How to loop "Start a process task"?

Hi,I have a workflow that sends tasks to 3 people (start a task process) and the options that are available when the the 3 receive are “ Accept” and “Reassign”.I want to be able to restart the task process if someone chose the reassign task…I tried using the loop w/ condition and stuck the “Start a task process” in it but the “Start a task process” doesn’t execute. The loop w/ condition is “ If Reassign Task is selected”, but I believe this means the “Start a task process: won’t execute until “Reassign Task” is chosen.. I don’t think I’m using this correctly…help? Thanks

Need to remove extra characters from calculated value

I am using a calculated value to populate the name from another sharepoint list. It returns the name but with the prefix “6;#” so how do i get rid of that?  lookup("siteURL|Workflow Configuration List", "Title", "Advansys Manager", "Person")

Disable Edit option after form is submitted

Is it possible to disable or hide the “Edit” option when you click to go into the form after a user submits?I want to make sure no one is able to edit the form after it has been submitted. If there is any other way to handle it please share! Thanks!

List Look up dropdown selections from Nintex form show as text boxes on Assign a task form

List Look up dropdown selections from Nintex form show as text boxes on Assign a task form.  If I add a list look up again on the task form it does not carry show what the person selected on the original nintex form even though it is connected to the same column in list.  The dropdowns go back to ‘Please select’.  How do I get them to point to the value in the dropdown that is saved to the list?Start Form:Task Form:TIA

Restarting a failed workflow in specific State

I have a workflow with a State Machine in it which i want to be able to restart in a different state in the state machine. (An instance when this would be needed is if a user sends the workflow to the wrong step, or if the workflow errors and needs to be restarted without going through all the steps it has already gone through.)I am using a secondary workflow which has 3 actions in it,Terminate Workflow Instances, which stops the current workflow Update List Item, which is adds the State chosen in a variable with Initiation set to Yes, this should choose the state in which the workflow starts in. Variable to specify restart positionVariable Initiation Options  Start Workflow, to restart the workflow, hopefully in the state chosen previously.The workflow works almost as intended, it stops the workflow and sets the state to restart in, and then restarts the workflow, but does not start it in the chosen state.Someone who previously built a workflow on our site built this exact workflow a

Add HTML and CSS to New Responsive Form

The new responsive forms can be cumbersome at times. It is locked down, and very little control is allowed over the layout. I always believe I can bring a bigger hammer to the party and make it work. Once I brought Mjölnir along, I figured out how to add CSS to the form and build better email messages using HTML and CSS using rules and variables. So, I am guessing you are wondering how I can apply styles to the form. This happened to me by accident. While I was trying to figure out how to create an HTML email, I applied some of these techniques to the form styles and noticed changes. I do not recommend trying to apply styles to the entire form, but minor tweaks have helped greatly with form and function. Let me start by explaining my email body. This can all be achieved through the workflow, but if you have ever tried this, it is a nightmare and not easy to manage. Nintex O365 DocGen: Table in Excel only returns first row

Gang, I’m about to lose my mind. I have an existing O365 workflow with a DocGen that creates an Excel file with a table using the row as the repeater. The production one works like a charm. Now I’m busy with a new build on the Dev site where I’ve basically rebuilt the prod workflow from the ground up, adding some new stuff, cleaning up performance issues, etc. The DocGen function on Dev uses the same template as the one on prod (as in, I downloaded it from Prod and uploaded it to Dev exactly as it), it’s using the same data to populate the collections, the collections themselves are returning the same data, but the DocGen on Dev (which, as I already said, is using literally the same template as Prod) only generates the first row of the table. I can’t see anything else in the knowledge base that describes this exact problem, so please, please, please tell me someone else here has run into this before.

Get an item from dictionary with the look up field in the original collection

Hi, Below is a sample of my collection returned in the Query list option in Nintex for Office 365. I am now looping through these items and trying to get the value of Title in the Tool array. What is the item path value  in get item from dictionary action? I tried various paths but nothing is working. I tried Tool(0)/Title but it doesn’t work. Please help.

What happens to the Nintex forms after Nintex subscription expires?

I understand what happens to the workflows when the Nintex license expires. I also understand that forms cannot be edited and published.However, can a form still be opened from the SharePoint list to view the original input data and any documents that were updated to the form? From an auditor standpoint, we still need access to look at a form and its original data. Thank you.

Hi, I am trying to create a form where the minimum attachment is based on the amount of rows in a repeating table where a field is equal to true

within a repeating section I have a field titled evidence which is a yes or no choice. I am trying to come up with a solution where if there is 5 rows in a repeating section and 2 of those rows have the evidence field set to yes then the minimum attachments should be 2.I assume I might need to use JavaScript.

Created new responsive form but in Library there is no option to access the newly published form?

I decided to rebuild my forms and workflows on a library rather than a list (if there are issues with that let me know), but in doing so I noticed the new NEW responsive forms were out so I gave it a whirl....   I published the new form and when I go back to the library I see an option to add all kinds of documents EXCEPT the published form.  Is there something I am missing?    Note: New Responsive forms do work on a list.

Within NAC workflow :: toUpper, toLower

GreetingsWithin previous iterations of the workflow product, there have been functions available to uppercase or lowercase text. I do not find such functions or actions within the NAC workflow product.Until I can identify how to access such, I built component workflows utilizing regular expressions to accomplish such functions/actions.

Default value for multi-select choice column (checkboxes)?

I have a choice field that allows multiple selections (checkboxes). It does not present me with a Default Value option and I cannot set the value as a Rule. In my SharePoint column itself, I have the default value set but it will not apply to the form.   Is there any way to give a multi-select choice field a default value?

Print View in Nintex for Office365 Classic Form

Hey there! We migrated a Nintex for SharePoint OnPremise Classic form into our SharePoint Online Cloud with Nintex for Office365 forms via ShareGate. While everything worked fine, we are currently struggling with the Print view.The form, while digital, needs to be printed at some point. In the old world we used CSS and JS to solve this issue, so that the form could be printed without any Nintex/O365 navbars and/or ribbons.In the Cloud this doesn’t work anymore and we have a hard time to get this working again.I already contacted the Nintex support, but of course they said it's custom code and so doesn't fall under their support. Does anybode know of a best practice way to get a Nintex for Office365 Classic Form into a printable version? CSS/Javascript Combination?Thanks and kind regards!Tim

Display value as H:MM

I am trying to recreate a Excel calculation in a Nintex Responsive form which converts a a value to H:MM.In Excel we use =TEST(L24/24,”[h]:mm” to show the results of L24 as Hours and Minutes.How can I recreate that in Nintex Response Form Designer?. I have tried all the convert to options without success!

HI,I need to check that the current date is between 2 dates in a last (start date and To date)I have tried the usual if greater than or equal and less than or equal but nothing works the query always returns no resultsAnyone know how to do this?

Unable to connect any rules to form submit button (action panel) in New responsive Nintex form 0365

Hi ,I have added some rules to my Nintex form under submit rules.If these rules are violated , form should not get submitted .But in new responsive nintex form , even with failed validation entries are getting submitted .I am seeing error message but if submit is pressed, values get inserted.How to control this.Please suggest

Is lookup() function supporting for cross site now?

I'm trying to use the lookup() function to access a list from a different site.I'm tried to use lookup("/sites/bbb|listName", "Title","xxx","Title")  in site ("/sites/aaa/xxx"), and I got #Value!I got a error message: [/sites/bbb|listName-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] - A request for SharePoint data failed. Nintex Novice - I have a parallel block, what next?

I am a nintex novice (IE not technical) but I am trying to build out a workflow for my form with multiple status updates.  The form will be submitted by a team member.I have a parallel block that is working.  After I review the form I have 2 status update options (either rejected or pending).  Each option will trigger an email.  This part is working.After the pending step - i have one option.  it is essentially a 2nd pending step but with an additional piece of information.  How do i move into this action and have it trigger the email to the initiator?After the above item is updated - I have 2 options (action required or final approval).  How do i move into these steps to trigger the appropriate emails?
