K2 Custom Control in Passes Validation event

Hi, i created a searchable dropdown as a custom control. how i can integrate that control on below event of passes validation. so that if i didnt select the value the control will trun into red.  Regards,

Consolidation tool 1.9

Hello everyone, Ive started upgrade process from our 4.6.6 to newest versions.First step its upgrade to 4.7.. But I cannot start it, because Ive missed the Consolidation tool. In the internet Ive only found the white paper pdf, but not the tool. Maybe someone can help with that?

Preview File attchement (PDF) in content Control

Hi all, I want to display a preview of a PDF file stored in DB (attachment) How can I pass the source in a content instead of urlI have the content (base64 of the file) and I know that content control have an url input but where can I find url output from files stored in DB any idea or help plz ?  thank you

Excel export with Unable to determine the identity of domain

We are using the Excel Export SO with ADO Query. but while retrieving the data getting the error”Unable to determine the identity of domain”, we susppect the Number of Rows has limit and file size.May I know what is the max row and max file size ADO query can be inserted into the excel?

data not returned in deseialised typed array in workflow, but it appear in K2 Managment and SmartObject Tester

We have a rest API that return list of serialized items. if We excute the method in the smart object in Smart obejct Tester the data returned correctly,excute the method in SmartObject Testeralso if we test the smartobject in K2 management it run smothly and return data. testing the samrtobject from K2 Managmentwhile if we add the smartObject in a workflow with a method desrialize, it retrun no datai create a refernce to get the data from the samrt object, and another smart object to add recode in K2 database with the retrieved data  no data appear in the K2 table, means no data was returned from the deserialise method

Attachment List form error

When testing the form, I get the following error:SmartObject property ID is a required property for selected method GetAttachmentsList. Value must be set. Can someone help me with that please ?

Any issues or concerns upgrading from 5.4 to 5.6 ??? A few questions

Hi,I’m planning for an upcoming K2 5.4 upgrade to 5.6 and wanted to ask what other peoples experience was of the upgrade:Is the upgrade from 5.4 to 5.6 directly possible? Avoiding 5.5 altogether? Is 5.6 to new? Should i just upgrade to 5.5? Should 5.4 be on the latest Fixpack before upgrading? Is there any functionality that has been removed or no longer works in 5.6? I’m thinking legacy stuff, for example K2 Studio Workflows, will they continue to work and be supported? Any pitfalls you’ve come across during the upgrade Any post upgrade issues to be aware off? Any other advice or nuggets of insight you can share?Thanks

Error "There is no connection string for the destination email address system@k2.local."

Hello, we have a problem with email sending. During the installation of nintex we unchecked "Use Exchange for mail integration" and setup smtp connection.But despite this we have a problem with email sending.Text of an error: "There is no connection string for the  destination email address system@k2.local."It's logically, just because we have only strings with our smtp settings. Also Connection String Editor has smtp settings (see attachments).Nintex version: 13.03.2023 K2 Five (5.6) (5.0007.1000.1).

How can I disaply checkboxes in listview

I Have a requirement to dsiaply check boxes and data in listview . So that users can choose and submit. I knew can use multi selection feature but needed to display check boxes. Check boxes are only visible in edit moe of each record. Any ideas how can i do this in listview. Thanks

List with destination started by user workflow

Hi,I want to do something like report view, with all current user active workflow and show him destination his workflow.I started by connected two SO methods from K2 (list method from - Workflow Instance Report and Activity Instance Destination) and this one works. I have list view with all current user started workflow and I can see destination user, but destination user is the FQN. So I make associations with SO UserFQN and created list display. But that doesn’t work, i don't know why data doesn't come to list display. Do you have any Idea why that case doesn’t work, or do you have any idea how to do it in another way?

List one workflow tasks and action from another workflow

Hi,We have an requirement to action a list of task in one stage(say Approver) from an existing workflow via another workflow based on a condition.Condition: Action existing Approver tasks that are not actioned for 3 days from task assignment date. Note: Not all requests should auto close Approver task. It applicable for requests raised under certain categories.We tried to add deadline in existing workflow but it was not applicable for all requests. So, we have to create new workflow but couldn't find the exact and correct solution.Could you guys please assist with recommended solution to action a list of tasks of a workflow in another workflow in K2 5.5?Regards,Revathi

Please create a master key in the database or open the master key in the session before performing this operation.

We move a K2 4.7 Blackpearl to to a new DB server. On loading the K2 service we are getting the following:Please create a master key in the database or open the master key in the session before performing this operation.I found some article with some sql we need to run:There some items which are not specified in the scripts do these need to be generated by Nintex?

Carriage Return and Line Feed in the list view fields

Hi all,after the last CU applied on our environment, the fields in the list views which contain CR and LF are visualized actually on many lines according to the CR + LF present in the field (before they were visualized on one line only).I would need to come back to the old visualization.Is there a way to obtain this result? Thanks a lot.Antonella

Digital Signatures in emails

Hi,Is it possible to send K2 notifications such as Form Rules - Emails and Also Workflow Emails with a Signal Signature? I ask this, so that users can authenticate that the approvals/notification requests they get are deemed genuine and from the organisation? For example, a Rosette symbol embedded in the email.Any info appreciate
