Hi, I have a memo field in my smartform. The user enters a value into the text area and in my workflow I use a subset of this string (first 25 characters) in the subject line of an email. If a user enters a newline in the text area the workflow will fail due to the newline " The specified string is not in the form required for a subject" I have tried using the Trim function in both the smartform and the workflow itself to remove the new line however it hasn't done anything. I can't find any other function that would do this for me. Does anyone have any suggestions? Regards,Ciara

 We want to create a view that pulls details on the staff ID, start and end date. our expectation is that when a manager opens the form, all the staff under the respective manager should be listed with the checkbox view. The Manager should further be able to select some items and in the next page it should show the list of all selected items. We want to add check box feature to a non-editable list view using minimal or no codes. Below are the criteria's to be considered.The List should allow paging – If the list is large, the list should be displayed in pages, say 10 items each page. The Manager should be able select only the desired items in each page.  No Unique ID- This List of Staff ID and details does not have any column for Unique ID and we cannot create Unique ID field.  All the fields should be read only. The list should be displayed in Non- Editable List view.

Hi,I have recently upgraded K2 from 5.3 to 5.6. and after upgrade K2 workspace is not accessible from extranet and throws attached exception. we didn’t find any issues with internal network. below error is only when trying to open from extranet connecting with VPN. after upgrading and which was working  fine in K2 5.3. A network error has occurred. unable to execute a server side operation. can anyone help could be appreciated.Best Regards,Thriveni.

We have moved our K2 mailbox to our 365 tenancy and having problems connecting to it.We have performed the API setup successfully as per KB003363, rerun the K2 setup changing the mailserver from OnPrem to 365 and updated the connections strings, plus updated the Environment Library mail server settings and string table mail server settings.We have validated the TLS settings are also correct.Error we receive when performing a Smart Object Test for Exchange Calendar is:Any help would be greatly appreciated

First task manager already received what he has to review but after he click reviewed the next person didn’t see detail in a form.Figure 3I would like to ask is there any ways to let second task manager see the detail of the form as same as task manager 1.

We are using the Excel Export SO with ADO Query. but while retrieving the data getting the error”Unable to determine the identity of domain”, we susppect the Number of Rows has limit and file size.May I know what is the max row and max file size ADO query can be inserted into the excel?

We have a rest API that return list of serialized items. if We excute the method in the smart object in Smart obejct Tester the data returned correctly,excute the method in SmartObject Testeralso if we test the smartobject in K2 management it run smothly and return data. testing the samrtobject from K2 Managmentwhile if we add the smartObject in a workflow with a method desrialize, it retrun no datai create a refernce to get the data from the samrt object, and another smart object to add recode in K2 database with the retrieved data  no data appear in the K2 table, means no data was returned from the deserialise method

Hi,I’m planning for an upcoming K2 5.4 upgrade to 5.6 and wanted to ask what other peoples experience was of the upgrade:Is the upgrade from 5.4 to 5.6 directly possible? Avoiding 5.5 altogether? Is 5.6 to new? Should i just upgrade to 5.5? Should 5.4 be on the latest Fixpack before upgrading? Is there any functionality that has been removed or no longer works in 5.6? I’m thinking legacy stuff, for example K2 Studio Workflows, will they continue to work and be supported? Any pitfalls you’ve come across during the upgrade Any post upgrade issues to be aware off? Any other advice or nuggets of insight you can share?Thanks 

Hello, we have a problem with email sending. During the installation of nintex we unchecked "Use Exchange for mail integration" and setup smtp connection.But despite this we have a problem with email sending.Text of an error: "There is no connection string for the  destination email address system@k2.local."It's logically, just because we have only strings with our smtp settings. Also Connection String Editor has smtp settings (see attachments).Nintex version: 13.03.2023 K2 Five (5.6) (5.0007.1000.1).
