Nintex for Office 365

I am using new responsive forms in SharePoint online. I want to set the value of the dropdown based on another field. There seems to be no way to set the value. Has anyone accomplished this?

For some reason, sometime in the past few months, the UserProfileLookup function in Nintex Forms for O365 has stopped working completely. I have noticed that lookup funcitons that used to return values in people fields stopped working too. This is extremely frustrating - I suddenly have functions that used to work in production forms failing all over the place because of this and I HAVE GOT TO get to the bottom of this as soon as humanly possible. To reproduce UserProfileLookup issue: (1) create a SharePoint list that includes a people field. (2) Create a new responsive designer form for that list and display the people field. (3) create a variable that does a user profile lookup against that people field and display the value in a label. To reproduce lookup issue: (1) create a second sharepoint list and add a few text fields, plus a people field. (2) Create a lookup field on list 1’s form that links to list 2. (3) Create a lookup variable that returns a field value from the lookup lis

This is a screenshot of part of my workflow. I get an email for a pending for approval at the start of the task process but after approving the workflow doesn’t work to send that last email to notify that the form has been approved. Is it the variables that I set under approval that doesn’t make this work or is the “start a task process” action itself that is not working? I’m very new at this.

We have a Nintex form with more than 80+ calculated columns and multiple repeated sections. one of the repeating section has more than 15 columns and data populated from SharePoint list and calculated the rest of the columns. when we add more than one item in section C, we faced the circular reference issue. Could any one help to provide how to fix this issue.

I am creating a new Nintex for O365 form in the new responsive form designer. I have a need to hide/disable a field unless the user is in a specific SharePoint Group. This was available in the classic form designer and in the old responsive form designer, but I cannot find it in the new responsive form designer. Is this feature available? If so, where can it be found?

How do I preserve data on forms not connected to SPO list field? Does anyone know what the “Non connected control” does? Is this for something else? I don’t understand what this feature does or if it relates to my above question?

I am using lazy approval on a task. I have it set to capture “Comments including task metadata”. Hello, Per Microsoft’s announcement on retiring the SharePoint Add-Ins, the Nintex classic forms are transformed to New Responsive Forms. Some users might have used the Nintex List Forms Online web part on SharePoint pages to show their SharePoint list form. Post conversion of classic form to new responsive form, the Nintex List Forms Online web part does not show the New Responsive form, and it still points to the classic form. As of now there is no compatible web part available to show the New Responsive web part and Nintex has posted an idea for voting here. The alternative is to use the Embed web part on SharePoint online site pages. Enter the New Form url as https:// yourorgname .sharepoint.com/Lists/ ListName /NewForm.aspx (replace the letters in bold with your org name and list name). Hello, So I have a nintex 365 responsive form that works with a NAC workflow. I need to be able to update the title (LEAF Tracking No) if it happens to change after the form has been submitted but see the issue is that the ID needs to be apart of it and the ID doesn’t happen until the form is submitted and the workflow fires off. Every time someone selects something different in the “Lessee” field, it updates the LEAF Tracking No field. You can see in the examples below… I tried concating the part that contains “LA-25-0028” with the ID in a separate sharepoint column to see if I can get the full title “LA-25-0028-ID#” but it doesn’t always display fully in the field. I think I have the formula right for the column in SP? Is that one way to update the field I am trying to update (if any changes occur after form submission)? SP column formula: =CONCATENATE([Title Value],"-",ID)

Is there any way to adjust the layout of the form in print mode? The form looks great but as soon as I click on the print button the two column form becomes one column and a very long form

I have uncovered a strange problem to do with the new item button on SharePoint lists (now in the Microsoft Lists view format). This Microsoft feature release has also caused other issues with list views using JSON customisations, but until recently, nothing has caused issues with the core functionality. So, what has happened is that I have created a new blank list, enabled management of content types and assigned a site content type to it. Set-up the view and tested. All good. Now, I usually then go back to the settings of the list and hide the default ‘Item’ list content type or just delete it from the list. My added site content type will be the basis for a form, so I launch the Nintex Forms app and choose my content type, make some small edits to the layout and save/publish it. Then I usually go to the new item button and expect to see the Nintex form open for input in New mode. However, now this is not happening. Instead, I get the default SharePoint list form for the default ‘Ite

We need to know if Nintex will be planning on creating a custom app for TEAMS integration so Nintex Forms for Office 365 can render somehow in TEAMS for our end-users. Since Microsoft switched to new version of TEAMS, external sites will not be able to render the content within a tab. Because of this, the Nintex form does NOT render when someone clicks on the new item button within a sharepoint online list. It's important Nintex functions and operates within the TEAMS environment for our users as it has been since before this change. I have logged a ticket, but wanted to put this out there for others experiencing the same issue and to see if Nintex has a feasible workaround that doesn’t involve our company creating a custom app for TEAMS to support Nintex forms for a sharepoint list. Unlike the multiline text box, I can validate through the regular expression the limit of how many words a user can add to the text box e.g. ^(\b\w+\b\s*){0,15}$ limits the user to 15 words. Now how can I do this for a multiline text box please ? eg limit the user to only 500 words in the text box then provides a message saying limit exceeded. Nintex workflow for Office 365 - How to create a page from a template? Hello all, after several days I am with a problem and at this moment I am blocked, I need to create a new page from a template with a Nintex workflow. I can create the page and also I can set the metadata and the content type, "with the create item action", but the page is empty, I don't know how to make the new page copy the format of the model page(template). So if anyone has any information I would appreciate some help. Thank you.

Bit of a bizarre one this, but we are seeing a few cases where a person tries to launch a new form, and they are greeted by a broken page as below. I can see that the URL is trying to contact https://formso365.nintex.com to fetch some runtime components. It looks like it cannot reach that location. I, for example, can load a new form without issue. This seems to affect random individuals around the organisation, and there is no discernible pattern or trend and no other related issues are being reported by the user base. Has anyone seen this sort of thing happening on their site?

HI Community, I am currently experiencing an issue with the list lookup to a SharePoint list in Nintex Forms. Although I have ensured that the text fields are correctly named, such as "B&EK," they are displayed as "B&EK" instead or B&R as B&amp;E. can someone advise? ThanksK

Hey folks, I've noticed an issue in the new responsive forms, where if you export a form that has a lookup field, and import it to another site (usual Dev > Test > Prod scenario), then the lookup control still picks up the URL of the old site. Has anyone else seen this? Looks like a bug to me, although a workaround is the disconnect the control from the list column, remove the URL from the site path field, then reconnect it.

Hi we have nintex forms in sharepoint lists which are not working this morning. When trying to open a form myself and other users are getting the error 404 NOT FOUND. I’ve raised an incident with Microsoft but I don’t know if this is a MS issue or a Nintex one. Is anyone else having this problem? It’s happening on multiple sharepoint sites and multiple lists. Was working fine on Friday just gone (it’s Monday now)

Hi Nintex Community! I am working on a Nintex workflow where I send an Http POST request to process a file. The prescribed format for this process is as seen in the Message Body of the screenshot below. The expectation is that the file contents will be posted as a byte stream/byte array. The Start event is : OneDrive for Business - New File. When a new file is added to the targeted folder, the workflow kicks off with the variables seen in the screenshot. The file itself is returned with File datatype. However, I can’t convert or cast it to a string-type variable. Hence, I cannot use it my post request. I tried other out-of-the-box commands (e.g. Convert a Value) but the available data types are limited to a pre-defined list and cannot be customised. Can you suggest any ways to send file data as part of a web service request?

I am not able to see the Nintex Workflow for Office 365 App in Add an app in SharePoint online. Any idea if this is any kind of bug from MS or Nintex has deprecated this option?

Hello, I have a weird issue going on currently where the Nintex O365 workflow where the Assign A Task is supposed to send members of a SharePoint group a email when task is assigned. When I check the backend and also check the task list I see that the task has been created correctly with no issues but no emails are being sent out for some reason. Is there a setting somewhere within the workflow or permissions that need tweaked to make sure all users within a SP Group get task email alert? Thnx

Greetings! Unfortunately the company has decided to stop using Nintex, we are moving to Power Automate. We are cleaning up as much as we can and I am wondering if there is some way to remove all Nintex apps on all Site Collections, sites and subsites on our tenant with an automated approach/script. I did some research but so far I have not been able to find a "Nintex cleanup script” or something similar. Does anybody here have a solution for this by any chance?Thanks a lot in advance! Nintex forms for Office 365 is no longer available to add as an app. I have checked the SharePoint store and as well as Classic mode. How do I install the forms? We are in the Government tenant if that might make a difference in the response.

Hello, I have a Nintex O365 workflow that is setup to manually run when a user is ready to run the workflow, but for some reason the user is unable to start the workflow due to the button missing under the Start A New Workflow section. I have confirmed the user has access to the site/lists. I am able to see this icon with no issues and just wondering if there is somewhere else I need to add the user to make sure they see this icon to manually start workflows? Thnx
