For example- we have 3 separate maps for Hiring New Associates: Hire- full time, Hire- part time, & Hire- seasonal. I'd like to convert them into one map, with each different type as a variation. Is there a way to move or copy the existing maps, into a variation? Without having to re-create the activities and tasks.
Is there a way to dis-associate or change a document to another process group where the process holding the linked document has been archived and the link not removed. Â
I have identified 147 users who no longer have active Active Directory accounts but are currently Enabled within Promapp. How do I bulk disable them ?I'm not keen on doing each one manually, especially as there is no user search function.
We have found that users who are accessing minimode outputs of process groups can't navigate back to a higher level of the process group if they open a subordinate process within the process group. The back button is greyed out on the browser which prevents this. Is there something that we are missing? Browser being used is the Version 89.0.774.57 of MS Edge.
I know we can export a Promapp process to XML. We can also import processes (eg iGrafx XML). But it appears that we cannot import an XML file that was exported from Promapp? Â Scenario: We want to develop a next iteration of an existing process, but as a stand-alone new process first. Then somehow incorporate the newly developed process to replace the existing process. I have not found an existing method within Promapp to do this, so was trying the XML export and import work-around, but that led me to a dead end. But surely Promapp can import an XML file that was exported from Promapp in the first place?
With the new variations functionality, is there a way to identify all processes that have variations? I've got the 'conversion list' but this doesn't show all processes with variations, only the ones that have been converted (i.e. it doesn't show processes created after the new variations were enabled). I've tried the 2 reports under 'Useful Process Variation Reports' and both of these need a process to be selected before the report will display any information. I've also checked the Process List but that doesnt include reference to variants. How do I identify all processes that use variations without navigating through all processes?
Hi there, I'm interested to know how others have categorised/grouped their processes. We have done this by department so we have 7 Units which each have a variety of processes mapped. (sometimes 500+ ) This also means we have duplicates in different groups. Looking to see how others have done this. ThanksÂ
Hi, There is a process I am trying to archive but it keeps failing and I get the following error message from publishing screen. Issue seems to be with the process itself as we had previously tried to publish it and couldn’t so we made a copy and published that. Now trying to archive the original record. Thanks,Viswa
Is there a way to bulk archive processes? I have a bunch that need to be archived that are written by the same owner and expert, so they could be filtered to select that way. Â thanks M
Can you use [] brackets at the start of an activity or taskÂ
Hi Promappers I am looking to add an email address as a clickable Web Link. For context this is a shared mailbox used to manage one of our procurement processes.  When adding to a task within activities the address is just plain text and doesn't resolve as a clickable hyperlink. If I try to add as a Web Link I get an error message ".... is not a valid URL. Should you wish to use the URL, a Promaster may change the URL regular expression setting to support it." The admin portal seems to support the whitelisting of addresses such as www.address.com* but I can't seem to whitelist a mail domain. Is this possible at present, or is there a work around?
Hello,Can you please help me find the 'Standard Process' (or 'Out of the Box' processes) that come with Promapp? I'm trying to map common processes in my organisation i.e. Procurement, Accounts Payable, etc and I understand Promapp provides some 'template-like' processes that I could use as a starting point, rather than writing one from scratch. I hope this makes sense 🙂 Thanks,Carlos
Is it possible to print a process with the changes highlighted (like we see when comparing versions in Promapp) ? We often have to send Policies to our Board for approval before we can publish the changes and they want to see what we are changing. Of if anyone has an easy workaround it would be much appreciated. Thanks. Â
I was wondering if anyone new how to have your images display under the Activity/Task? In the Edit tab they do this, but in the Procedure tab they show to the right. This is a little confusing as to what step the image should apply to. I would also be open to any suggestions of how others have worked around this.Â
A user has dashboard notifications that have the Acknowledge action greyed out and no view option available. Processes have been changed and he has notifications with his involvement status being "System Stakeholder" however in the systems tab he is not mentioned as any system Owner or stakeholder. He doesn't have access to the groups the processes are housed in but I cannot resolve the notifications as I cannot find him referenced as any system stakeholder?
I would like Promapp to audit (via the Change Log) when using the email process function. If I provide feedback, an audit is maintained. I want to know who the process has been emailed to, as well as the body of the message, similar to how it works with feedback. Â
I have a user that has been set up but can not be found in searches and not able to be added to processes. When trying to make new profile, it says "username already exists". In existing process maps the RACI has their name but on the map view, shows their profile photo and name as "test test". I'm not able to delete their profile, as I can't find them in any search - eg:Â
Hi There,I can see an old sample/training process with Process Owner and Process Expert - Promapp Promaster. However, this user doesn’t seem to exist in our user/role list. Please advise where is the Promapp Promaster role appearing? Please refer to the screen shot attached. Thanks,Viswa
Hi, Â Is there way that bullet points can be inserted, directly from Promapp, whilst building a process map and populating different activities within this. Â Thanks
Hi There, I am looking to archive a process with variations in Promapp. I am able to archive the standard process. However, the variations have a different global process owner who have been deleted from Promapp. I am unable to make the field editable because of which archival is not possible. Please advise. See image attached Thanks, Viswa
After importing procedure text with Notes, the notes appear as activities. I believe I'm following the example provided in ProMapp but with no success so far. Could anyone share any experience with getting Notes to import correctly? See attachments for view of before and after text import. Also, promapp provided example attached.  Thank you! Â
Is there a way to stop the inheritance of the Publisher stakeholder in Sub process groups as there doesn't appear to be an option to remove higher layer Publishers ? Example Top Process Group -  Person A (Top PGO) has been allocated as publisherSub Process Group -  Person A plus Person B (Sub PGO) are now allocated as publishers , however Person A (Top PGO ) only wishes to publish processes at the top layer and has delegated Person B as publisher for the Sub Process Group,  however there is no option to remove Person A (Top PGO) from being the publisher .   Any help or clarification would be great on this , thanks Â
Does Promapp send email notifications for process reviews? I'm assuming it sends emails to Owners and Experts for processes but I can't see this in the documentation. I've gone through all the documentation including https://help.nintex.com/en-US/promapp/Dashboard/Myreviews.htm and not found anything that tells me how they work. What I'd really like to know is the following:- Is there a notification email?- If there is, is it 1 email per process?- How many times is this sent out?- How often is it sent out?- Are review notifications grouped? Can anyone shed some light on this feature? (or point to it in the documentation!) Thanks,Eddie
Hi, slightly confused regarding what the 'User' privilege allows someone to do. Help documentation seems to conflict. First one says they can create and edit. Second one says create only. Am I missing something? Thanks Â
Hi all, am testing the training module for use with our onboarding process, am wondering if there is a way to notify supervisor and trainee when training is overdue? Also, when selecting 'supervisor sign off' on training unit, will the supervisor gets notification when training has been completed?
