Checklists not generating email notifications
Hi all, we are looking at checklists to asses if these could be useful as a prompt for staff to complete activities in particular processes, although we do see some issues with having to start new checklists for every instance eg each time LIM is received. When testing this we do not seem to be receiving email notifications when items assigned , overdue or when the previous item has bene completed. Is there a setting I am missing? Also is anyone using the checklist function successfully and for which processes?
Can you secure a group to particular department?
In Promapp we have a group structure based on our organisation structure - we have a HR section and they want to be the only ones that can edit the processes in that group. We have a number of Business Analyst users set up across the business and I am not sure if there is a way lock them out of touching the HR processes. Any advice would be grateful.
Variation - STANDARD not showing from minimode
When publishing a map with variations, folks with the minimode link do not see the STANDARD. Is this the anticipated behavior? If we wanted others to see the STANDARD steps, would we need to create another variant and leave it unchanged? What I find more strange is that the behavior is different even when I use the link from a browser - which suggests that the link is still referencing my profile to determine my level of access. PROMAPP FLOW EXCEPTION CAPTURING
I am in the middle of a POC for a customer committed to purchase Promapp. But the customer wants to know if Promapp can branch back and have a rework, like we have it on visio. I wasn't able to do that as most Promapp flow that I saw online were done in a straightforward format. I will be glad if an answer can be provided.

Conditional Input Incorrectly Showing in Minimode Link
Hi, I made a sample process which had a conditional input shown like this:However, it looks like this in minimode link:The minimode link is taken from the published process, but there is still an arrowhead going to the conditional input. How do I resolve this?Thank you.
How to update Global Process Owner for a process variation?
Hi, I have a parent process, which has three process-specific variations. I want to update the Global Process Owner to a process variation as the process has been transitioned to a different team. I have already updated the correct name in the Process Template (standard version of the process) and re-published the process. It did not work. It only updated the Process Template and the process variation still reflects the name of the previously updated Global Process Owner. I understand that when a process variation is created it automatically takes the Global Process Owner and Global Process Expert from the Template Process. Not sure why it is not updated after updating it in the Process Template. Can someone help address this issue and let me know how to update the Global Process Owner for a process variation? @Nintex_Sam It would be a great help if you can provide your input on this. Thanks.
Dashboard notifications for Promaster (new published processes and changes to processes)
As a Promaster, I want to receive dashboard notifications when:- A new process is published- Changed to an existing process are publishedMy approval flow is turned off, and you can go straight to 'publish'How might I achieve the above?
Viewing processes using minimode links
Earlier, minimode links were used to update after the process is published. That means after the process is published, the same minimode link is used to display the last updated version before it was published and called out as "Historical version".Now, it doesn't work this way. Has this behavior changed recently?The same older version minimode link will redirect you to the latest published version of the process (for example, from v0.14 to v2.0). If this is true and recently implemented, the "Help Centre" documentation (available/accessible on the upper-right corner of the Pomapp UI - Help > Help Centre) needs to be updated. It still provides information that contradicts the current implementation/behavior of the minimode link.Please refer to the attached screenshot.
@Mention still not sending emails?
It was due in Feb 2020 then it was rolled back, then it was due last week but it's still not working. I see it's announced in the 'Whats new' section which appears to be dated 28th of Feb 2022, has it been released? It's mentioned in the documentation which states it'll work if the 'Enable email notifications for @mentions (Default:On)' setting is set to on, which it is, but it's still not sending emails. The documentation on help.nintex.com doesn't include any additional requirements, I believe all users are configured in a way that would enable this to work, their email addresses are entered in the 'email' field which I presume is required? Has anyone been able to make it work without enabling emails for all feedback?Eddie
User Voice - Is it worth adding ideas or is it a waste of time?
I've got a list of improvement ideas I've noted whilst using Promapp recently that I thought I'd add to uservoice.com to try and help product development. I've just had a look at the older posts and I can see that the most popular post from over 2 years ago has been 'planned' since August 2019 and hasn't been implemented. Would it be fair to say it's not worth adding ideas on here as nothing happens with them? I'm also mindful of existing faults that I'd assume are prioritised above product development which also haven't been fixed. What are everyone's thoughts on making suggestions? Is it a waste of time or something that makes a difference?
Admin tab - Roles & Responsibilies page
As a promaster we have noticed over the last few weeks that when you go in to this page the hover function of the 'Users' column does not show the user names and the 'Edit' function in the right-handside column does not work when you click on it. See attached.However, once you refresh this page it then works as expected. We have tried this in Chrome and Edge browsers but have the same response. Must be refreshed first.
Comments made when signing off Competencies
Hi there - I've just started trialling the onboarding, training and competencies functions of the Training Addon in ProMapp. I'm liking the concept, but am finding the records and areas a bit circular and lacking in detail.For example, I assigned a competency unit to a staff member; when I signed them off as competent, there was a text box for me to add comments and the option to attach a file. I attached a file and made comments. Now when I view that training record, there is an icon on that person's competency line, but no sign of my comments. If I click the competency name, it take me to that competency unit. If I click on the staff member's name within that competency unit, it takes me to their training record, of which each unit is just one line. Then clicking on the competency name loops me back around to the start.So where did my comments go, and how can I view/access them again?
Easy Way to Manage Process Creation Rights
Hi PromappersI am looking for a good way to limit process creation in our repository. What I want to do is have default users as read only, then have selected users with the ability to create processes. I don't want to grant BA or PM privileges to these users only the ability to create processes. I know I can switch the the setting so that only PM, BA and PC can create processes, but this then leaves me with having to add each user separately to each Process Group as a Process Champion when they need to have process creation rights to. Ideally I would like to do this via role allocation. Realistically I feel this should have been added as a privilege type so it can be managed at the user level but obviously we are limited to the 3 privileges that the developers have given us. Has anyone come up with a simple solution for this? Cheers
Process Status Differences
When running the Process List Report, I have noticed an In Progress status. What is the difference between In Progress and Unpublished? I thought it may have something to do with last modified date but there doesn't appear to be a consistent pattern and I cannot find anything in the help documentation that explains.
