Hi All,I am using K2 Five 5.8 and have implemented the SmartActions feature. Is it possible to capture additional comment from the approver when completing a task via email? For example, approver respond the email:ApprovePlease proceed. The expectation is I can get “Please proceed” as the approver comment. This is similar feature with Nintex Lazy Approval feature. Thanks,Rizki

We are looking at moving over to explicit process reviews so they are done at the same time every year. BUT, is there a way to disable the override default so that process editors cannot change this?
I have an API (NWCToolkit Xtension, base64encodefile) that returns two JSON elements: “error” and “result”: "Result": { "description": "Model for Result", "required": [ "error" ], "properties": { "error": { "type": "string", "x-example": "" }, "result": { "type": "string", "x-example": "SGV5IHdoYXRzIGdvaW5nIG9u" } } }, Since the workflow designer GUI doesn’t seem to have any way to differentiate “error” and “result”, I’m using the Query JSON action to parse the results. Query JSON uses a JSONPath expression, and returns a Collection.Q: What JSONPath expression do I need to return a Collection with two elements: “error” and “results”?
I am currently working on a Business Process Automation solution using a SharePoint list, Nintex Forms, and Nintex Automation Cloud workflows. The process involves task approvals where approvers have three response options: Approve, Reject, and Request Clarification.I want to implement a Commentary feature using a multi-line text column in the SharePoint list to track interactions. Specifically, I need:Approvers to log their comments in the Commentary field along with a timestamp when responding to a task. If Request Clarification is selected, the Submitter (Responder) should be able to respond to the approver's comments in the same Commentary field, also with a timestamp. This feature should support multiple rounds of back-and-forth communication, logging all comments (approvers and responders) sequentially with timestamps in the Commentary column.I have already configured the approval and responder actions using the Branch by Stage feature. However, I need assistance with:Setting up
A Salesforce security update removes the ability to send a Session ID in Outbound Messages, with enforcement scheduled for February 2026.Reference: https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=005232763&type=1We currently use Nintex DocGen for Salesforce via Outbound Messages, which rely on the "Send Session ID" option for authentication. Will DocGen automations using the Outbound Message method break completely when Salesforce removes this Session ID functionality? Is there a specific Nintex DocGen for Salesforce package version that officially addresses this Session ID deprecation? Any alternatives?
Is it possible to run DocGen package to generate document in Salesforce as a guest user (i.e. unauthenticated user), from either Apex or Flow?
Issue DescriptionWhen you package the JSSP service with its own embedded .NET 8 runtime, you cannot update .NET independently, which means the service continues to run on the vulnerable version even when newer, patched versions are available.ResolutionThe fix is available in:Nintex Automation K2 (5.8.1) Fix Pack 11.Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. HiWe have a process that is being archived and replaced with a new more fulsome process ie we are not simply updating an existing process.I am trying to determine where the soon to be archived process may be linked to others, and cannot find a “process link” type report where I can pull this data.I would like to get ahead of the archive process and update any related processes (linking to the replacement process before we proceed to archive the ‘old’ one), is there a way to do this that I haven’t yet stumbled upon?It feels like a simple type of report showing the relationship between published processes so perhaps I’m missing something obvious - any help would be most appreciated!
I’m trying to find a way to remove review dates from the images.
We are trying to send minimode links with an external auditor but when they receive the email with the link it is still asking them to input log in details for our organisation (which they don’t have). Does anyone have any idea how we let external parties view the minimodes?
We have observed that the K2 server is using Poppins as the default font across forms and generated content. We would like to understand if it is possible to configure or override this default behavior to include and use a custom font.Specifically, we would like clarification on the following points: Does K2 support adding and using custom fonts at the server or application level? If supported, what is the recommended approach to: Upload/register a custom font (e.g., TTF/OTF/WOFF)? Apply it globally across K2 forms, views, SmartForms, and generated PDFs/emails? Are there any limitations or best practices when using custom fonts in K2 (browser compatibility, performance, or PDF rendering concerns)? Is this achievable via: K2 configuration settings Custom CSS injection IIS/server-level font installation Or K2 SmartForms theme customization?
We're excited to introduce the Organization Portal, a new portal to help organization admins manage their Nintex organization more effectively. Many Nintex customers have more than one tenant, but what you might not be aware of is that those tenants are part of the same organization. Some settings are shared between all tenants in the organization, such as SSO or SCIM. Until now, those features have been configured from within a tenant, but they affect all tenants, leading to potentially unexpected impacts. The Organization Portal is our first step in exposing the concept of an organization to all customers and making it easier and clearer the impact of changing organization-level features.Who has access to the Organization Portal? To access the Org Portal, you need to be assigned a new role: Organization Admin. The Organization Admin role will replace domain verification as a method for getting additional permission to manage SSO or SCIM.All existing domain verifiers have been assigned t

Hello Everyone,We have a requirement to put restrictions on date selection(Stage 3), if the user selects Internal/External in the Start form and Stage 3 has Board Approval Yes/No. I’ve had a look at the rules but could not find a way to put restrictions on the date. Attached screenshot for reference. If Internal + Board Approval Yes = Can choose any date If Internal + Board Approval No = Can choose next 30 working daysIf External = Can choose next 10 working days Thank you :)
I need to implementation as below:User should Upload an Excel file then Application should read Excel to Validate column Values. Once Excel file is Validated then Application should create CSV, and should keep that to specific location. Please help me to implement this.
I’m trying to call the POST method of a REST-API in our SAP system, however I can’t figure out a way to receive and send a CSRF-Token as is required using only a SmartObject. My goal is to confine the entire procedure to just a SmartObject without writing custom code that potentially needs to be maintained. So far the biggest issue is not being able to filter through the header of the response I get when I send a GET request with x-csrf-token = fetch. As I also need to get a cookie for my post request, I can’t just grab the first line of the header (which is actually the csrf-token) and send it. I also can’t just copy the entire response header and send it, as the “cookie” variable in the response is actually called “set-cookie”. I’ve tried disabling CSRF-validation in the backend and it does work. However I merely tried it for testing purposes and since it’s not recommended by SAP that’s not an option for me.I thought maybe with an OData service instance it could work since it gives yo
I have an AD group that has an email associated with it.When I assign the AD group to task recipient (do not resolve to individual user), I was expecting K2 to send the email assigned to the AD group, but it didn’t. Does anyone have gotten K2 Five (5.6+) sending task email to AD group’s email address?
We've developed a wide variety of K2 applications over the past few years. Now we're asking ourselves: Are these applications actually being used? How often are they accessed, and when were they last accessed? Can they possibly be deactivated or deleted?I'm currently looking for a way to perform this analysis? My question to you:Is there a standard way? An overview/statistics, perhaps, in K2 Management?OrIs there an SMO I can use for this? Then I would write my own K2 application that displays this information in a list. What do you think? Can you help us?
