Nintex Automation K2

Hi,On Nintex K2 5.8 I have workflows that are assigning some task to the users.On the task form a comment field is mandatory.When you use the worklist for this task (without opening the task form), you area able to do the requested action on the task without inserting the mandatory field. So the worklist action is bypassing the task form validation.This is possible from the user workspace, but also from the SharePoint (online) worklist.How can you solve such an issue?Thank you. 

Hi,I’ve create a rule “When a control is changed” on drop-down list and put advance condition for transfer data to another control Normally, the rule should run when I’ve select data on this drop-down But, when I open the view with parameter(execute read method) for put data to drop-down list and another column,  the rule "When a control is changed" is running. How can I set the rule for running only when drop-down list is select or change not when the view initialize with data. Thanks,Tim

I have an AD group that has an email associated with it.When I assign the AD group to task recipient (do not resolve to individual user), I was expecting K2 to send the email assigned to the AD group, but it didn’t. Does anyone have gotten K2 Five (5.6+) sending task email to AD group’s email address?

Using 5.6 at this time with a process having 200 boxes.Currently I have to manually search for the box.Would like to see a search feature that can point me to the box on the process.On the advanced side, show a list of nodes where a given text appears and allows me to go to them.

Hi,I am using K25.7, I recently encountered an issue with email events containing attachments in our workflow.The support team initially recommended applying Fix Pack 13, which resolved the attachment issue.However, we are now facing workflow failures where the activity recipients are null, specifically for reference items within a loop. This started after updating the SmartObject method, and although the data exists in the database, it is not being picked up.I am here attaching screen shot for your understanding.In Test1 Email, emails were received with correct values. In Update Status, updating only status field. in TestPostUpdate email , FQN is getting blank values but there are values in database table.If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has a recommended solution, please advise. Best Regards,Thriveni

Is it possible to Copy or Move a Style Profile in the K2 Designer? I’m not seeing a “Save As” option in the designer like we see with other components, and drag & drop does not seem to have an effect on Style Profiles.

Hellowe have observed very strange behavior with some users. When downloading a PDF document, the downloaded file is not shown in the downloads folder.Only PDFs aren't being downloaded; other file types work fine. The server response has status 200; I see the request in Chrome Developer Tools, which confirms that the server successfully responds to the request. However, the PDF file still doesn't appear in the downloads folder. Other file types, like Word documents, for example, work fine in Chrome. Downloads work for all file types in Edge. For some users, it is a temporary problem and resolves itself after some time, but may appear again, it comes and goes. Problem appears only on K2 Sites.We weren't able to find out what is causing this behavior we fix it by renaming the user profile, Backup Bookmarks (take note of plugins) Close Chrome Rename C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data - BackUp Restart Chrom

I’m trying to call the POST method of a REST-API in our SAP system, however I can’t figure out a way to receive and send a CSRF-Token as is required using only a SmartObject. My goal is to confine the entire procedure to just a SmartObject without writing custom code that potentially needs to be maintained.So far the biggest issue is not being able to filter through the header of the response I get when I send a GET request with x-csrf-token = fetch. As I also need to get a cookie for my post request, I can’t just grab the first line of the header (which is actually the csrf-token) and send it. I also can’t just copy the entire response header and send it, as the “cookie” variable in the response is actually called “set-cookie”. I’ve tried disabling CSRF-validation in the backend and it does work. However I merely tried it for testing purposes and since it’s not recommended by SAP that’s not an option for me.I thought maybe with an OData service instance it could work since it gives yo

I have a SQL instance with the collation Latin1_General_CI_AS_KS_WS for SharePoint Server SE. Is it possible to install K2 on the same instance by manually creating the K2 databases with the required collation (Latin1_General_CI_AS)? When I try this, I get the following warning message .And when I click 'Continue', I get another message: 'K2 is the wrong type of database'."

Hi Community,I am using K2 Dynamic Chart control and want to display the count of requests by status (e.g., Draft = 2, Submit = 1).Currently, my SmartObject  returns individual request rows with fields like RequestId and StatusText. Since the chart sums the RequestId, it shows incorrect values (e.g., Draft = 2, Submit = 3) instead of row counts.Challenge: I cannot modify the database (no SQL view or SP changes allowed). The SmartBox SmartObject does not support advanced grouping What I want:To show accurate grouped counts in my Dynamic Chart without modifying the database directly. in chart control there is any feature related to it.

We've developed a wide variety of K2 applications over the past few years.Now we're asking ourselves: Are these applications actually being used? How often are they accessed, and when were they last accessed? Can they possibly be deactivated or deleted?I'm currently looking for a way to perform this analysis?My question to you:Is there a standard way? An overview/statistics, perhaps, in K2 Management?OrIs there an SMO I can use for this? Then I would write my own K2 application that displays this information in a list.What do you think? Hi, For a SharePoint online list where the manual K2 workflows are visible on the dropdown to start manually  at the item level, it is some way to eliminate a workflow that doesn’t exist anymore on K2?Thank you!
