Hi, slightly confused regarding what the 'User' privilege allows someone to do. Help documentation seems to conflict. First one says they can create and edit. Second one says create only. Am I missing something? Thanks

Hi Rachel,

I think the variance is due to the Process Owner or Process Expert statement. A user should be able to edit the process if they have been assigned as the Owner or Expert as per the below table:

Hope this is what you were looking for

Kind Regards,

Mark.

All users can create process unless you have set the configuration item to restrict this.

Even with this config item turned on, all users can create a process but must be named as either the process owner or process expert to be able to edit the process after initial creation. Others who can edit the process are process group champions, process group editors and promasters.
