TextSplit in Excel as Middleware

Hello, I am am bringing in data from salesforce into excel, and there is a  specific field I want to bring in that is a picklist. Each customer will have multiple values within this field. Is it possible to turn this into a table in excel as middleware and output it as a table into word? I’ve tried Textsplit and would get a Name? error. Thank you in advance!

Using a Formula in Excel as middleware #N/A error

Hello, I’m bringing in my data into my Excel as middleware file and would like to add a column with a formula. Ofcourse there is no data in my file before running the report, so the #N/A appears in the column. My excel as middleware file:  My Result was the same: How do I create a formula in the excel as middleware file?

How do I create a report with 3 levels in hierarchy?

I would like to create a report using an Ultimate parent, parent and child records. I tried with tables in word, but it has been a formatting nightmare. Looking for guides on the best way to do this! Can anyone point me to some how-to videos or guides to show me the way? Thank you Seth(the newbie) 🤔

Field Tagger Pop Out - Blank

Hello community,Looking to get some answers. When I clicked on the Field Tagger pop out, nothing shows up in my dev org. The visualforce page opens up but with no information. It is just a blank. I am set up as the system admin and I checked that I have access to the loop.fieldTagger visualforce page. The only thing that I haven’t set up is the Authorize Nintex e-Sign part in the Nintex Admin tab. I don’t think this would the field tagger issue. Does anyone know what could be the reason? Nintex DocGen for Salesforce - Obtaining Logs for Mass DDP

Hello Community,I am looking for some assistance. I have an org that has the Nintex package installed; their version is 18.2. The Mass DDP function appears to be not working. When I try to run Mass DDP, I receive the confirmation. However, it is not generating the documents and I am not seeing any information in the DocGen Queue.I used the AI assistant in the Nintext website. It recommended to check the logs. However, I am not finding the logs in the DocGen Package page either. Can you give us some instructions on to access these logs or give us some insights on why the Mass DDP function is not working?Any assistance would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Using Salesforce Reports in a Document

Hi - first time ‘poster’ so please be nice! (and apologies if this has been answered before). We want to give our Salesforce users the ability to print a report when they are in their report window. I can see that we can do things like schedule a report run and email it to an individual but I don’t want to have to set up every report (with criteria) for every account manager. How can we set it up so the report printing can be on demand and on the selected report? ThanksTerry

Sum formulas in Word

Each year, the title of one of our events changes (ie 64th, 65th, 66th, etc.).  I am trying to put a sum formula into word that takes the Calendar (also fiscal) year and subtracts 1954, (the first year of the event) to give me an output of 65th Annual Event Name.  Here is an example of the formula I am using in the word formula tool:  =SUM("<<Event_Fiscal_Year>>",-1954).  I am not getting any errors, but I am not getting any output either.  Am I coming at this wrong?  Assistance is welcome. Thank you,Karen Himes

How do I get Salesforce Docgen, Excel as middleware working???

Hi There, Using Docgen for Salesforce. I have the requirement to have 3 summary tables in my report. It seems the only way to do this is using Excel as middleware. Unfortunately, I was unable to pass my Excel as middleware summary data back into my Word Template.  I’ve searched for video/tutorials on how to do this and found nothing….all old salesforce classic examples. Does anyone have a guide on how to do the Excel as middleware then passing it to the word template (for Salesforce Docgen)? Best-s

Drawloop Font options

We have a customer using Drawloop for Salesforce doc gen output and they are restricted to a particular font style on these comms. Unfortunately that font, Public Sans, doesn’t appear to be supported by Nintex - https://help.nintex.com/en-US/docgensf/Templates/SupportedFonts.htm. Is there any option to have a font added to the supported font list?

SOQL query adds slashes

Hello, When trying to reference a field in a SOQL query, it now adds slashes (\). What is the correct way to write the where clause?  Where Contribution__c = \'<<Contract_Id>>\'  I tried removeing the \ but it comes back when savingthanks for your input!

Add only record data that is not rejected or ineligible

I am using Nintex to create an invoice snapshot. When the button is clicked a document is created that has all the invoice line items. If some of those line items are rejected or ineligible, I need Nintex to not add them to the snapshot. I have tried adding a filter to the relationship for Line Items but it is still returning five lines instead of four. (One was rejected)

Sum(Above) function not working when there are negative values

I have a grouped table of data and I want to sum up the values above - so I’m using the sum(Above) function.This works great until I have negative values in the merge fields - and it ignores them.Any thoughts of a work around or a different function to use?

Unable to Update Field in Word Doc Does Not Persist Through Salesforce Run

Attempting to edit a field (probably protected). I make the edits, press Update Field, save the Doc and then run though Salesforce. Edits made to the rest of the Word doc are fine. Edits to the Field revert to prior text. Thanks!

Filter Component Group Based on Checkbox Field

Document Generation Token Mapping Method Custom Class instead Dataraptor

I have a Vlocity Document Template which needs to fill through a custom class. (Token Mapping Method).When a run the doc generation by OmniScript (client-side), the document tokens are filled with blanks. I don´t know what´s wrong. Anybody can help me? Use the Flow Builder to Enhance your DocGen Experience

The Flow Builder in Salesforce is a great tool change up your document generation experience. Our DocGen for Salesforce product has two actions that can be used in the Flow Builder: Preview Component Apex ActionThe difference between the two is that Preview Component will generate a document on screen like a manual push. The Apex Action will run in programmatically so the user will not visibly see the generation occur. Email addresses not showing complete list in the DocuSign delivery options

The list of email addresses stops at e and is not showing completely in the DocuSign delivery options.  Is it possible that there might be an issue with the configuration or setup. I have updated the template with new fields and trying to run the DocGen Package but I am getting following error - An error has occurred. Nintex Admin left the project and nobody knows the password

Hi, I am adding a new field through field tagger, nintex is an integration in Salesforce in this case however when I added the field and tested no document generation occurred so I selected the nintex doc admin and disconnected it as it seems the authorization expired, (this happened to other of our customers and worked perfectly) then I looked for the nintex admin user and realized the user is no longer part of the project. No one knows the password so we cannot authenticate either authorize.Is there a way to change the nintex admin for the org? If so how can we achieve this if no one is aware of the password. Thanks,

Populate Date field under Create/Edit Records option

I am updating multiple fields on Create/Edit Records option.The text field populates without any issues, the Date fields are not, I tried using just a basic TODAY() function, different field mappings, it just not populating: Am I missing anything?Thank  you!

Rich text field with image

Hello Friends! I have a rich text field in a custom object record where the user inputs an image. I need that image to transfer over to the Drawloop Word doc when "Generate Documents". Any suggestions? Or better yet, is it possible? I would love it if someone could get back to me ASAP as I am on the clock with one of my clients!! Thank you! Shannon
