I've just started the workflow designer and got this error message in a red highlighted banner on the top of the workspace: Error connecting to the workflow manager. Would it be possible that because it's in a private channel, sharepoint site? Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?
Hi,I am using a Nintex form for O365 and have a rule that “when a certain field is filled” a few other fields are populated with values with the use of web requests. The fields populate as they should and display in “display mode” but when I go into “edit mode” my values disappear! The value does get captured and I see it in the column, it just doesn’t display when I open in edit mode…I have been going at this for hours, days and weeks and cannot get this to work. Please help? Here is my form in “Display mode (once submitted): Here are my rules ( the label in each field is the web request): When I turn off this rule everything displays as it should but when I turn it back on, the values in those fields disappear. I’ve tried so many ways to try and get the values to appear and had it at one point but knew it wasn’t correct because it flickered quite a bit when the value appeared.
I have a Sharepoint List, that contains several Content Types, each with a corresponding Nintex Form. The process is that when Form 1 is submitted, Form 2 is activated => submitted, then Form 3 and so on.All these forms are saved in their respective columns “Filled Form X”. In Form 1, I have some controls that are not connected to any sharepoint column - as I only want to store the information within the form and not in any columns (especially to prevent exceeding maximum size of the columns in a list). When Form 1 is submitted and I go into the form - the input/ data provided to the different controls that are not connected to any column will still be there. BUT, when Form 2 is submitted - the information at Form 1 will be gone. I am using ‘New Responsive Designer’ Questions:Is there some way of prevent this leakage in information happening? If I do not add a column to connect to the control, how will it be saved? - Maybe good to know this, so I can understand what the problem is
Hi! I want to lookup information from a Sharepoint list in Nintex Forms. I am using the ‘List Lookup’ form control. The problem is that I want to filter based on two columns, and it seems that the ‘New Responsive Designer’ only makes it possible to filter on one. Are there some workaround to be able to achieve my objectives?
The Save button seems to submit the form on my SharePoint list and triggers the submit flow. How do I let the user save the form but not have it initiate the submit power automate workflow. I have attached pictures of the options I have available in the Nintex form under the save and submit action panel.
I have a site workflow with a variable defined as [Initiation]=Yes. When I manually run the workflow, I am prompted for the value of the variable, and everything runs fine. However, I’d like to pass this variable into a scheduled workflow. Is that possible? The variable will change depending on the date/time of its run which will be controlled by the schedule.
Hello,I have a Nintex O365 Site workflow that queries several Workflow Task lists with a filter [Task Status] is equal to “Completed” using Query List. For each list, I loop through the collection, capture the ID and delete the corresponding item. This workflow is working fine. However, since we have so many tasks, it takes hours to run. Is there a more efficient/faster way to handle this?Thank you.
Hi, I currently have nintex mobile forms setup for audit purposes. In these there is the ability to capture photograhs. These forms are being sent into sharepoint for all central parties to see. When viewing the forms there is the ability to click onto the attacments for which open in the same window which means a lot of clicking back and forth and reloading of the browser. Is there a way I can set these attacments to open in a new window to avoid this pain? Thanks

FormThen, below is the external list I need to compare the “Organization” selection to The “Title”. External List If the selection from the “Organization” field is Angola, then I need for the title of “ANG Books” to populate the field below (Set of Books)… FormMy current syntax is:lookup("_SetOfBooks","Organization",parseLookup([Form].[Title]),"Title")lookup(“External List name”, Column in external list name named “Organization”,parseLookup(Title column in external list), Title column in external list
In the ‘New Responsible Forms designer’, is it possible to remove vertical padding. For instance, if I want to have two fields of ‘Text - Short’ stacked vertically - it will be too long distance between the fields. Is there some way this can be fixed?
We have a list lookup working well, but if the name of the value retrieved is changed in the child, then the parent list form shows a blank value until the new name is selected manually. Is there a way to update child list values and ensure the parent form is not impacted.
Hi guys, I need your help for a list workflow in SharePoint Online which is able to query a folder with a unique name inside a library, which shouldn't have any subfolders, only documents in it. As result I would like to have all the documents (URLs of those documents in a collection variable would work) which are in the subfolder "XYZ". Can anybody help me out with this?
In Chrome Privacy and security settings, I tried adding [*.]formso365.nintex.com under Customized behaviors to allow to use third-party cookies, but I still receive the “an error occurred. Contact your site administrator to update the app” message. Is there a different URL I should be using to allow 3rd party cookies just for Nintex forms and/or SharePoint online?
Hi. I am using Nintex O365. When I enter HTML directly into the body of an email, to create a table, it works fine (see IMAGE 1 below). When I copy/paste the exact same HTML into a text variable and use the variable in the body of the email, the spacing is off (see image 2). I use a Build String to create the HTML into the variable. The HTML is shown below the 2 images. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix this?IMAGE 1 IMAGE 2: HTML<p> </p><table border="1" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1" style="width:650px;"> <tbody> <tr> <td colspan="3" style="text-align:center;background-color:Gainsboro;"><strong>Weekly EForms Summary</strong></td></tr><tr> <td style="text-align:center;"><strong>Task Name</strong></td><td style="text-align:center;"><strong>Assigned To</strong></td><td style="text-align:center;"><strong>Date and Time</strong&g
I’ve got a list in SharePoint online on which I have developed a New Responsive form to use. One of the list columns is type “Multiple Lines of Text” with the “Append Changes to Existing Text” option set to Yes.I also have a Nintex Automation Cloud workflow that runs when a new item is created in this SharePoint online list. One of the workflow actions assigns a task with a task form. On the task form is a Comments field of type “Text - Long”. After the task is completed, I want the workflow to update the Comments column in the list and display all the appended comments.Right now, the workflow just seems to overwrite the Comments column. I was hoping the Comments field on the form would show the itemized list of comments on the form. Anyone know if this is possible using the New Responsive designer?
I am using the Nintex Responsive Forms with SharePoint 0365. I have a form, where the user enters some data which goes to a SharePoint List and also triggers a workflow and assigned to the Manager for Approval. The user should not be able to come back and edit the form. Even though the user has view only rights for the item in SharePoint, the user is able to open form in edit mode. I want to disable the Submit button in Edit Mode, am unable to do this with Rules as the only parameter we can update is the Submit button text. I can disable all the input fields, but Submit button is still enabled. Any Suggestions? Cheers, Sujith
I need some help with regular expressions on Nintex Forms for Office 365 for a SharePoint Online list, not a library. Criteria for the list text field that is read only. We will make users rename file in library. This field is pulling the name from the associated file in the library. Can only start with numbers or “CUI “. This includes the space on CUI label. I got things where I need for the “starts with” using two variable and it will double check if this field starts with “CUI “ if the letter “c” or “C” is in the text on validation. Now I need to resolve the other issue, it can only have numbers or the letter “c” before the extension on the name. Examples of file names that are acceptable:2020-1.pdf 2022-150.docx CUI 2023-12.xlsxMy current pattern and combination with my variables and validation rules work fine. However, if I enter CUI a2023-12.pdf in text field the system allows it. I need to only allow “CUI “ (with the space) and numbers only before the “.pdf” in the text field.
Hi -I am looking for some advice / guidance on how to configure the Nintex 365 Forms Webpart -I am specifically looking to embed the form on a Sharepoint page - so that when a item is selected from a SP list, the form opens on the page and displays the relevant item. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I have a Nintex form that is using appended text, but after it’s submitted the form only shows the appended text as: The comments are stored in a SharePoint list:the settings for the column are as follows: I can see that the comments are being stored, when I open the list item:I tried adding the comments to the default value on the nintex form, but that wasnt getting me anywhere. I’m not sure if I would have to create a separate workflow to add these comments back in or if there is some formatting i could do? Either way, this is currently where I’m at: Like i said, this obviously didnt help the situation and I’m open to ideas.
I have a classic 365 form where i am using the label column to present a link. To build that link i was to apply a reference but there appears no option to select any of the forms references and use them in the hyperlink string. Any ideas?
I am creating a form (Sharepoint list > Nintex Forms > New Responsive designer), and then I add a default value to some field. Thereafter: saving and publishing the form. When I open a new form of this type, then the default value will not appear in the field. Why is that?I thought that a default value should appear there if nothing else is provided.
