Nintex Workflow

In Nintex Workflow Cloud, is there a way to rename and change the email of a user in the ‘User management’ section? We had a user get married and want to keep their existing submissions, drafts, and permissions associated with their new email.

I have a Nintex form with a repeating table. There has been a change in requirements to start using some of the data in this repeating table in a workflow. So on my SharePoint Online list (where I have the form data being saved) I’ve created a new multi-line text field. In the forms designer, I’ve connected my repeating table to this new field, and re-published.Now when I open a previously submitted form, this repeating section on the form is empty! Where did the data go?If I disconnect this repeating table from the list field, and republish, then the data in the repeating table re-appears if I open a previously submitted form.The form has been published to the SharePoint list, so it’s the default form when users to go to create a new SharePoint list item.

I’m trying to find some examples of functions that can be run with JS-Insert. Specifically, I’m trying to base64 decode a string. I’m hoping I can run the atob() function against a field that contains the encoded string. Currently, the control just shows me whatever I type into the ‘JS to Execute’ field. Does anyone have any insight into how to accomplish this?

Our company’s customer master has more than 10000 records and we cant do a straight lookup to sql on premise due to the 5000 records limitation. Is there any way to get around this limitation so we can lookup fields? Has anyone encountered a similar situation?

Hey folks I’ not receiving nintex i'm not receiving instance alerts when a work flow fails - I believe I have everything set up correctly. Ive checked my spam folder an nothing in that space has been received as well. This is in a production environment also. ++++++NOW RESOLVED +++++

I see in the April 2025 Release Notes that there is a new feature --“Import / Export Workflow File via API: You can now use the Nintex Workflow API to import and export workflow file-based definitions.“in the API page, it says, “Export a published workflow design to import it into another tenant.”I was wondering, “What if I don’t want to import into another tenant?”Can I simply export it from a custom program and store the workflow definition file in a repository, so I have some kind of software versioning process?Maybe -- I might have to try it out.  But I was going to check here first if anyone else has al

I have a simple document generating workflow that is pulling from a SharePoint list which contains numbers with commas.  When i generate the document, these numbers are not including the commas in the numbers.  For example:$30,000 (How it looks in SharePoint)$30000 (How it looks when generating the document using the variables)   Anyone know how I can include the commas exactly how it shows in SharePoint?  Hopefully I am making sense.   Thank you!

We have connections upon connections as I’m sure most do. How do we trigger a notification if a connection is expiring? This is causing all kinds of issues that stretch beyond a workflow not running. Has anyone found a way to monitor tokens and alert the owner, or anyone BEFORE it expires?

I want my Nintex task form to display multiple choice checkboxes using data generated from a previous step in the NAC workflow. At first, I tried using Collections for this, but that did not work. It was not an available option in the “Choice - Multiple” form control. I then switched to another method, whereby I stored the data in a SQL database table, added an “External Data” variable in the form, and did an “Insert” in the Choice - Multiple control using this external data variable. It worked, but it is slow.  15 seconds or more sometimes.Any suggestions on improving this? See screenshots below. First shows the configuration. Second shows the slow-to-load, grayed out control. Third shows Multiple Choice control when populated. 

Hi, I created a custom connector using xtensions. I was able to test that it works because I am able to call the connector in my flow then I log the results to the instance details. However, when I create the data look up in my start form. It is returning with No Data Provided. Based on the testing from calling the connector in the flow I can see that I am returning back the expected results so I know the connection is working. The custom connector I created is for CRM Dynamics. The out of the box CRM connector is not available for creating a Data Look up so I had to create it in xtensions.

I have a collection named PRODUCTI am looping into my collectionIn the collection, I have many fields, but there is one Text field that is empty: Components Text.How can I update this field to put a value in it?

For Nintex Automation Cloud, after the form is filled, or after the endorser go to the form to endorse/reject, the form will not be able to view in the form format anymore, we can only see the filled information in all text format in SharePoint on Premise, or in the email. Is there any simple way to view the information in Form format? I'm not keen with HTML script, so I don't want to design the view using HTML. For the Nintex on Premise, we can always go to the form. This is quite a problem that end users complain.

Just wanting to check if anyone else is having instances get paused on Document Generation steps? Starting this morning, we have multiple workflows that are stopping at doc gen actions, complaining that the access token expired yesterday.  I’m not aware of any access token needed for document generation, so I don’t believe this is on our end.  I do see in the “What’s New”, that document generation was changed yesterday, which probably isn’t a coincidence.  I have made a support ticket, but I’m waiting for a response.  Thank you!

We have configured several Nintex cloud connections and datasources using different M365 “service accounts”. Is there a quick way to tell what credentials are configured on any particular connection or data source?

I have a form with several dropdowns that populate depending on other values typed in & selected. When users have already selected what they want, and start typing in the comments in a text box, in the middle of typing, the cursor goes back to the beginning of the paragraph. It is really annoying. I have an mp4 video I wanted to share, but it is over 5 MB and won’t upload. I will try compressing it later.  Can anyone help or should I report this as a bug?  

I am making good use of Nintex Data Tables now. It is especially good for getting a quick response in your workflow form. Sometimes calls to our on-prem SQL database take several seconds. Is there a way to clear a hyperlink field in Sharepoint Online using the SPO Update Items action in Nintex Automation Cloud? Leaving the field empty in SPO Update Items doesn’t seem to do anything to the field in Sharepoint.

I have many forms in my workflow with the same repeating section “PRODUCTS”Start form DC Control Sheet STEDI Approval DC Closing StageI am able to copy data of my repeating section form the Start Form to my task form DC control Sheet. In that form, I have new fields in my repeating section. I want the content of these fields to also be copied to the other 2 task forms.I am using the getCollectionItem in a rule. But it is not working, my fields stay blanks.getCollectionItem([Workflow].[Assign a task to DC Control Sheet].[Assign a task to multiple users].[First response].[Form variables].[Products].[Condition After Inspection],[Products].[Current row].[Row number]-1)I have attached my workflow. I someone can help me finding why my fields in my repeating section are blanks in the STEDI Approval and DC Closing Stage, it will be great. 

In our Nintex Automate workflow, use the Get Manager Details action to populate a variable with the manager’s email but the email has capitalization. How do we lowercase the value? The set variable value action doesn’t let you apply the function toLower. This is a problem because the generate document show one email all lowercase (context current user) and one with capitalization (get manager details).

There is a similar question about this topic (here), but I added a question at the end of it that's never been answered - possibly because the original question has already been marked as solved.I use @burked's solution for getting rid of the brackets and quotation marks from items in a collection, and that works fine. But it seems that NWC no longer puts a space after the comma that separates the items. Hi all, can you please help me sort out my issue, I have been looking everywhere and I can't find a solution.At the start event form, I set the file upload, this file will always have a different name (depending on the user) I wonder if there is a way to rename it to one of the variables and save it on the SharePoint folder.

I have a responsive form from which I am generating a PDF from a template. That’s working fine but because the PDF that is generated is both internal and customer facing, I’d like to be able to display a multi-choice checkbox lookup field as those checkboxes (along with the options selected) instead of returning the submitted information in a string. Is this possible? Or if I’m overthinking and there’s a better way to do this, I’m all ears. I did find the same question here but the images aren’t available & I’m struggling to wrap my head around it.As a part 2 to this question, I’m finding that anytime I make a change to the template, I’m having to retag every single field and not just the one that changed. Is this expected behavior?
