Nintex Workflow

I'm working on a workflow in Nintex Automation Cloud, and I’ve stored a list of users in a Nintex Table Data. I need to fetch users from this table based on certain conditions (like role or department) and assign a task dynamically to one or more of those users.I’d appreciate some guidance on the following: How can I query a Nintex Table Data from within the workflow to filter users (e.g., by role or department)? What is the best way to loop through the results or select a specific user from the filtered list? Once I have the user(s), how do I assign the task to them dynamically using a "Assign a task to user(s)" action? Are there best practices for working with Nintex Table Data in these scenarios?

Is there a method in Nintex Workflow Cloud to directly utilize a standalone form, designed within the 'pages' section of Nintex apps, as a task form in a workflow? I am looking to save time by reusing the existing form design, without the need to recreate the form or manually transfer its controls

When giving a Rich Text box default content from SharePoint, it is surrounded by < p > & nbsp; < /p > when you look at the source of the control. I’m looking for a way to keep only my original content in the control. SharePoint: Rich Text: 

For the first time, I am using a Signature form control to capture a signature, which I then want to place on a generated PDF document.I’ve done it successfully, but with one problem: the signature image on the generated document is much too large.I was looking at this thread, where ​@cecilia-penha says, “If you need to control the size of the image in the template, use a picture and name it using the tag otherwise you can directly use the tag.”But I don’t understand what this means, “use a picture and name it using the tag.” Use a picture how? Hello!I need to retrieve the direct link to the Assigned Task in Nintex Automation Cloud, with the goal of storing it in a database. This will allow us to display the task link on a Power BI dashboard for tracking purposes. If a task remains incomplete, we can easily identify the specific person and resend the task link as a reminder to complete the assignment.I would appreciate any help to achieve this.Thank you very much!

We have an internal API that we use in our forms in Nintex Workflow, via a custom Xtension.  In the form, we create External Data variable and Data Lookup controls to allow the user to use the API. Users can type in an ID of a record into the form control and it does the lookup and returns a data set of results.  We are wanting it to handle the following scenarios: The Lookup is in progress The Lookup completed and returned no results The Lookup completed and has a partial data set of results (1 or more rows of results, but some of the columns are empty) The Lookup completed has a full data set of results.So far, we can only successfully implement #2 and #4.For #1, the problem is that we can’t get the rule to know the difference between “waiting for results” and “no results found.”For #3, the problem is that we can’t get the rule to know the difference between “some columns are empty” and “no resu

Hi have a Nintex workflow that features a ‘Call a web service’ step.. I’m trying to use the HTTP Patch request type to update an item via the API. I have tested through Postman and the Request Content of { “id”: “value”, “notification_email”: “value”} works successfully. When I run the workflow and log the output, I get a status of 200 (success), but the data is not updated. For context, I’m also using a HTTP Get against the same API earlier in the workflow, so Auth in the Request Headers isn’t the issue. Any ideas?

I’m using a drop-down list on a Single Choice form control. The data for this list is in a Nintex Data Table. I’d like to allow the form user to add an entry to this table and have the drop-down list update without leaving the form. I can do this once the form has been submitted easily using the ‘Tables - Create a Row’ action in the workflow. How do I do this without the user leaving the form? Thank You Darren

HELP!   We have built a form on Nintex cloud that includes repeating sections. This form is to connect to an already existing form within SharePoint O365. All other fields are updating as expected, except for repeating sections. Does anyone know how we can make this happen?  

I have a repeating section in my start form. In the workflow, I have a branch by stage with 3 branches that are 3 different person: Rep, Manager, GSM. Each of them has a task to do.The request goes to the manager firts. The manager form has an editable repeating section that is the same as the start event. The manager can change the repeating section. If the manager approves the request, it goes to the GSM. If not, the request returns to the Rep. The GSM task form has also the editable repeating section. He can change the repeating section. The GSM has the possibility to return the request to the Rep or to the manager to revise it.My problem is that for the manager task, the value that I want to show in my repeating section can come from the start form, the Rep form or the GSM form. So I don't know how to configure the count formula and the getItemCollectionItem in the Rules of the manager form, because of this.Can you help me?

Hello, I am curious.. I am testing a WF I just setup in NAC and using the Assign Task to multiple users workflow action. It will need to go through 7 approvers and I assigned all 7 to myself… now, should I receive 7 emails cause I only received one… 🤔  

Hello,In my workflow, I create a folder in a document library. Then I send an email to the person who started the workflow and give them the URL to upload their file to. (This is for files larger than what can be uploaded in the Nintex Start form. >25MB ) I want the workflow to periodically check the document library for the presence of a file. I can’t figure out how to do this? I thought I could get a count of files in the folder, and if it’s greater than zero the workflow will proceed. But all I’ve been able to query is the folder itself.I used the Query a list action on the document library with a condition of ID equals the Folder ID of the folder I created. But this only returns data about the Folder, not the contents of the folder.Any suggestions?Thank you,Michele

Using Exchange Online Connector …  I am attempting to trigger a workflow on receipt of an email to a particular mailbox account. I’ve already built and tested the connector using SEND, Create Calendar, etc… and the connector works fine. I cannot get a workflow to TRIGGER on email receipt to that account even if I set conditions based on “Subject Starts With <something>” etc. Anyone else have issues getting the “Receive Mail” TRIGGER to work?

We would prefer to use the Microsoft Exchange Online - Send an Email action in our NAC workflows vs the NAC - Send an Email action, because the NAC emails are getting flagged with a “Caution: this email originated from outside of the organization.” warning, and we can’t turn that off.The Message Body window in the NAC email action has a rich text menu though, whereas the MS email action does not. How are hyperlinks and formatting to be added to the MS email message body - does the whole body have to be written out as HTML first? 

If you have an item in a SharePoint list and click the title, it brings up the form that was filled out. In Nintex Automation Cloud, let's say when the initial form is submitted, it changes stages to an “Assign task to multiple users” action, which has another user fill out a task form. Is there way to update SharePoint list so that this new task form is brought up when you click on the list?The reason why I want this is because I have a workflow with a form that goes from requestor to supervisor, to engineering review, to quality review, etc etc. I am making different work forms for each one, but using the same list. The problem is that the list column is filled using only the original form, which I want the original requestor to see when they click on the column link. But, I want the engineer to see their own form that they submitted when they click on the link.Thank you in advance.

Using NWC ... building a workflow that includes an “Assign Task to Multiple Users” action. I want to store to store the list of USERS with their email address in a SharePoint list.  That way users who participate in any given “group / task” assignments can be updated as needed without needing to modify the workflow in NWC. So far, I have built a SharePoint list of usernames with email address; then successfully used a QUERY LIST action and LOOP action to extract the names in the list and build a TEXT variable of the email address list in typical email fashion (list separated by comma and/or semi-colon). I then tested this dynamic TEXT variable using a SEND MAIL action in the workflow and the formatted text variable works great for sending messages from the workflow.  But that same variable CANNOT be used for Task Assignments even though an email address is a viable data element when assigning a task. Note: An emai

I built a workflow that uses the assign a task action with the escalation, however I need the task to be able to escalate if not completed to a different set of individuals. So, I created a SharePoint list and scheduled another workflow that will assign a new task out to the other individuals if the original task does not show competed on the SharePoint list. I would like to set it up so if that when this task is completed then the workflow will complete the original task. I have a unique identifier built into the task name (see attached) but when i use the get a task action trying to find the task name I get a error. See attached. If you have any ideas on how i could get this to work i would really appreciate it.   

Received this error on an Express Approval Task with multiple outcomes. There is no indication for why the task failed and everything I can tell in the task is correct. Just looking to see if anyone else has had this issue. It is the only express approval task in my workflow.  

How often do the Nintex Workflow API update the information about instances? I am trying to query all instances from a specific period but comparing the web page I got a smaller number of instances on the query.

Hi all, I’m having an issue with a Regex action in a workflow that I have upgraded from Nintex for SP to NAC. The workflow looks up a user’s office and stores it in a variable, then a Regex action replaces the text with a regional code for finance purposes. However, the result (varOfficeCode) is just coming out as the original input text. Am I missing something? Thanks!

In Nintex Workflow Cloud, is there a way to rename and change the email of a user in the ‘User management’ section? We had a user get married and want to keep their existing submissions, drafts, and permissions associated with their new email.
