSGraph settings.  I checked and the Azure Enterprise app was added successfully with the correct permissions.  The resource shows correctly in Management.  I tried following the article about manually configuring some of the connection string settings but email then failed.   Is the Migrate wizard supposed to take care of all of the settings or am I missing something?  I’ve restored the VM and retried 4 times so far without any luck.

Hello together, I have a question. How can I wait for a specific item in a SharePoint list which will have a specific status e.g. approved. At first I create an item and then my K2 workflow need to wait for a change.How I can do that?I haven’t found a function yet.Best regardsMatthias

I've created a style profile and am trying to get a header with a logo that will be above the tabs in the form. I have created a.css file that links to a.png image that is also on the server. But when I want to link the.css file into the Style Profile, it says "We were unable to validate it because the file exists. Link anyway?"We have K2 on Prem v.5.8

Is it possible to do this?  

Hello there,We are currently implementing a number of custom controls and are struggling to find real world examples of how to be able to correctly implement the above method for a list bound control.Given the below item view - which has the custom checkbox and the standard one.In the rules designer we get the option to enumerate the various items in the control, as expected: However when displaying a message for each item, we do not get any messages displayed for the custom one, but we do for the standard one.What methods / properties am I missing.Cheers.

Hi,I am trying to retrieve the approver FQN details using Activity Instance Destination SmartObjects, but it is returning null, even though I have configured a timer to allow for a delay.Is there any way to retrieve the approver details when the task is actioned directly from email?I am currently using K2 5.7.Best Regards,Thriveni 

I have upgraded Nintex Automation K2 from version 5.6 → 5.8 → 5.9.The upgrade completed successfully without any errors.The web site is running normally, and users can: Create SmartForms Run workflows successfully However, I found an issue after the upgrade:When I try to log in with some test users (for example: k2test1), they cannot access the Workspace page(e.g. https://k2test.xxxxx.com/workspace).The following error message is displayed: Not authorizedYou do not have permission to view the page that you have requested.The administrator of this SmartForms environment has restricted access to this page.If you believe that you should have access to this page, please contact your SmartForms administrator.

Hello together,I have a problem with load items in a SharePoint list. I have a form with two views. I load items in one view and i want to use a value from the dropdown list in a second view. I don’t know how to filter those data. I’ve managed to transfer the data from the first view dropdown to the form parameter and then I would like to use it in the second view as a filter, but it’s not working so far.I hope you can help me!Best regardsMatthias

Maybe you can help me. e.g. my titles are: Test1; Test2; Test3 and those should be conntected in a string. Hi,With the closure of EWS later this year, what are K2 doing to address this issue?We have EWS utilised throughout our Workflows for approvals etc.I had a K2 Support ticket in last year (October 2025) asking about this the answer was that the Product team is aware and there will be a solution to this. We need to plan for whatever solution K2 provide, but with the October 2026 deadline and no further news from K2, I’d like to start looking into this sooner than later.Any other customers in the same boat? Thanks

I works fine to fill the checkbox, but I would like to show the vales checked in the checkbox list (more than one value is checkable) in a datalabel field.I show one value, but not all the others. Hi,Has anyone experienced issues where a form won’t load. It’s stuck with the Nintext Green Spinner of doom and won’t go beyond that.Restarted the k2 service and iis and still the same issue. Any ideas folks? 

For a while now we have been battling a problem with PDF rendering issues, the PDFs show empty boxes, irregular text formatting and also display of hidden controls and fields on the PDFs.We use the SaveAsPDF control on forms, then attach and send the PDF via emails.When the user opens the PDF. they see that the PDF rendering is misaligned and show empty boxes like this:These below should be hidden: We have a workaround which is to do a k2 service restart and iis reset, this fixes the issue for around 1-3 hours and PDFs are fine, but then the PDFs go back to be as above.We have a ticket in with Nintex for this, but just wondering if anyone else has come across this? Hi All,I am using K2 Five 5.8 and have implemented the SmartActions feature.Is it possible to capture additional comment from the approver when completing a task via email?For example, approver respond the email:ApprovePlease proceed. The expectation is I can get “Please proceed” as the approver comment.This is similar feature with Nintex Lazy Approval feature. Thanks,Rizki

We have observed that the K2 server is using Poppins as the default font across forms and generated content. We would like to understand if it is possible to configure or override this default behavior to include and use a custom font.Specifically, we would like clarification on the following points: Does K2 support adding and using custom fonts at the server or application level? If supported, what is the recommended approach to: Upload/register a custom font (e.g., TTF/OTF/WOFF)? Apply it globally across K2 forms, views, SmartForms, and generated PDFs/emails? Are there any limitations or best practices when using custom fonts in K2 (browser compatibility, performance, or PDF rendering concerns)?
