Process Manager

Do you have examples of Level 0 (mega-process) for the public sector, specifically Local Government? The reason for asking is because our current Promapp structure is based on organisational hierarchy which is causing us problems when looking at end-to-end processes across functions. The only examples of Level 0 process maps I can easily find online are more appropriate for private sector where they provide a smaller range of products/services using a ‘sales > design > produce > invoice’  model. We can shoehorn our services into this model but I feel there is a better way to arrange our ‘core processes’ in Local Government. Any ideas on these groupings or connection recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Note: Level 0 (mega-process) related to the Quality Management System Process Model Approach of a one-pager showing the Management (strategic), Core (value chain), and Supporting (support chain) Processes together.

Is it possible to include other costs associated with a process eg. printing

Hi everyone.I'm having a problem with deleting some kinds of processes that I assume are blocked because I don't even have the option to modify them. (I'm the promaster, so I should be able)  Under the "manage group" tab, and inside the Promapp Training group, there are 3 processes only visible in the group section that can't be deleted. Can somebody help me with this?Thank you all.  

Hi Team, im sure this has come up previously and i think i recall someone showing how it could be done in a training video but i cant find it! Essentially i have a simple process which has a decision diamond which branches off to a step if yes or continues if no. I would like for the directional arrow for "yes" to show as being both directions to denote you would need to complete the "yes" step but then come back to the next step in the process (essentially make the arrow double ended rather than just point to the yes step and then onto output. Hope that makes sense! 

We have an active user who has created many processes in the past, when they tried to create a new process today and needed to assign an Owner & Expert they searched for their own name and there was no dropdown that had appeared at all. As a workaround I was able to create a process and select them as the owner & expert which then allowed them to start working on the process but they still cannot create a process and this isn't a feasible solution in the long run as they will be adding many more processes to the group. Any tips or tricks to try and resolve this issue for our user?

Hi. I have a process with multiple nested exceptions. I know I can use a Note for the tasks required if the first exception rule is met, but within these exception rules, there can be another exception - can the tasks for the second exception be listed under an Activity, or will I need to create a sub-process for them?The process steps are:Task = Check for stock on regional store. Note: What if no regional stock? Actions under Note: Check in national store What if no national stock? Action: Order partsI know the obvious thing to do is to create an Order Parts process, but just wondering if instead of a process, this can just link to an Order Parts activity. Thanks.

Hello everyone, I could not find this question already answered. Basically, I have renamed a process which is a linked process to another one. When I want to observe the map view (for one it is linked to) the blue hyperlink name for the linked process is still showing with previous name. I have tried deleting the activity/decision and still won't show. I got two of these and have deleted/recreated them an still the old name shows. Of course, when I click on the link it does take me to the actual linked process which displays the new name. This is an issue because the reader would get confused by the title showing wondering why it is there and then see it actually change when following the link.Thank you in advance 

Hi, I couldn't see this in the Community but it must have been answered already somewhere. How can I reconnect a conditional process/decision to a certain stage in the process being worked on AFTER it has been completed?

Hi, we have just realised that todo tasks have not been reassigned when staff leave or change roles. Am wondering if it would be possible to have these linked under the user profile with other assigned responsibilities?

Is it possible? If not possible, how do I pose a question to Nintex but other means?   Thanks

I have a process with a reference of 5.5.2.1Previously I have been able to enter that number in the search and get to the process quickly. This no longer happens; it seems the functionality in Search has changed.I can locate the process if I enter "5.5.2.1" but adding quotes is not intuitive to our 400+ users used to using just a process number. Is this a byproduct of the changes to Search as rolled out in June 2022? Is the text no longer being searched for 'as typed'?

Hi I'm trying to delete created roles which are no longer in use. So I need a report that would show the  the list of roles not associated to any process. Anyone familiar with this? I tried Reports > Process Activities By Role and Responsibility, it only gives me published process, If I ticked box for unpublished I'm getting an error.I needed to delete roles that are not associated to any flows. Appreciate your inputs! 

What can we do if we have several users with the same name?If I have 4 "John Smith"s for example, they can each have their own login (j1smith, j2smith, etc.) but when we go to assign a map owner/expert, I only see 4 instances of John Smith.  Using middle names is only a half-step, since there are still folks with the same (or no) middle name - and even then we'd need to ensure that everyone knows everyone else's middle names? Is there a way to search by logon ID? Or other creative solutions?

When opening a pop-up box (i.e to view Activity, Trigger or Output)  there is no ability to scroll in the pop-up box .    Only via the mouse wheel,  widening the width on the box,  or using the keyboard arrow keys.     Is there a way to be able to actually manipulate the scroll bar with the mouse to drag up and down.      Thanks 

Can I run a report or filter in Promapp to display documents and their associated document tags, or filter documents by tags?For example, when we encounter documents with information that shouldn't be there, we like to tag them accordingly, and then run a report of all the documents that have been tagged, so that we can resolve the issue in a controlled manner.

Hi there, I am running the Document List report and ticked the checkbox "Include associated Process Groups, Search Tags and System Tags" but none of the Associated Groups are showing and I can confirm that we have associated groups with documents.

Folders become junk drawers with inconsistent labels unless there are controls.  We would really like to have a setting to allow only the PROMASTER (or BA) to add/remove groups. We recently had a USER (not an ANALYST) create a bunch of groups and it really made a mess of our folder structure.  As we grow our user base, I fear this will only become a larger challenge. Please let us know if you have creative solutions OR please vote the idea: https://nintex.uservoice.com/forums/919189-7-nintex-promapp/suggestions/42147529-restrict-group-management-to-promasters-functi Thank you! 

I have a user trying to crate a new process in promapp and when they add themselves as the owner, they get a red error message. However they can add myself and I can go in and update it to them and it accepts the user. Why would this be happening?  Are you not allowed to add yourself as either the Owner or Expert of the process on creation?  Their access looks fine, no restrictions on the group that I can see.

We are currently experiencing about half of our users/BA's are unable to access Promapp and receive an error message stating: Unauthorized Access.  Is anyone else currently having this issue or have you found a resolution?  We did not have this issue last week.  

Is there anyway we can recede back to a previous step in a process on a decision diamond?   to link the flow back to an earlier step.   eg: if a task does not pass review, it is passed back to the previous stage for more requirement gathering. This would be a simple loop in visio, where we would consider multiple variations that would be the unhappy path, but are part of a process.

Hi all I am trialling the new reporting API with the excel template and have noticed that archived processes are pulling through in the process reviews table. Does anyone know a way to exclude these from reporting?

Kia ora everyone Our organisation is wanting to use our Process Maps for user acceptance testing for a new system.  To do this, we are needing to export our processes out to either CSV or excel.  I am not just wanting a list of processes, but an export of the activity and task level within our processes, for a particular area of the business.Can someone please advise how I can do this?  I don't wish to do these individually. Thank youHelen

We used to have a way to remove variations or revert to standard under the gear menu for a process.  I am not seeing it any longer (see attached) and we have several that are under review which are being consolidated to a single process.  Did this functionality change or get moved to another area?  Is there a way to do this without copying the process (which loses all history in the change log)?
