Hi,

Is there a setting to prevent access to a K2 e-Form offsite?

We have numerous forms, but there a couple which we want to secure further by making accessible on-site only?

Is there a way to do this?

Could you clarify how onsite/offsite is defined?

  1. Is it if the user works in the office vs another location?  Such as if Bob, then onsite.  If Joe, then offsite?  If you can use the authorization framework to secure forms base of users/roles.
  2. Is it if they have a certain IP address; in office via on VPN or through the internet?  You can try retrieving the client’s IP and using that to determine if onsite or offsite: https://community.nintex.com/automation-on-prem-3/get-ip-address-of-user-in-smartform-11332
  3. You can try using the location services control, and perhaps the longitude and latitude to possibly determine this information: https://help.nintex.com/en-US/k2five/userguide/current/Content/Create/K2Designer/Controls/LocationServices/LocationServicesControl.htm
  4. A combination of all of these checks?
