We have number of systems in the business with more than one word in their name. ie Bottomline PTX, Oracle Web Centre etc. Promapp does not seem to allow a space in a system title when adding a system to the Systems, tools and apps list. We can't be the only company that uses systems with more than one word. I don't want to go down the road of using underscores or dashes or missing spaces. What are my options here?
Is it possible to add additional paper sizes or custom sizes to the print option when creating a PDF of the process flow? For a workshop we are wanting to print complex workflows on a plotter, but can't adjust the paper to a longer & narrower size to allow for better printing.
HI there I am looking for help with migration of our processes in the new instance. We have a new instance of Promapp and would like to get our processes moved there. We were told that that will be done automatically but it hasn't happened. The old instance : https://au.promapp.com/rs The new instance: https://au.promapp.com/employment/ Miriam Renner Business analyst 022 038 0766MBIE Wellington NZ
I am trying to archive a process. It fails due to a dependency link. I have checked both processes to ensure no inputs, outputs or process linked in the procedure. Still can't archive. What I did notice is that the name of the process lists the current version 1.16 and after it 'View v1.0' when I click on the 1.0. I can view the map and see the dependency links, but can't edit to remove the links. Any ideas?
In System when adding a system into the  System List in the name field - is there a way of inputting a system name with more than one string? Please can you advise if this is a improvement initiative, or whether something already possible in the current system I'm not aware of?  Thank you in advance. Denise  Â
We've been using #Opportunity and #Issue to tag aspects of processes that we need to revisit to improve later but since the recent change to the tagging functionality, we're going to have to abandon these and amend all tags created to date, because it is tagging even without the hashtag. So, what is everyone else using to tag their processes that doesn't suffer from this issue? Presumably, you're using a word that isn't used in any processes?
Hi allI have reported issues with running various Promapp reports to Nintex, and today am experiencing time-outs when trying to run a different report (Process activities by Role/Responsibility). Before reporting to Nintex I thought I'd check whether other Promapp customers often experience time outs when trying to run reports, or whether it's just me 🙂 The information I need is not available via the API as far as I know, so that's not an option.Â
Hi, Apologies if this has already been answered but was not able to find answer through a search. I am basically trying to find out how to get my processes to be visible when I check the process group folder but folder indicates it is empty. I checked each individual process and they were effectively added to the Process group. Do not know why this is happening. Many thanks in advance for answering my query. Regards, Â James Albert
We use Promapp for both business as usual process management i.e. maps due for review, approval, reference, improvements, and also as a project resource. BAU and Projects have disparate needs which can't be accommodated in the configuration requirements. An example is the review approval workflow. If this was to be switched on for BAU it would cause nightmares for projects as Business Analysts and Project Managers would be constantly getting update reminders. They would also reflect as overdue in the dashboard (which also can't be restricted to BAU making it unusable). For us it is not as simple as 1) project creates a process, b) published and c) handed over to BAU. We may create multiple versions with different purposes e.g. once is very detailed reflecting integrations for testing but is not required to be maintained post project so won't ever have a BAU owner. Another is a BAU higher level process.Has anyone else come up against this, and if so what did you do?
Hi, I am looking for a report similar to the Process List but where I can select by a username (regardless of if they are the owner or expert) rather than have to export the whole list. We have had some people leave without transferring their processes and when I go to disable and see there are processes I need to copy and paste the name to review it and then potentially get in touch with the business owner to see who should have it. This is ok if there are a couple but when there are a lot it is very manual. ideally I would have the name, minimode, owner, expert, emails for both, version and state on the output and be able to choose a name which would return where they are an owner or expert. I did try in the Excel API document and got it to filter (would be good to be able to do this easily through Excel but haven't figured this out) but couldn't see a minimode. Thanks
Is there a way to run the Process Change Acknowledgements report for all process groups rather than having to run the report for each individual group? Â
Looking for a report to show process groups ,  and such things as completion of background information ,  and PGOs / Active Champions Assigned . Â
is it possible to have bespoke views of the page where the changes to be reviewed sit, (I have seen it / View) to add a column that advises what process the document that has been updated sits in?.Currently you can only see the document that has been changed and not where it sits in a process or which process it sits in.Or of this view exists already can you advise how I add that view to my profile. thanksÂ
Hi all, we are looking at checklists to asses if these could be useful as a prompt for staff to complete activities in particular processes, although we do see some issues with having to start new checklists for every instance eg each time LIM is received. When testing this we do not seem to be receiving email notifications when items assigned , overdue or when the previous item has bene completed. Is there a setting I am missing?  Also is anyone using the checklist function successfully and for which processes?
I have recently declined a couple of processes but they remain as outstanding items on the My Changes dashboard. Once my decision has been recorded, should they not be removed? It clutters my dashboard up and is not helpful.
In Promapp we have a group structure based on our organisation structure - we have a HR section and they want to be the only ones that can edit the processes in that group. We have a number of Business Analyst users set up across the business and I am not sure if there is a way lock them out of touching the HR processes. Any advice would be grateful.
Is it possible to expand multiple linked processes, at one time? In the attached example, can I expand 'Catch a taxi' and 'Cook fish' at the same time?Â
When publishing a map with variations, folks with the minimode link do not see the STANDARD. Is this the anticipated behavior? If we wanted others to see the STANDARD steps, would we need to create another variant and leave it unchanged? What I find more strange is that the behavior is different even when I use the link from a browser - which suggests that the link is still referencing my profile to determine my level of access. Here's our example: https://us.promapp.com/ucsd/Process/Minimode/Permalink/HJgrUeUPulUNZld63vYFt4
I am in the middle of a POC for a customer committed to purchase Promapp. But the customer wants to know if Promapp can branch back and have a rework, like we have it on visio.  I wasn't able to do that as most Promapp flow that I saw online were done in a straightforward format.  I will be glad if an answer can be provided.Â
Release 2: March 2022Performance improvements and resolved issues Fixed an issue where lines or bullet points in notes and tasks created using the process editor would not print correctly. When adding new lines to a task or note attachment, users have to save the process for the new lines to print correctly. Fixed an issue where legacy feedback options could not be resolved. They can now be resolved from the feedback panel and the corresponding dashboard notifications will be cleared. Fixed an issue where special characters in feedback were not displaying correctly. Fixed an issue where timeframes couldn't be saved due to language formatting. Fixed an issue where the Process Review Dates didn't display the process reference number. Fixed an issue where the section timeout error would not be displayed when a user session expired. Fixed an issue where lean tags weren't underlined when not using the # character. Process content on map pop-ups can now be highlighted and copie
Hi, I made a sample process which had a conditional input shown like this:However, it looks like this in minimode link:The minimode link is taken from the published process, but there is still an arrowhead going to the conditional input. How do I resolve this?Thank you.
Hi, I have a parent process, which has three process-specific variations. I want to update the Global Process Owner to a process variation as the process has been transitioned to a different team. I have already updated the correct name in the Process Template (standard version of the process) and re-published the process. It did not work. It only updated the Process Template and the process variation still reflects the name of the previously updated Global Process Owner. I understand that when a process variation is created it automatically takes the Global Process Owner and Global Process Expert from the Template Process. Not sure why it is not updated after updating it in the Process Template. Can someone help address this issue and let me know how to update the Global Process Owner for a process variation? @Nintex_Sam It would be a great help if you can provide your input on this. Â Thanks.
As a Promaster, I want to receive dashboard notifications when:- A new process is published- Changed to an existing process are publishedMy approval flow is turned off, and you can go straight to 'publish'How might I achieve the above?
Can old Improvement register forms beÂ
Earlier, minimode links were used to update after the process is published. That means after the process is published, the same minimode link is used to display the last updated version before it was published and called out as "Historical version".Now, it doesn't work this way. Has this behavior changed recently? The same older version minimode link will redirect you to the latest published version of the process (for example, from v0.14 to v2.0).  If this is true and recently implemented, the "Help Centre" documentation (available/accessible on the upper-right corner of the Pomapp UI - Help > Help Centre) needs to be updated. It still provides information that contradicts the current implementation/behavior of the minimode link. Please refer to the attached screenshot.
