Topic A manually created user for Nintex Apps, yet in a Nintex Workflow Cloud (NWC) tenant, authenticates via Single Sign-On (SSO), and encounters errors (invalid user, failure to retrieve tables, and unsuccessful connection attempts). This occurs when the user record in Nintex Apps lacks a Federation ID. Instructions ResolutionManually populating the Federation ID field in the affected Nintex Apps user profile with the corresponding User ID found in Nintex Workflow Cloud fixes the issue. TopicWhen in Skuid adding AWS databases (Postgres, Microsoft SQL server, etc.), Skuid provides this guidance in an effort to assist in connecting to the database: However, when navigating the AWS platform, users may find it difficult to navigate how to complete this process.ResolutionThis process can be completed via creating a VPC(Virtual Private Cloud) security group, creating inbound rules to allow Skuid’s recommended IP addresses to connect, then assigning that created VPC security group to your database in the RDS console.Problem DetailsAmazon manages traffic in Virtual Private Cloud via security groups. Security groups allow or deny specific inbound and outbound traffic at the resource level (such as an EC2 instance). When you launch an instance, you can associate it with one or more security groups. Each instance in your VPC could belong to a different set of security groups, giving the user more control over security if they are managing a number of instances.Resolution Process
TopicSalesforce’s Summer ‘21 Release changes the way Lightning Locker handles < (carets) in dynamically created elements. A typical pattern in jQuery is to dynamically append HTML code inside a DIV. In Salesforce’s Spring ‘21 Release, this HTML code was correctly interpreted and displayed; in Salesforce’s Summer ‘21 Release, Lightning Locker Service is looking for the < (carets) and stripping out its contents. TopicAfter upgrading to Chicago (Skuid 14), Forms don’t render correctly and creating a new Form is not working like it used to.ResolutionFirst and foremost update the design systems within Skuid. 2nd, we’ve made changes to the Form component fields added to a section are now added vertically by default, so building horizontal Forms now requires additional steps.Resolution ProcessMake sure you update your out of date themes and design systems.
