NAC Form Plugin - Confetti error

I receive an error trying to use the evaluation link for the Nintex Form Plugin that enables a confetti effect.https://plugins.ntxgallery.com/assets/solutions/plugins/confetti/confetti-form.jsThe error is “contract.properties.typeofEffect.title: Invalid”Is there an update to this plugin? It looks like a fun effect to add to a form. Thanks!

Webhook-like when task are completed

Hi,I would like to know if there’s a way for NAC to call my RESTful services when a user completes a task in NAC? Ideally, I would like NAC to send me some sort of task identifier so I could easily know what task was completed. I couldn’t find anything related in the API documentation at Tasks | Nintex Automation Cloud Eduardo

Change by stage inquiry

Hi - I have a question re subsequent actions after a change in stage action is implemented. As shown in the screenshot, is the “Legal approval notification” sent out if the next stage is Legal final review? Or does it skip this notification and move to Legal final review directly? If the latter, should I add a Branch by value action to make sure the Legal approval notification email is sent out regardless of the outcome of the Legal initial review? Thanks.

Run If action only works on initial data form entry? Looking for alternative

I’ve got a NWC workflow and form. After a form has been entered, the user is supposed to come back into the form and complete some follow-up questions after a specific date/time.  I’ve got a “Wait for event in list item” action that pauses until these 4 supplemental questions are answered. After they have been answered, it moves onto a “Run If” action where I want someone to get an email if any of the four questions were answered with a “no”.  Apparently, the “Run If” action only looks at start data. It will not take into account fields that are populated after it’s been submitted. It immediately skips over this action.  Are there any recommendations to workaround this issue? Maybe using different actions to achieve the same outcome?

How do I get the repeating section current row number in a NAC form?

How do I get the current row for a repeating section in a NAC start form?In Nintex for SharePoint on-premise we could use the runtime function of currentRowNumber.I’ve tried with both a label and a number or text control and set the default value to a function but nothing matches that I can see. Has anyone else found a solution? What I’m trying to achieve is a repeating section with a drop down control for a selected activity. The form submitter can choose upto 5 but we would like to preference each row as 1st preference, 2nd preference or Preference 1; Preference 2, etc.

New Nintex form plugin doesn't seem very "dynamic"

I’m trying to use the new Nintex form plugin, Dynamically set repeating section rows (neo-rs). But despite its title, it doesn’t seem very “dynamic” to me. I’m a total amateur with plugins and this is my first attempt at using one in an NAC form, so I could be doing something wrong.I’ve followed the instructions on the gallery page precisely. But the plugin seems to work only if the variable in the Number of sections by default field already has a value when the form launches. If you change the value of that variable - or give it a value - while completing the form, the default number of rows in the repeating section doesn’t change. This doesn’t seem very “dynamic” to me at all. In fact, it seems to defeat the purpose of the plugin entirely. You can already enter a default number of rows in the Repeating section action. If this plugin can’t change that default number while the form is being completed (i.e., act dynamically), I don’t see what good it does.I’m trying to use it on a form

Nintex Ideas : Connected WF variables to form fields

Dear all, This topic just so that you know there is a UserVoice open for voting to make it so WF variables can be cononected to fields in task forms so that to remove the tedious task of setting all default values and retrieving all potentially edited fields after each task by having form controls assiociated with a WF variable : https://ideas.nintex.com/ideas/CNV-I-156Would save us developpers precious minutes that add up to hours and days.

Task URL in SQL table

Hi All,I am adding my data into SQL and I want the URL of a particular task, but I am facing an issue. The URL in the Nintex email and Assignee task works fine, but when I add it into the table, I get a different string. I want to show the task URL link on the Dashboard so that when they click on the link, it takes them to Nintex. Form timeout

We’re having some users of a new form get the following error when trying to submit: As the form is not technically failing, there’s no instance information available.  The only cause that currently comes to mind is a timeout of the session.  A 3 year old community post from ‘Nicksha’ says 2 hours is the timeout; is this still accurate?What is the timeout period for a form submission, and is the setting able to be changed?

Call a web service for viva engage create a community post

I need help understanding how to use this action using Nintex Automation Cloud. I’m trying to create a community using the new API for viva engage that is in Beta. How do I get this to work if I created an app using Microsoft Graph API? I have created a client value and secret and was granted access to the app for yammer (viva engage). What now?  I followed instructions up to step 5. Task Assignee Limit

I have built several workflows now, where the approval tasks go to the members of a group mailbox, using the Azure connector. There is a limit on the task configuration panel that suggests it is limited to 20 assignees. So what happens if the Azure group contains more than that?I have some members of our HR team’s mailbox. They number 23 in total. I have been informed that some people do not see a task waiting for them in My Nintex. Checking in the workflow tracking page, I can see the task and only 20 assignees. One of the people missing has a surname beginning W, so I am wondering if they are outside the limit?Anybody have experience with this?

PowerBI Direct Query

Hi All,I am connecting Nintex with Power BI. It is connected, but when I complete step 7, it asks for Import or Direct Query. I am using Import, but data import is slow and because when I start the workflow with beacons in it, data shows up after 2-3 hours, which is not ideal. So, I am trying Direct Query, hoping the data will be updated instantly in the report. I am no expert in PowerBI so apologies if any silly mistake. Nintex Workflow - How to add multiple form sums together in a single step then present total back to the form.

Hello.  Backstory: Tried using my SharePoint lists’ ‘calculated field’ to sum multiple values but find that data type is not compatible with Nintex forms. here is what I got from a previous question.  The bullet point is my question for this thread. This is a great question.The calculated data type column is not compatible with Nintex forms.That said, if you look at the SharePoint designer's New Form, you will not see this column type either.Cool Nintex courses: https://learn.nintex.com/Ok, Thanks for that. Question answered. I’ll start another string to ask the obvious, in my Nintex workflow that engages when the form is submitted, I now see the option ‘Calculate a value’.  Appears though to only be able to add just two values period.  Then appears that first sum has to be put into variable that is then introduced into another 'Calculate a value’ to be added to and then on and on.  Many steps, really.  Is there a way in the workflow to add many number fields in one step ?  Again, than

Open NAC form from SPO Document Library with Parameters from Edit Button

Is there a way to open the Nintex Automation Cloud form when selecting edit in a SharePoint Online Document Library? For example, if a user selected record ID 1, and then selected edit; am I able to pass the parameters to a Nintex Automation Cloud Form for only that record to be edited?

Can you create/edit a variable based on the data given in the "Delegate Task" function in My Nintex?

When viewing a workflow in progress within My Nintex there is the option to “Delegate Task” if a user has not yet completed their task.  Can a variable be created or edited that can be referenced later in the workflow based on the name specified in the “Delegate Task” function?Thanks

Getting the link to task form

I want to save the link of the newly submitted task form to a sharepoint column. I thought this would work, but it is the link to the original nintex form that kicks everything off, not the most recent task form.

Check if Item is in SharePoint Online Document Library

 How do I check if an item exists in a list?I upload a file in the event form and then get the file name from JSON The file name is stored as currentFileName Next I query the SharePoint Online list that I plan on uploading the file to. All records are returned from the query of the SPO list/document library. The query is stored as colSpo I check if an item exists, and it never returns true, but on my test, I have a file with a file name that I am trying to upload that is already in the list. Any idea why it evaluates to true?Here is my process and my check if item exists in collection configuration:

Is there any way of building the link to the task in the task mail/form?

Hello, I am trying to get the link to the task overview where you can delegate the task.Since there seems to be no native option from Nintex to get a link to the task where you can delegate said task, I am trying to build the link myself.It seems that the “normal” link you get from Nintex looks like this:https://mycompany.workflowcloud.com/task-forms/{taskguid}_{assignmentguid}But the link I am trying to get looks like this:https://mycompany.workflowcloud.com/dashboard/my/tasks?activity-feed-route=instance/{instanceguid}/task/{taskguid}/assignment/{assignmentguid}Now as you can see the needed informations are either known (instance id) or already available in the “normal” link.But since I only get the link and its containing informations inside the task when it gets created, how can I build the needed link?The HTML of the task mail does not support JS and as far as I know there is no option for string manipulation with pure HTML.Is there any way for me to achieve this, or do I have to

Expired Access Tokens :: Please VOTE

Hi All, please vote for this important feature. You will also need this! Currently it's very hard to keep component workflow tokens expiration dates on track. Expired tokens will certainly cause downtime with Nintex integration.Since there's no current API for:- 1) retrieving when the workflow tokens will expire- 2) regenerate the token for a specific workflowIt's impossible to automatize the process of refreshing the tokens.Given that, a simpler solution would be a configuration where we can define that a token should *never expire*

Keeping record of every form submitted? (Sharepoint + Nintex)

I have a workflow where it starts off by a nintex form submit, then goes to another form, then another, until the last form is filled out. It starts off with an initial nintex form, and then task forms created using the “assign a task to multiple users” action. Is there a way to keep record of these forms on sharepoint?

Pass SharePoint Online Parameters to a SharePoint Update List Item Workflow

How do I pass my SPO parameters, such as the ID of a Document Library List to my SharePoint Update List Workflow?  I click on the Nintex but (orange and white) and then no workflows show up to select. I would like to select a record in my SharePoint Online Document Library and then pass the ID of the record that I want to edit to the workflow. How would I do this?
