Nintex for SharePoint

Is it supported and if so, how do you properly rename a configuration database during a migration between one farm to the next (eg. when upgrading SharePoint)?We’ve tried to attach a config database that has been renamed to match the environment it’s now in, but the operation fails with an error stating it can’t find the database with the old name. We’ve run the _PrepareForNewEnvironment stored procedure before attempting to attach the database.

What is the required for adding additional SharePoint server to existing SharePoint 2019 farm? from Nintex side, do i need to run the installer again? or anything else (regardless getting new license if it`s a web server)  

Is there a way to save data for previous entered values. For Example I have a field “Name of Person”. When I go to create a new item I would love to see a dropdown of previous entered values.

I want to use a form simply for data input…..so when an entry is made and submitted, the record is saved but the form immediately reverts back to the state as if I’d pressed “new”.

Hello, I am trying to create a visible rule within my responsive form for a group field to only show when the form is in new mode AND if the person is the submitter. Otherwise, this specific group section will not be visible.  Is this supported with New Responsive forms? Currently I can create the rule if it is in New form mode or if the the person opening the form is the submitter. I can’t seem to include both options.

Is Nintex workflow product version: 5.2.5.0 compatible with SharePoint 2019 environment?We recently installed the latest version of Nintex Workflow 2019 on our test environment SharePoint 2019. Everything else works fine, we've tested a form & workflow and was successful. However, when we try to preview the running workflow to see its workflow progress we only can see half of the workflow and not everything. Like its in a preview modeHow can I be able to view the entire visual presentation of the running workflow?

i have old running workflow instant which create tasks to some users i need to delegate all old open tasks to another user .

Hi All - I do not have a coding background and build quite basic approval workflows for use in my workplace.I have configured workflow to send email notification as well as various flexi-tasks. This workflow is still in development and has been working perfectly for about a month now until last night I began getting the following error message:"Failed to send notification. An invalid character was found in the mail header: ':'." Nothing changed at all in the workflow actions to result in this error - merely continuing to test run submissions through the workflow. I have attached screen shots of how this is playing out in real time. I have tried the following mitigation thus far that have all failed:-removing references from the email subject-removing references from the email body-deleting the first send notification action altogether and placing my Management Approval flexi-task as the first  workflow action and still get the same error message - but the workflow says it is "in Progre

I have created a hyperlink field in the sharepoint document library and updated the hyperlink field manually. After updating the hyperlink field i just published and approved the document. In this case before approval and after approval i don't face any issue with broken links.Coming to the nintex where the sharepoint document library hyperlink field updating via nintex. After updating the hyperlink field i am able to open the link without any issue and sometime when i publish and approve the document i am not able to open hyperlink and getting page not found error.May i know what could be the reason and why its behaving in such a way?Is there any way to frame the sp Hyperlink field via Nintex?Its bit urgent. Could you please help me to resolve this issue :)

I have a site workflow that will collect all of the information in the list, including information in each list item repeating section, and then generate a document. I’m having trouble extracting the the xml information inside a For Each action. I can get the document generated with repeating section information from the first list item but nothing after that.Any help would be appreciated

Hello,So I am trying to update a field or set a field (I’ve tried both controls, but no luck) in a sharepoint list after a form is submitted (via workflow).Once a form is submitted for an event (in nintex forms for office 365) a checkbox will appear afterwards, when the user goes in to edit if they want to cancel the event. I then have a workflow (nintex workflow for O365) waiting for the check box to be checked and if so, I’m trying to update the sharepoint column with “Yes”. In this case its a boolean since the control is Yes or No.This is what I have… shouldn’t this work? Or am I missing something?

In a discussion with a Nintex Reseller the other day a suggestion was made that the Action History could be removed from all workflow histories. I asked, somewhat surprised, if there was an NWAdmin command that does that and he answered that there wasn’t which only elevated my suspicion. Are you familiar with this practice? I’d like to not even have that information recorded to begin with but if it could be removed after an error free completion. Any posh scripts that do this work?Thanks

Hi,We are planning to upgrade Project Server 2013 to Project Server 2016.We are using Nintex workflow for SharePoint 2013 and Project Server 2013 and we need to upgrade it also to 2016.We are looking to continue using Nintex workflows in SharePoint 2016. As Nintex workflow actions are not available for Project Server 2016.What is the alternate option we’ve achieve the functionality in Nintex 2016 that was available in Nintex 2013 for Project Server actions like Read Project Property, Set Project Stage etc. 

Hello - I created the Documents Repository and stored documents (PDF, Word, Excel) in SharePoint Document library on Premises. The document approval workflow completed with SharePoint columns as Document status = Final and Approval Status = Approved. If I would like to modify a document once it already approved and initiate the approval workflow again. How can I do it? Please advise. I’m appreciated your help.

PDF comes into library via being sent to the library email address.Nintex WF - triggered and creates a folder using the PDF name.Nintex then copies the PDF into that folder - using the Create item in another site action.The PDF no longer opens. The PDF open fine outside of the folder. 

When i wat to preview a form i get a error message not from nintex but from the browser while loading the form. I am using SharePoint 2019 OnPrem and trying to create a Nintex form that uses Panels to break up the form into sections. In the previous version, I used Buttons to call up the different panels but in 2019, Nintex has assigned specific functions to the Buttons. Is there another way to break up the form into logical sections?

Hello all,I have added a Nintex Forms webpart to a page and would like it to redirect to different pages when clicking save or cancel. I am using the Resposive Form with SharePoint 2019.When I use the form normally the redirection I set on the save or cancel buttons works. But unfortunately not on the page.I know the redirect webpart setting but unfortunately there is no way to distinguish if save or cancel was clicked.Can you help me?
