Auto-populate a field based off another field selection

Hello,I need to auto-populate a field based off another field selection and can’t seem to get the syntax right. I am using an external list where I will need to compare my selection to…This is the form where the user will first select the “Organization” (Angola in this case). FormThen, below is the external list I need to compare the “Organization” selection to The “Title”. Remove padding vertical padding in field 'Short text'

In the ‘New Responsible Forms designer’, is it possible to remove vertical padding. For instance, if I want to have two fields of ‘Text - Short’ stacked vertically - it will be too long distance between the fields. Is there some way this can be fixed?

Allowing 3rd party cookies in Chrome for Nintex forms

In Chrome Privacy and security settings, I tried adding [*.]formso365.nintex.com under Customized behaviors to allow to use third-party cookies, but I still receive the “an error occurred. Contact your site administrator to update the app” message. Is there a different URL I should be using to allow 3rd party cookies just for Nintex forms and/or SharePoint online?

Nintex O365 Email HTML Table does not space correctly when the HTML is in a variable

Hi. I am using Nintex O365. When I enter HTML directly into the body of an email, to create a table, it works fine (see IMAGE 1 below). When I copy/paste the exact same HTML into a text variable and use the variable in the body of the email, the spacing is off (see image 2). I use a Build String to create the HTML into the variable. The HTML is shown below the 2 images. Displaying Appended Text in Multiple Lines of Text Field on New Responsive Form

I’ve got a list in SharePoint online on which I have developed a New Responsive form to use. One of the list columns is type “Multiple Lines of Text” with the “Append Changes to Existing Text” option set to Yes.I also have a Nintex Automation Cloud workflow that runs when a new item is created in this SharePoint online list. One of the workflow actions assigns a task with a task form. On the task form is a Comments field of type “Text - Long”. After the task is completed, I want the workflow to update the Comments column in the list and display all the appended comments.Right now, the workflow just seems to overwrite the Comments column. I was hoping the Comments field on the form would show the itemized list of comments on the form. Anyone know if this is possible using the New Responsive designer?

Disable Submit button on Edit Mode

I am using the Nintex Responsive Forms with SharePoint 0365. I have a form, where the user enters some data which goes to a SharePoint List and also triggers a workflow and assigned to the Manager for Approval. The user should not be able to come back and edit the form. Even though the user has view only rights for the item in SharePoint, the user is able to open form in edit mode. I want to disable the Submit button in Edit Mode, am unable to do this with Rules as the only parameter we can update is the Submit button text. I can disable all the input fields, but Submit button is still enabled. Any Suggestions? Cheers, Sujith

Regular expression - only numbers and the letter "c" before...

I need some help with regular expressions on Nintex Forms for Office 365 for a SharePoint Online list, not a library. Criteria for the list text field that is read only. We will make users rename file in library. This field is pulling the name from the associated file in the library. Can only start with numbers or “CUI “. This includes the space on CUI label. I got things where I need for the “starts with” using two variable and it will double check if this field starts with “CUI “ if the letter “c” or “C” is in the text on validation. Now I need to resolve the other issue, it can only have numbers or the letter “c” before the extension on the name. Examples of file names that are acceptable:2020-1.pdf 2022-150.docx CUI 2023-12.xlsxMy current pattern and combination with my variables and validation rules work fine. However, if I enter CUI a2023-12.pdf in text field the system allows it. I need to only allow “CUI “ (with the space) and numbers only before the “.pdf” in the text field.

Nintex 365 Forms Webpart - how to embed a display form on a SharePoint page

Hi -I am looking for some advice / guidance on how to configure the Nintex 365 Forms Webpart -I am specifically looking to embed the form on a Sharepoint page - so that when a item is selected from a SP list, the form opens on the page and displays the relevant item. How to show appended text in a multiline field on a Nintex form after it's been submitted

I have a Nintex form that is using appended text, but after it’s submitted the form only shows the appended text as: The comments are stored in a SharePoint list:the settings for the column are as follows: I can see that the comments are being stored, when I open the list item:I tried adding the comments to the default value on the nintex form, but that wasnt getting me anywhere. I’m not sure if I would have to create a separate workflow to add these comments back in or if there is some formatting i could do? Either way, this is currently where I’m at: Like i said, this obviously didnt help the situation and I’m open to ideas.

Nintex 365 Form - label hyperlink unable to apply a reference

I have a classic 365 form where i am using the label column to present a link. To build that link i was to apply a reference but there appears no option to select any of the forms references and use them in the hyperlink string. Any ideas?

Default value doesn't work for Nintex Forms: 'New Responsive Designer'

I am creating a form (Sharepoint list > Nintex Forms > New Responsive designer), and then I add a default value to some field. Thereafter: saving and publishing the form. When I open a new form of this type, then the default value will not appear in the field. Why is that?I thought that a default value should appear there if nothing else is provided.

Nintex 365 Responsive list lookup displays ID instead of value

I have a form with a list lookup element.When connecting it to the correct list and sharpoint online column everything works as intended.I can select streetnames from the form’s dropdown. But after submitting its displaying the corresponding ID number of the streetname of the list, instead of the streetname itself. When opening the sharepoint list item the streetname is visible.When pulling the item from the list using PowerAutomate the streetname is also visible.When intervening using PowerAutomate to create an item using the same list and bypassing the Nintex form the streetname is also visible. What is happening in the form that it’s passing the ID value instead of the streetname. I delete the control, published the form, readded the control and published again > no fixI deleted the sharepoint list and column, recreated those > no fixI created the sharepoint online views > no fixI’m clueless.

I have a choice form field in Nintex for O365, the choices are 5 budget approvers, it lists their first name and last name. The user selects their budget approver via radio button. How can I get the selected approvers name into an email? The approver needs to receive an email if selected. No problem if it was a People Picker. Thanks!

Nintex Workflow for Office 365 Retiring?

I've heard chirps about Nintex is due to no longer support Nintex Workflow for O365 in a few years. We have been instructed to start migrating our workflows to NWC soon to support this however NWC is not as compatible with SPO lists as we would have hoped as we started migrating workflows. Is this true or a misunderstanding? I'm praying it is not true.....

Trigger workflow to start when item is modified any time a Date form control is changed

How do you trigger a workflow to run anytime a Date control value changes? This could be changing from one date to a different date, or from a blank date to a filled in date.I believe this was possible to do in Nintex Workflow for SharePoint 2013 as it had a “compare to previous value” option you could select. In Nintex Workflow for O365 that option is not there for some reason. I have tried this simple approach shown in screenshot with no luck.Is there any way to pull this off? Any chance the “compare to previous value” option could be added to this version of Nintex?

What happened to the manual "other" option for multiple choice fields

I am not crazy, multiple choice fields with the allow multiple choices and add values manually use to work on Nintex forms. It would have an “other” option created by default. What happened to it? It is not available anymore. What am I missing?

Removing Time from DateTime variables

I have a pretty straightforward form that is inserting DateTime variables from a SharePoint list but whenever they print to email, the data always includes the time as well as the date - which is not something that was included, so it always shows up as “12:00:00 AM”. My list workflows are sending multiple emails to each user when triggered to send once

Hello.I have list workflows on several sites that trigger emails to one or two persons when item is created or changed. These have been working as expected since 2018. Yesterday, 4 different workflows on three different lists started sending 3-15 duplicates. When I check there is only one instance of the list workflow on the site, and the workflows only ran once for each list item.We are still using Microsoft workflow cloud. Has anyone seen this or know what I can do to stop the duplicate emails? Tyia.
