Hiding Ribbon on Responsive Forms

Hi there, Our business is working on migrating forms from the classic 365 forms to the new responsive forms on Nintex Cloud and would like to know if we can either hide this entire ribbon or selected options from this ribbon that appears at the top of responsive forms:  Our set up does not allow staff to edit forms after submission, and our data retention does not permit deletion either, so these two buttons need to go.  Interestingly, there’s an option to hide the print button in the form settings, but I guess edit and delete didn’t make the cut to receive their own buttons:  Any advice is much appreciated!

Workflow - Create .ps1 file to document library by "Web Request" action didn't work

I tried to create .ps1 file to document library by "Web Request" action but it didn't work.May I know what’s wrong with my workflow? Can you share a list item with external users, if the list has a Nintex Form associated with it?

Hi,I’m trying to share a list item with external users, but an ‘Anyone’ guest link doesn’t work if the list has a Nintex Form associated with it. Delete the form and there are no issues, but with the form, an external anonymous guest link doesn’t work and prompts for credentials.Does anyone know if there’s a workaround for this?Thanks.

Dealing with repeating sections when upgrading Classic to New Responsive forms

I have been working through some archived forms lists in our SharePoint tenant. The Nintex forms are all in the Classic format. I have successfully upgraded most of them to the new responsive style, but I have encountered problems with one form that uses a repeating section.As we know, the various controls within the repeater cannot be connected to columns, since the repeating section can only output into a single multi-line column as XML. The columns and their values are referenced in the XML schema as elements. In my case, the repeating sections contains text, date, number, Boolean, and the old calculated value fields. It took me a long time to develop the Classic form, but now I need to convert it before we lose access to the old designer.The problems I am facing are that the upgrade process results in a form that is quite seriously broken. Cloud Nintex form with On-Prem WebService

I’m trying to use a Cloud Nintex Form(office 365 sharepoint) to retrieve data from an on-prem web service or REST API and display it in a form text box. When the user enters an ID, I need to immediately fetch and display information related to that ID in real time, before the form is submitted. Since this has to happen before submission, I can’t use a workflow — I need to call the on-prem service directly from the form.I’ve confirmed that I can use Cloud Actions like Web Request to get data from open (public) web services. However, it doesn’t seem possible to access on-prem services this way. I considered using a secure key, but while it looks like that might have worked in older Nintex Forms with JavaScript, it seems difficult or impossible in Cloud Nintex Forms.I’ve heard suggestions to use an Azure Function as a middle layer, but setting that up and managing the request process takes too much time.Do you have any good ideas or alternative solutions for this?Let me know if you want m

Lookup List control selection works in New mode but disappears when submitted form is opened in display or edit mode

I have a form with a lookup list control that populates “Location” drop down list choices. I then use a rule and variables to also pull in the Location’s associated “Area” and “District” values. Location is a list lookup controlArea and District are text short controls.All 3 associated sharepoint list columns are single line of text.Everything works fine in New mode, but if I open up a submitted form the “Location” lookup value disappears. Multiple pages to print a form

Hello,I was asked by a user if a form can somehow be shortened to 1-2 pages when printing out...there are multiple breaks in the page but is there some work around that can trim the number of pages?I saw someone’s comment in the forum on using firefox, is this a good work around? Thanks!

Nintex O365 Workflow Email hyperlink value

I have a Workflow that has 15 paths that a Nintex form can travel down and an email is configured for each path and i want to see the configuration behind the link field to make sure all 15 paths have the same value.is there a way to display the field value behind the link.All i seem to be able to do is replace the link rather than view and edit the linked field

Start a Task Process - How to edit Lazy Approval Email?

Hello Nintex community. I’m using start a task process to send lazy approval emails to specific people for them to approve/reject a form. My question are the following:How do I get rid of the weird text on the email title highlighted in yellow in the picture? How do I change the title of the current item URL highlighted in green? How do I change the links highlighted in purple? Those links do not go to the URL that the links says to view at.I cannot find how to do any of these. I only see a checkbox for Lazy Approval.I also found out that if I don’t use Lazy Approval, then the email confirmation of the form being approved will not send to the initiator. I have no idea how to fix that so that I don’t have to use Lazy Approvals.Any feedback will be appreciated. thank you.

Nintex Office 365 set drop-down value in a rule

I am using new responsive forms in SharePoint online. I want to set the value of the dropdown based on another field. There seems to be no way to set the value. Has anyone accomplished this?

Nintex Forms O365 UserProfileLookup broken

For some reason, sometime in the past few months, the UserProfileLookup function in Nintex Forms for O365 has stopped working completely. I have noticed that lookup funcitons that used to return values in people fields stopped working too. This is extremely frustrating - I suddenly have functions that used to work in production forms failing all over the place because of this and I HAVE GOT TO get to the bottom of this as soon as humanly possible.To reproduce UserProfileLookup issue: (1) create a SharePoint list that includes a people field. (2) Create a new responsive designer form for that list and display the people field. (3) create a variable that does a user profile lookup against that people field and display the value in a label. To reproduce lookup issue: (1) create a second sharepoint list and add a few text fields, plus a people field. (2) Create a lookup field on list 1’s form that links to list 2. (3) Create a lookup variable that returns a field value from the lookup list

Assign a task process not working after approving nintex form

This is a screenshot of part of my workflow. I get an email for a pending for approval at the start of the task process but after approving the workflow doesn’t work to send that last email to notify that the form has been approved. Is it the variables that I set under approval that doesn’t make this work or is the “start a task process” action itself that is not working? I’m very new at this.

Circular reference detected. Aborting..

We have a Nintex form with more than 80+ calculated columns and multiple repeated sections. one of the repeating section has more than 15 columns and data populated from SharePoint list and calculated the rest of the columns. when we add more than one item in section C, we faced the circular reference issue. Could any one help to provide how to fix this issue.

Hiding a field based on SharePoint Group in new responsive form designer

I am creating a new Nintex for O365 form in the new responsive form designer. I have a need to hide/disable a field unless the user is in a specific SharePoint Group. This was available in the classic form designer and in the old responsive form designer, but I cannot find it in the new responsive form designer. Is this feature available? If so, where can it be found?

How do I preserve data on forms not connected to SPO list field?Does anyone know what the “Non connected control” does? Is this for something else? I don’t understand what this feature does or if it relates to my above question?

Separating a lazy approval and it's comment

I am using lazy approval on a task. I have it set to capture “Comments including task metadata”.  This is what it looks like:Monserrate, Tony (Approved) 2/11/2025 9:25:38 AM - 2/11/2025 9:26:52 AM - [800459] I need to be able to grab that 800459 and put it in a variable so I can update it to a SharePoint column.

Nintex List Forms Online Web Part for New Responsive Forms

Hello,Per Microsoft’s announcement on retiring the SharePoint Add-Ins, the Nintex classic forms are transformed to New Responsive Forms.  Some users might have used the Nintex List Forms Online web part on SharePoint pages to show their SharePoint list form.  Post conversion of classic form to new responsive form, the Nintex List Forms Online web part does not show the New Responsive form, and it still points to the classic form.  As of now there is no compatible web part available to show the New Responsive web part and Nintex has posted an idea for voting here.The alternative is to use the Embed web part on SharePoint online site pages. Enter the New Form url as https://yourorgname.sharepoint.com/Lists/ListName/NewForm.aspx (replace the letters in bold with your org name and list name).You can also use the iframe tag in within the Embed web part as shown below, adjust the height and width per your needs.<iframe src="https://yourorgname.sharepoint.com/Lists/ListName/NewForm.aspx" h

How to apply changes to a title?

Hello, So I  have a nintex 365 responsive form that works with a NAC workflow. I need to be able to update the title (LEAF Tracking No) if it happens to change after the form has been submitted but see the issue is that the ID needs to be apart of it and the ID doesn’t happen until the form is submitted and the workflow fires off.Every time someone selects something different in the “Lessee” field, it updates the LEAF Tracking No field. You can see in the examples below…I tried concating the part that contains “LA-25-0028” with the ID in a separate sharepoint column to see if I can get the full title “LA-25-0028-ID#” but it doesn’t always display fully in the field.I think I have the formula right for the column in SP? Is that one way to update the field I am trying to update (if any changes occur after form submission)?SP column formula: =CONCATENATE([Title Value],"-",ID)

Is there any way to adjust the layout of the form in print mode?  The form looks great but as soon as I click on the print button the two column form becomes one column and a very long form

Problem setting Nintex form for New Item - Since Microsoft Forms integration with SharePoint Online

I have uncovered a strange problem to do with the new item button on SharePoint lists (now in the Microsoft Lists view format). This Microsoft feature release has also caused other issues with list views using JSON customisations, but until recently, nothing has caused issues with the core functionality.So, what has happened is that I have created a new blank list, enabled management of content types and assigned a site content type to it. Set-up the view and tested. All good. Now, I usually then go back to the settings of the list and hide the default ‘Item’ list content type or just delete it from the list.My added site content type will be the basis for a form, so I launch the Nintex Forms app and choose my content type, make some small edits to the layout and save/publish it. Then I usually go to the new item button and expect to see the Nintex form open for input in New mode. However, now this is not happening. Instead, I get the default SharePoint list form for the default ‘Item’
