Hi Sam - I continue to take the expert exam and continue to fail. There are questions that are worded poorly. For example, in this one there are really two right answers. Either could work just fine. There are other similar questions where the answers are open to interpretation. Any guidance on this? Is there any way to just find out what questions I’m getting wrong? Thank you
Hi All,As a Promaster, do we have an option to create a group that is visible only to restricted users defined at the group level? I do not want anyone else to know such a group exists on Process Manager (not even other promasters).I could not find any thing in Nintex help nor cannot find any option at group level.
When checking our Process Dashboard for new processes , following the selection of seen it to cleanse the listing , we have noticed further processes appearing as newly published but showing as at least a month old in age . Just wondered if this is normal behaviour or do we have a possible technical issue?
Hi,I’m developing an E2E process using a Group Process Overview and I am unable to select a system as a role for the linked process. Is this by design, i.e. you can only select roles/responsibilities in a process overview or is this a bug?My E2E includes processes that are fully automated and therefore the applicable system needs to be tagged as the role.ThanksTania
I just wondered if i can put forward a proposal to look at having an Unpublish feature for new published processes (those issued at 1.0) ? We have used the workarounds as indicated on another chat thread however change history is lost when using the copy into new process and upon deletion of the one to be unpublished.
Hi , i just wondered if there is any known reason why Processes wouldnt surface in search results ? We have some processes which dont appear to be surfacing and dont understand why. Both individuals searching also have promaster privileges . Thanks in advance
Hello,I’m trying to increase staff engagement to the processes in our organisation. For instance, the obvious mechanism seems to be by encouraging people to provide feedback and to ‘star rate’ processes. However, despite of several communications requesting this, there doesn’t seem to be much change, i.e. numbers in those ratios (Suggestions / feedback, star rating) are very low.I was thinking in perhaps creating a competition and a survey (prizes involved for both). However, I would be open for other suggestions please? Have you created a similar strategy for your organisations?I would be grateful with any contribution in this space. Thanks,Carlos
Is Nintex looking at changing the period in which reviews can be completed on documents and processes. This is causing a significant amount of frustration across users that want to tidy up document and process reviews but cannot do so until they reach that “8week” mark. If they cannot be reviewed until 8 weeks, why bother having them appear on the dashboard at 3months. This is cause a lot of noise and disengaged/frustrated people. Please Nintex do something about it!!
Does anyone have any advice relating to identifying links that are associated with unpublished processes? The Documents List and Linked Items and Web Link reports are useful but can be misleading as they don’t indicate if a link is associated with an unpublished process (or unpublished changes). For example, if you see an item with 0 attachments, no associated processes listed you’d think it isn't used in any processes but this is only true for published change. If the item is linked in an unpublished process (or unpublished changes) the report doesn't include this. Has anyone noticed this too? are there any recommended work-arounds? or is it impossible to tell without going through each unpublished process to see if a link may/may not be included?
Hi all We have a number of risks that are associated with multiple portfolios. Although staff in these portfolios are not all assigned as treatment sign off’s, the risk managers for these portfolios have the overdue treatments appear in their dashboards and have the ability to ‘sign off for all’. This is concerning as some may choose to do this to remove the notification although the treatment is not assigned to them. is there any way that these overdue treatments can be filtered from the dashboard view or have a ‘seen it’ option to remove from the list?
I keep getting the error message “One of more shared activities is missing from the process definition."This usually occurs when doing variations but I am unsure what is causing it and as such how to fix this issue aside from restarting the process.Any help is appreciated.
Has anyone else found embedding promapp content using the Iframe element on SharePoint takes ages to load?I’ve seen it take 20 seconds, some times around 30 seconds to display the content on the page.Is anyone else embedding process content on Sharepoint pages or have you attempted this and found the user experience isn’t great and resort to linking to processes? We’re seeing issues on pages with 3-4 elements embeded on the page, it feels like our expectations are way ahead of the system’s functionality.I’ve submitted trace logs to Nintex (Case number 00542486 if anyone is interested) and the local IT department but none have been able to explain why its taking so long.Keen to know if anyone else is attempting this and if they have any comments (good or bad!) before we decide to remove the processes from the pages! Thanks,Eddie
I’ve created an API key and am attempting to run queries using the Excel template.I can’t seem to filter the data in the way I want. For example, I just want to see level 1 and 2 process groups, but when I select these it doesn’t count any processes in their related child groups. Also, is it possible to report on processes with particular tags?
We have a situation when a PO no longer works for the business. We have transferred Process Ownership to the new Owner , however there was an indicator on some of the processes that changes were underway and these changes would be published. We ringfenced these and recommended the ownership was changed manually so the new Owner gets sight of these changes. However now the processes have entered the approval workflow its reverting back to the previous owner and not the new owner. Can someone advise if there is a way to override to the new owner who needs sighting of the changes for approval. Thanks
I have created an Improvement Portfolio by mistake - can anyone tell me how I delete this portfolio please? Also, does anyone know if you can copy a current portfolio as the fields are similar and rather than redo another portfolio, just rename a copied version of a current portfolio. Thanks
