Hello, Is it possible to grant access to distribution groups here not the groups created here but directly to a distribution list or group from Microsoft 365?
The product updates come thick and fast here so you might have missed smart response detection. “What is that?” I hear you say. If you are using email responses to your tasks (express approval) then people no longer have to type the exact phrase of the outcome because we’re using AI to interpret the intent of their reply. This makes interacting with the system even more natural for the end user and caters for typos. As an example, if your outcomes are reject and approve. Your end user could respond with “yep”, “approved” or even a mistyped “aprove” to mean approve. It’s even smart enough to know that “absolutely” means approve and “absolutely not” means reject. It even recognises some other languages so “oui” would be interpreted as approve. Don’t try the classic Australian/Kiwi “yeah nah” though because it will reject that phrase and email the person back asking them to be slightly more specific 😂 So how do you turn it on? We have recently upgraded from Nintex Forms 2013 (2.9.0.0 ) to Nintex Forms for SharePoint 2016 - International version: 4.6.11.10.In the older 2013 version, fields that are form based only, and not connected to a Sharepoint list column, had validation rules that fired on submission. However the validation rules no longer trigger after we upgraded to latest Nintex Forms 2013 version 2.12.9.0, then to Nintex Forms for SharePoint 2016 - International version: 4.6.11.10.Has anyone had this validation issue with Nintex Forms and unconnected controls, and if so, did you find a way to rectify? We need some controls ie controls in Repeating Section, to be unconnected AND also have validation.

If you are running into an issue where your REST based SmartObjects are only returning the HTTP response code and no data, or the data is blank, there is a simple fix. This issue is related to having a strange character or . (Period) character in the Service Instance System Name. This causes the K2 REST Broker to be confused and have a tough time returning values, only returning empty values and the HTTP Response code. Resolution: Simply recreate the REST Service Broker not using a strange character. Also recreate your smartobjects and you should see the SmartObjects returning all the correct data.

Hello!I need to retrieve the direct link to the Assigned Task in Nintex Automation Cloud, with the goal of storing it in a database. This will allow us to display the task link on a Power BI dashboard for tracking purposes. Some existing workflows use the “Query User Profile” action to retrieve user information from the SharePoint User Profile.Is there a feature in K2 Five that provides similar functionality to the “Query User Profile” action in Nintex Workflow? One of my customers is using a native application that runs on IE6. Since IE has been deprecated, my customer runs it with MS Edge Chromium under IE6 compatibility mode and can run it well as expected. Next, they want to use an RPA solution and one of the requirements is to interact with the application that runs under IE6 compatibility mode (the interaction is to do the web scraping).So, I tested it using Nintex RPA and found that the web scraping failed to detect the web page (no dotted rectangle appeared). I tested it with another page that is not related to IE6 compatibility mode and it works well (dotted rectangle appeared as described below). Does anyone have an experience like this? Or could it be a limitation of features from Nintex RPA which could not support IE6 with compatibility mode? Need any input on this.
We have a classic Nintex form in SharePoint 2016 on-premises with a label control that contains some static hyperlinks to documents related to the form which users may need to reference when filling out a new item form. When creating a new form from the “+ new item” link at the top of the SharePoint list view, the form opens in a dialog and clicking on the hyperlinks in that control opens the documents in a new tab. However, if the user opens the NewForm.aspx in its own tab so the form is not a floating dialog box, clicking on the same hyperlinks will not open the documents in a new tab and navigates them away from the form page, therefore any information the user entered in the form up to that point ends up being lost. Does anyone know if there is some way to configure the links/control settings so they will always open in a new tab regardless of the mode/method used to open the new item form in the user’s browser?This is an example of the HTML source from the text format of the lab

ProblemWe are trying to publish a workflow with some modifications in a productive environment (the server is divided in 2, one as App server and the other as Front End server).The problem is that at some point if we add one more action we get the error shown in the image below. I’m using a drop-down list on a Single Choice form control. The data for this list is in a Nintex Data Table. I’d like to allow the form user to add an entry to this table and have the drop-down list update without leaving the form. I can do this once the form has been submitted easily using the ‘Tables - Create a Row’ action in the workflow. How do I do this without the user leaving the form? Thank You Darren

HELP! We have built a form on Nintex cloud that includes repeating sections. This form is to connect to an already existing form within SharePoint O365. All other fields are updating as expected, except for repeating sections. Does anyone know how we can make this happen?
After installing Nintex Workflow for SharePoint SE, The Nintex workflow and forms timers jobs are not displayed in the Job Definitions page in Central Admin. The only timer job displayed is the Nintex Forms Purge Job. The Nintex dbs are connected, web applications activated, action settings are set, Nintex forms feature activated on all web applications, Nintex workflow is enabled on the sites. I initially installed version 6.0.7.10 and then upgraded to 6.0.9.0 with the same results. The workflows do run but timer jobs are missing. Any assistance/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
I have a repeating section in my start form. In the workflow, I have a branch by stage with 3 branches that are 3 different person: Rep, Manager, GSM. Each of them has a task to do.The request goes to the manager firts. The manager form has an editable repeating section that is the same as the start event. The manager can change the repeating section. If the manager approves the request, it goes to the GSM. If not, the request returns to the Rep. The GSM task form has also the editable repeating section. He can change the repeating section. The GSM has the possibility to return the request to the Rep or to the manager to revise it.My problem is that for the manager task, the value that I want to show in my repeating section can come from the start form, the Rep form or the GSM form. So I don't know how to configure the count formula and the getItemCollectionItem in the Rules of the manager form, because of this.Can you help me?
