Nintex for Office 365

I have customer who uses AD security groups to control access to their SharePoint environment. They want to use Nintex Workflow for O365 to send an email to an AD security group. Is that possible? If not, what are alternative solutions? ThanksDean

Hello!I am using a responsive O365 forms and having difficulties on the approach of percentages and decimals. I need to be able to determine if the result is less than 75%.The first field is # of Months (integer) which is determined by the dates entered in from the fields above it. The other field is Asset Economic Life (integer) that is “driven” by the Category field and in which outputs 480.I use the calculation below to provide the following output to the field in the second screen shot (displaying 12.08).# of Months = TOTALS_MonthsAsset Economic Life = Asset Economic Life How do I even go about figuring out how to determine 12.08 is less than 75%??? I’m struggling on how to attempt this, please help!I have the field above (holding 12.08) setup as so…fyi  

I have built an in-depth evaluation form for my team. It’s connected to our SharePoint site, and on a list, we use the new Nintex form builder. I think we are on the O365 version if that helps. So, I have several multiple-choice columns, with up to 20 items in each one. I need a way to calculate the percentage of selected boxes from several columns of data. For example, if I have 5 multiple-choice sections, I need to calculate the percentage of all of those choices; we are using them as pass/fail. Please help. 

Hello,So I need to add an attachment control to a repeating section in my O365 responsive form but cannot and I see that many others in the past cannot add attachment controls to repeating sections either…Is there a work around? Or??? Thanks!

Hello. I have created two lists in SharePoint Online; one list is the “main” list (...Time Off Form) that contains a field named Name which is a Person or Group field, and the other list is to be used by the main list for a lookup (list name =’s EmpID), and currently only contains a field for EmpID (Single line of text) and Name (the Name field is a Person or Group field). The form I have is attached to the “main” list, and I have created a rule (See screenshot.). If I replace the lookup function with just text, for example “Test” the rule works as expected, filling in the ...ID field with Test, but if I try to use the lookup function nothing displays in the ID field. I do not receive an error.For the lookup, I believe… I have it setup correctly. As long as the Name field in the main list is not blank then…  “EmpID” is the name of the lookup list. “Name” is the name of the field in the EmpID list that I would like to compare to the Name field in the main list, and I would like the EmpI

I have created a form based on a SharePoint list with Nintex Forms for Office 365. My list has a field called Request Status (choice type field) with Draft as my default. When I open the form, Draft is displayed in the field Request Status. Once I save, the value disappears and if I try to add it, at saving, it disappears. My SharePoint Field settingType: Choice Default value: Draft Display choices using: Drop-Down MenuMy Nintex field settingChoice - single connected to request status Required: Yes Visible: Yes Read-only: NoAction Panel settingSave button text: Save Connected to value: empty Submit button text: Submit to Event and Meeting Coordinator Connected to value: In Development (one of the choice in the SharePoint Field)I have no rule attached to those fields.It was working when I did it but for an unknown reason, today it is not working anymore.  

I am using New Responsive Forms.  I have a business requirement to validate/mask a text field.  I am not sure if it would be easier to use a Text Mask or Regular Expression. Below are the requirements.  Can anyone help me with this?Text Field called “Board Item No” Format: First part is limited to 2 digits (can be 1 digit) Second part is limited to 4 digits (can be 1, 2, or 3 digits) First and second parts are separated by a dash (-) Example of valid values 7-2 23-2222 1-123      

I’m using the New Responsive Form Designer for 365 on a Sharepoint Online list. I have a group on the form that should only be visible if the current user is present in a pre-filled people picker field. These are basically the admins. The people picker field will have more than one user listed. I have a temporary label, for testing, that displays the current user display name and it matches perfectly the way the name is presented in the people picker field. I cannot get the hidden group to display however.This seems like it should be pretty straight forward, but I’m not having any luck. What am I doing wrong?  

Hey everyone!Maybe this question is a quick one, but is it possible to place two smaller fields next to a big one? Like in this picture above I would love to place another Choice Field under the first one to use the space on the left side of the Text long box. I couldn’t find a solution for this, so I assume it isn’t possible in the Responsive Forms Designer.Thanks for your input and kind regards!Tim

I have a list that contains an image column, the column is set to show as thumbnail. When I create a new form, the image column does not show up in the forms designer? I would like to be able to upload an image to that column. The image upload to the column works fine from the SharePoint “new item” option from the list itself.

I was updating our Nintex Forms for Office 365 app license after our renewal and noticed a message from Microsoft about the retirement of Add-ins from SharePoint Online.  There was a banner in the SharePoint store that indicated:Starting April 2, 2026, SharePoint add-ins will be retired for SharePoint in Microsoft 365 and users will no longer be able to use SharePoint add-ins. Installing SharePoint add-ins from the SharePoint Store will not be possible as of July 1, 2024. Learn more about the retirement of add-insHas Nintex posted any information on how this will be resolved for adding the necessary apps to new sites that need Forms or Nintex Automation Cloud workflows?  Any details anyone has would be helpful.Thanks. 

I have a workflow which is supposed to update 3 fields per item and for the the whole list but seems to just update the Current item. the query list action is on all list items and is essentailly building a collection:I then use a ForEach so cycle through the collection and updating as it goes:is there something I’ve missed ?Regards

I would like to design a form in Nintex Automation Cloud and then enter data into that form that would populate my SharePoint list.  I have my connection and Data source set up, and the design of my SharePoint list is created. I know how to create a start event to create a design form and know how to create a new list item in a workflow, but I don’t know how to connect the fields on the form to the SharePoint list. Can you share with me a link, tutorial or solution for this? Hopefully a tutorial, so I better understand it. It looks like I need to create a task form, but I don’t understand how to do that.

I have a form whereby, a user can complete multiple bookings for meeting rooms. The solution required that the booker could select multiple meeting rooms and create a number of meetings on the same day.I added a repeating section so that a common themed meeting could take place in multiple rooms with different presenters (to overcome room size limitations). So, in the repeating section, each row would apply to a particular room and presenter. To reduce the amount of duplication, I want to be able to allow the form filler to use a toggle that enables the date field values to be copied from the previous row in the repeater.I numbered the rows to try and help identify them, but I cannot seem to find any way of identifying the current row and its predecessor.I cannot see any runtime formulae that will specifically identify the current row. In the rules section, I can see the collection for the date fields, but there is no way to express [Form].[DataRepeater1].[StartDate][0] or similar to g

Because of the Details Pane, users now have the ability to update fields which are disabled in nintex form via rules. We have set the library to use Classic experience for now. But once Microsoft removes classic experience completely, we will have the problem again. Is anybody else thinking about this ?

Is Nintex forms down again - 2 weeks ago we had a 3 day outage and could not get the form filler or designer to open.  a MS fix didnt work, and its happened again - exactly the same thing

I was wondering if it was still the case that the lookup runtime function doesn’t work when using the nintex mobile app? There is this post from a number of years ago stating that is the expected behaviour, but it would be really useful to be able to use it. List lookup() runtime function does not return any results on Nintex Mobile form. | Community

I need to be able to count the number of attachments in an attachment control. There are a few posts in the forum which refer to a JavaScript solution e.g. https://community.nintex.com/t5/Nintex-for-Office-365/Hi-I-am-trying-to-create-a-form-where-the-minimum-attachment-is/td-p/30888Myself and a colleague have both tried this and cannot get it to work (Classic forms)...I always get a value of zero from the function regardless of the number of attachments.These posts are all over a year old, I am wondering if something changed? Does anyone have a working solution to count the number of attachments in an attachment control on the form?I need to be able to do this on the form, even before the first save...so any workflow based solution or settings on the attachment control based on item properties won't work.

This is a new one for me! Two users can click on and edit the same Nintex Forms at the same time. When the first person saves the form the saves apply to the list, however, when the second person saves the form it overwrites the others changes. These are saves happening within 3 min of each other. User 1 change look like they apply in the list view, however, if the refresh their changes are gone. How can I get the system to only allow one save at a time. In the box forms would show a save conflict error.

Hello.I’m building a “New Responsive Design” form and am having an issue where the Lookup function does not return any value if the “Output Column” is a lookup column.lookup("zzz_Parts","Part Number",toUpper([Form].[PartNumber]),"Buyer")The “Buyer” column is a lookup to the Title field in a list of Buyers. I am able to return values for every other, non-lookup, column in the list.This same function returns the expected “<ID>;#<Value>” when used in the other form designs. This is my first time using this function in a New Responsive Form.  Is this a limitation?

Hello, I understand this question has been raised multiple times, but I'm still searching for a clear answer. In New Responsive Forms, repeating sections utilize GUIDs for data storage, unlike the "normal names" used in Classic Forms. Is it possible to make a responsive nintex O365 form into an attachment via workflow?I was asked if a form could be made into an attachment once it has been submitted and attached to an email and sent out automatically…Is this possible? If so, how do you even go about handling this? Thanks in advance!
