The main list item form works fine. But in my workflow, when anyone tries to complete a task in the task form, we get Object Reference not set to instance of an object when we try to submit the task. The form loads, we can use it, it's just when we go to save it. We have not changed our workflow in months, and this happened suddenly only a few days ago. When I look at the developer console, I get 500 (Internal Server Error) with reference to wus-srv-ufo.nintexo365.net/api/item?SPHostUrl=... Our workaround has been to go into the task list and change the status to completed there. That allows the workflow to move forward, but it's a pain. I've tried republishing the form and even recreating the task action and task form. Still get the same results.
Hi everyone, I have a weird calculation / displaying problem. I have a repeatingsection with a numberfield calculating a total value per row. So far so good. Below the repeating section are again two total fields (one for total net and one for total gross). Total net formula (Sumtotalnetto)= ifElse(SUM([Form].[repeatingsection].[LineTotal])<0,SUM([Form].[repeatingsection].[LineTotal])*(-1),SUM([Form].[repeatingsection].[LineTotal])) - to always get a positive value Total gross formula = [Form].[Sumtotalnetto]+([Form].[Sumtotalnetto]*([Form].[VAT]/100)) So now after filling 6 rows of the repeating section, the formcontrol of Total net shows the sum of all line totals but the last two. But for some reason the gross formula is correct, eventhough its calculating based on the Total nets variable. As the VAT rate is 0 Total net and gross should come to the exact same solution. So it seems like there is no calculation- but a displa
Is there any way to set a people field in a New Responsive form via a rule? Or any other workaround? I see in the Current Limitations link, this is a limitation, but it appears that the current limitations link has not been updated for 1.5 years (April 28, 2021) and I see other things in that link that are no longer limitations.
New Responsive Form error "Unable to Save. Object Reference not set to an instance of an object."
I'm trying out the New Responsive Forms, but getting an error when trying to complete it. (It did work at one point for a trial, but now it won't work any more.) I have a form that is simply an approve/reject form. The only fields on it are linked to the task comments and the Task Outcome. I get this error when hitting the submit button. I've tried removing and inserting the Comment and Task Outcome items directly from the list on the left of Task Items and republished the workflow. Still no luck. Any thoughts on where to even look from there? I did notice on the column list for the Task list that I had these Outcome Choices. I have several different tasks on other workflows that are working fine (but use the classic forms). Not really sure how to interpret anything, but based on where and when the error is happening, it looks to me like it has to be some linkage of the comments or outcome? I am using a Task Proces
Hi. Is there any way to set a different value for each choice in my Choice field in SharePoint List? I noticed this is how to set a value if the choices is from Nintext Designer not from SharePoint field: But when I try to do the same in List Settings of my field, it's not the way it works.
Hi. I just want to know if there is any way I can store my variable value to my SharePoint field after hitting the submit button? Without using Nintex WF. I created here a variable that calculate the sum of all my field: Now, I want to store my variable value (Q1 Scorecard Total) to my SharePoint field, so it will also reflect on my List default view.
Dear everybody, Does anyone let me know what to do for the retirement of basic authentication of exchange online ?According to this , it seems that only calendar related actions are affected. Is this correct understanding ? https://help.nintex.com/en-US/Office365/Designer/Actions/ExchangeOnline.htm?cshid=1004#ExchangeOnline
Hello, In my workflow, I am trying to implement an action that finds out whether an exployee still exist in the organization or has left the company. If the employee did leave the company, the wf should assign the task to someone else. Can someone please help me with this?
I am using the Copy Item action in a workflow to copy a list item from one SharePoint site to another so that processing of the request can continue from one department to the next (the two departments want to keep things separate). The list contains a people field. When the list item gets copied, it does not copy with the same person in this field. The error seems to be consistent, as when it copies it uses the same wrong name for each person. For example, Mickey Mouse in the source always ends up as Daffy Duck in the destination, and Daisy Duck always ends up as Elmer Fudd. Has anyone else experienced this behavior? If so, is there a fix? I submitted a support ticket to Nintex and I am waiting for their response. On both sites I looked at the hidden user list (group 0) to see if the names corresponded to the user IDs on each site, and they don't. So the problem does not seem related to the this.
I've got a workflow which uses a query action to create a collection. but sometimes I would like to run a alternative set of values through the workflow in the same collection. If I use the add item to collection action it adds quotation marks, which I can't easily remove with a regex action. I choose text and add 69384,68825,68808 the output is: ["69384,68825,68808"] Can someone tell me how to manually add a set of items to a collection with the least amount of work?
I exported a form from one site as a template and imported it into to another. However, some of the fields are coming across and locked and not editable. I see no documentation on where it is controlled or set or how to remediate it. I see that both sites are configured the same so I don't know how this is happening or how to undo it. The field is shaded and shows a message as follows; "You cannot edit this field because the value is associated with a SharePoint list". Since pretty much all of the fields are associated with lists or libraries, I find this to type of message to be very generic..
Is there a way to get the version history of a list item column in SharePoint 365? This post explains how to do it with workflows for SharePoint On Prem: Solved: Re: Extracting Data from Appended Multi-Line Text ... - Nintex Community. I don't see an action named "Call Web Service" in 365. The closest action I see is "Web Request," but the parameters are completely different. If it's even possible, I don't know how to translate the options.
Hello, I was trying to update a Nintex form and I went to save it and then go back in to fix something I forgot and I am now getting this message. I have not published this form since I have made the changes only saved it. I am using the online 365 and I do not have access to SharePoint Designer at this time. I was hoping to resolve this without using SharePoint Designer Please let me know if you need any other information. Thanks Wendy

Hi all, I am really new to Nintex forms but am quite savvy however i am running into trouble with a list lookup. when using the list lookup to a SharePoint list the value is coming across fine, however if i want to use that value in a variable i am see not only the value but the row number in the list. For example: List Columns Fruit Type of Fruit Yes Apple Yes Orange No Potato If i want to pull back for example 'Orange' the word Orange is showing in my list look up form value perfectly. But pulling that value into a variable i get '2;#Orange' because it's in row 2. How do i just get the value?
An existing workflow which has been working for a long time suddenly started giving this error message, with the only details showing in the description comment "An unexpected error occurred on the connection." Please can you advise what I should be looking for? The workflow is used on a list, and simply creates a task which sends an email out (an approval workflow) Thanks,
Hi , we have created a nintex form on a sharepoint online list. Some of our users does have list permissions only(edit permissions), no permissions on the site level. If they want to open the nintex form, they get an "sorry, you don't have access" error. Other users with read permissions on the site level can open the form. Any idea how to give the other users access to the nintex form? (permissions on the site level cannot be given due to other reasons). Thanks Lutz
Hello, I have 2 use cases. 1st use case is in SharePoint online, we want to use Nintex Form on a SP list, say we have textbox fields, is it possible on the form to query on premises SQL database based on the user input? E.g. User enter a zip code and the form can populate data on another form label/textbox control (the data is stored in on premises SQL database)? 2nd use case is on form submission, is it possible to stop the form from submitting if one of the field contains invalid entry? The logic for invalid is checking against on premises SQL database, if the value is not found in SQL, it's considered invalid. I saw there is something called SQL Request control in Nintex form for SharePoint on premises. Cannot find them on Nintex form on O365 or NWC. Thank you.
Hi, I am trying to get my PDF formatted the right way. On the picture you can see on the left, how it should look like (screenshot from Nintex Forms) and on the right the output from Nintex Document Generation. For the date field, I already tried various options that are available within the Nintex Document Tagger. But the options available do not fit my requirements.Has anyone an idea? Or is this a current product restriction? Thanks for your support,Dom
