Nintex Workflow

I’m hoping someone can confirm if Nintex table data is restricted to only be available on Authenticated Task forms. It appears it is. To explain: Table data can be used on a non-authenticated Start form using the Data variables function. However, when I do the same on a non-authenticated Task form the control fails. I mean it can be set up, but when the Task is sent the a ‘Data failed to load’ error displays and the control fails. This seems strange: if I set up a Data variable to use External data (not Table data) then that works on both non-authenticated Start and Task forms. However Table data doesn’t. ​​​​​​

I have created a form plugin which will leverage with Microsoft Graph Api to get data from SharePont list and display it as a dropdown component. I have set the required property in the getMetaConfig().I also have the on change event to capture values from the selected option and return the Title and id as object. When I import the form plugin in NAC, the label able to display the title and id from the object that return from the component.  However, the component will always recognize there is no value return, and the required field

It seems like Nintex allows this simple procedure in that it lets you select the collection, but it fails when you run it. Hi!I am trying to start a workflow in NAC based on if a file in a document library has been modified. I have the start event to equal “update list item” but when I go in to modify anything in the library, the workflow does not kick off… Can a workflow be able to detect if a file has been modified in a SharePoint library?

We create a folder in SharePoint from our Nintex Workflow, it needs to have unique number at the end of it, without symbols. eg Delivery Docket 12345With 12345 being the unique number, this number doesn’t need to mean anything, it just needs to be unique.How do I do this?

Hi,I am facing slowness while editing a workflow. My workflow current size is 21MB which is less than the maximum limit. But it is very slow while editing and suddenly an page load error pop up and all the unsaved changes are lost.Kindly advise if anyone has faced an issue like this and resolved, thanks!

Here’s what I’m trying to do: I have a workflow that adds data to a list in SharePoint Online. I also have a Scheduled Start workflow that is going to run weekly and pull (query) data from the SharePoint list based on certain criteria.Later in the Scheduled Start workflow is an assigned task. What I’d like to do is have that task form display some of the data (i.e., from selected columns in the list), allow the assignee to make changes to it, and then write those changes back to the list.I know there is kind of a way to do something like this using XML and stuff, but it requires that a SharePoint Online start event be used. Good day everyone,How can I display fields on my SharePoint list: I am using SharePoint 2019 and Nintex 2019, I have these checkboxes on my Nintex form I have placed each checkbox under a panel named categories, what I want to achieve is that, when a user selects the categories then the categories should show or be displayed on a SharePoint column named Supplier categories. Unfortunately, I could not display more than 255 characters in a supplier categories field because it is a single line of text, so I have changed the SharePoint field named supplier categories to be a multiline of text. but I don't know how I can make sure that all the categories that the user selects show up on the supplier categories field, please help.

Is there a form variable that allows the approver to approve a form within an email? 

I need a column that shows the current date, so it updates every day, How can I do this? I have a wf that loops every day and updates the current date column daily but wondering if there is a better way as I need to keep the row where I run it from.

I set up a workflow which has a trigger condition to check if the date in a column is = to the current date. If it is then the WF is triggered. However it not being triggered. I was thinking about starting the WF when a new item is created and using the pause until action but I not sure how many rows will be in my list and have WFs running. If I had 100 rows all with WFs running will this be an issue. I have a another WF which updates the current date column to the current date every day. I was thinking this would be the trigger for the WF above as the column has been modified?  Please advise.Thanks   

We have a few on premises SQL Servers that are currently used by Nintex Workflow.  They are due for a upgrades and/or migration to new servers (Windows OS upgrades, possibly SQL Server version upgrades).  What would be the impact on the Nintex connections? When I look at the connection definition, it appears that I can edit the connection and set a new database host name, if that name changes at all.  Could it be that simple?  Or is there anything else to re-configure?

I have a data table set up with two columns:Column 1: Name Column 2: Email AddressThe intent is for the user to select a name in the start form, which auto-populates the email in another action within the same form. I created a workflow from a form; however, for future reference, I would like to store the completed form in a folder on SharePoint. I couldn't find a way to do this in Nintex Automation Cloud. Is this possible?

Hi, I have a question on getting two workflows to work together to get a notification email out to a customer.  The first workflow is where I’ve built a form inside the workflow.  It works as expected and upon submission creates a new record in the list.  Because the form is built inside the workflow and I don’t get the ID until the workflow ends preventing being able to reference that specific record ID in a notification email that was created in that first workflow.  What I decided to do is have created a second workflow that runs when it sees a new record on that list and in this second workflow, I get the ID as expected as the new record ID is seen then on the list   I need the ID so I can send in a notification email in this second workflow a link to that record customers can just click onto to get to that newly submitted record read only.  The Second workflow starts as expected and in instance ‘steps’ I can see the ID as expected but this second workflow appears to hang

I would like to use values from a specific google sheet to populate a dropdown.  I use the data lookup control but when using google sheet connector I can only look up the list of sheets in the google drive rather than the content inside the sheets.   Is there any way I can achieve this?   Thanks.

Got a call from a user that there were a bunch of issues with some workflows. Turns out that the access token used in one of the connections in the workflow had expired and needed to re-authenticate. OK --- Easy fix to re-authenticate and get the workflows to start working again. BUTHaving workflows fail for this reason is NOT acceptable. I’m looking for a solution to be proactively notified BEFORE a workflow failure happens that a connection has an expired token. This way I can assume 100% uptime in my workflow by renewing the access token BEFORE there is a workflow failure.The connections screen in NWC only shows the date the connection was created. No where is the expiration date documented. So how is a Nintex admin to know when these things expire?Currently the only solution is to wait for a failure (and some angry customers) and then reactively address it by re-authenticating.This seems like a huge design flaw in this product tha

Anyone else having issues with SharePoint Online actions this morning? We’ve had workflows in place for years that are suddenly failing this morning with SharePoint Online actions. No changes to authentication, and the lists/files that the actions are supposed to pull are still there.  The the “Query A List” action, I can create a new action, successfully retrieve a set of lists in our SharePoint Online, but I’m unable to define any fields in that list to sort or filter by.  So it’s at least partially working, which would tell me it’s probably not an authentication issue.  I’ve made a case with support, but I’m just trying to get a feel for if anyone else is having problems.  Thanks!

I am trying to go through and making an inventory list via sharepoint. The main key part that I am missing is that the user will put the name of the product in a form and range of numbers and I need to the product to separate into each individual lines into a sharepoint list. So for example product name: Purse, Quantity: 50. Start number: 1 End number 50 Sharepoint list will look like this: Purse #1, Purse #2, Purse #3 through Purse #50.
