Nintex for Office 365

It looks like Nintex update the signature control for Nintex Cloud forms to this :) Does anyone know if the SharePoint online control will be updated?  

Hi, I’m using a Nintex responsive form within SharePoint and would like to know how to go about displaying certain items pulling from an external list within the form.I have a dropdown that pulls values from an external list but displays like below… I don’t want to see the items that have a red X by it.Is it possible to apply something here to prevent from displaying? I’ve tried applying a few things but I can’t get anything to display. 

Hi, I am trying to round an amount within Nintex responsive forms. I currently have an web request field that outputs the amount of  $4.32905 but need to be able to round and see $4.33 instead.I used the following function below but get 4. Am I missing something?Formula:round(convertToNumber([Form].[Cost Web request].[Label],2))

Hi, I am coming across an issue when trying to input a number value without the decimal or commas. I have tried researching to see if anyone previously had this issue but no luck. Can someone direct me on how to remove this? Thanks

Hi there, Our business is working on migrating forms from the classic 365 forms to the new responsive forms on Nintex Cloud and would like to know if we can either hide this entire ribbon or selected options from this ribbon that appears at the top of responsive forms:  Our set up does not allow staff to edit forms after submission, and our data retention does not permit deletion either, so these two buttons need to go.  Interestingly, there’s an option to hide the print button in the form settings, but I guess edit and delete didn’t make the cut to receive their own buttons:  Any advice is much appreciated!

Hi,I’m trying to share a list item with external users, but an ‘Anyone’ guest link doesn’t work if the list has a Nintex Form associated with it. Delete the form and there are no issues, but with the form, an external anonymous guest link doesn’t work and prompts for credentials.Does anyone know if there’s a workaround for this?Thanks.

Has anyone figured out how to add a line break using Regex in O365? Enter, [ ], all don't work.

I have been working through some archived forms lists in our SharePoint tenant. The Nintex forms are all in the Classic format. I have successfully upgraded most of them to the new responsive style, but I have encountered problems with one form that uses a repeating section.As we know, the various controls within the repeater cannot be connected to columns, since the repeating section can only output into a single multi-line column as XML. The columns and their values are referenced in the XML schema as elements. In my case, the repeating sections contains text, date, number, Boolean, and the old calculated value fields. It took me a long time to develop the Classic form, but now I need to convert it before we lose access to the old designer.The problems I am facing are that the upgrade process results in a form that is quite seriously broken. I’m trying to use a Cloud Nintex Form(office 365 sharepoint) to retrieve data from an on-prem web service or REST API and display it in a form text box. When the user enters an ID, I need to immediately fetch and display information related to that ID in real time, before the form is submitted. Since this has to happen before submission, I can’t use a workflow — I need to call the on-prem service directly from the form.I’ve confirmed that I can use Cloud Actions like Web Request to get data from open (public) web services. However, it doesn’t seem possible to access on-prem services this way. I considered using a secure key, but while it looks like that might have worked in older Nintex Forms with JavaScript, it seems difficult or impossible in Cloud Nintex Forms.I’ve heard suggestions to use an Azure Function as a middle layer, but setting that up and managing the request process takes too much time.Do you have any good ideas or alternative solutions f

I have a form with a lookup list control that populates “Location” drop down list choices. I then use a rule and variables to also pull in the Location’s associated “Area” and “District” values. Location is a list lookup controlArea and District are text short controls.All 3 associated sharepoint list columns are single line of text.Everything works fine in New mode, but if I open up a submitted form the “Location” lookup value disappears. Hello,I was asked by a user if a form can somehow be shortened to 1-2 pages when printing out...there are multiple breaks in the page but is there some work around that can trim the number of pages?I saw someone’s comment in the forum on using firefox, is this a good work around? Thanks!

I have a Workflow that has 15 paths that a Nintex form can travel down and an email is configured for each path and i want to see the configuration behind the link field to make sure all 15 paths have the same value.is there a way to display the field value behind the link.All i seem to be able to do is replace the link rather than view and edit the linked field

How can send a hyperlink of item list in simple email workflow

Hello Nintex community. I’m using start a task process to send lazy approval emails to specific people for them to approve/reject a form. My question are the following:How do I get rid of the weird text on the email title highlighted in yellow in the picture? How do I change the title of the current item URL highlighted in green? How do I change the links highlighted in purple? Those links do not go to the URL that the links says to view at.I cannot find how to do any of these. I only see a checkbox for Lazy Approval.I also found out that if I don’t use Lazy Approval, then the email confirmation of the form being approved will not send to the initiator. I have no idea how to fix that so that I don’t have to use Lazy Approvals.Any feedback will be appreciated. thank you.

I am using new responsive forms in SharePoint online. I want to set the value of the dropdown based on another field. There seems to be no way to set the value. Has anyone accomplished this?

For some reason, sometime in the past few months, the UserProfileLookup function in Nintex Forms for O365 has stopped working completely. I have noticed that lookup funcitons that used to return values in people fields stopped working too. This is extremely frustrating - I suddenly have functions that used to work in production forms failing all over the place because of this and I HAVE GOT TO get to the bottom of this as soon as humanly possible.To reproduce UserProfileLookup issue: (1) create a SharePoint list that includes a people field. (2) Create a new responsive designer form for that list and display the people field. (3) create a variable that does a user profile lookup against that people field and display the value in a label. To reproduce lookup issue: (1) create a second sharepoint list and add a few text fields, plus a people field. (2) Create a lookup field on list 1’s form that links to list 2. (3) Create a lookup variable that returns a field value fro

This is a screenshot of part of my workflow. I get an email for a pending for approval at the start of the task process but after approving the workflow doesn’t work to send that last email to notify that the form has been approved. Is it the variables that I set under approval that doesn’t make this work or is the “start a task process” action itself that is not working? I’m very new at this.

We have a Nintex form with more than 80+ calculated columns and multiple repeated sections. one of the repeating section has more than 15 columns and data populated from SharePoint list and calculated the rest of the columns. when we add more than one item in section C, we faced the circular reference issue. Could any one help to provide how to fix this issue.

I am creating a new Nintex for O365 form in the new responsive form designer. I have a need to hide/disable a field unless the user is in a specific SharePoint Group. This was available in the classic form designer and in the old responsive form designer, but I cannot find it in the new responsive form designer. Is this feature available? If so, where can it be found?

How do I preserve data on forms not connected to SPO list field?Does anyone know what the “Non connected control” does? Is this for something else? I don’t understand what this feature does or if it relates to my above question? 

I am using lazy approval on a task. I have it set to capture “Comments including task metadata”.  This is what it looks like:Monserrate, Tony (Approved) 2/11/2025 9:25:38 AM - 2/11/2025 9:26:52 AM - [800459] I need to be able to grab that 800459 and put it in a variable so I can update it to a SharePoint column.
