Nintex Workflow

Good day.  We are converting our workflows from N365 over to Nintex Workflow Cloud.  In N365, if multiple people are assigned a task, and 1 person completes it, the other people are notified that the task no longer requires a response essentially letting everyone know the task was completed by someone.  I don’t see an option for this in the new Nintex Workflow Cloud.  Was this functionality taken away?  Is there a way to accomplish this? 

Hi,I have a question and not sure if there is any way to do this or not…So I am using a NAC workflow and have a “Branch by stage” setup.  In the first stage, the approver is setup so they can update a field in the original form through their approval task. I tested this and saw that the original form was updated but how do the new values carry over to update the approval task form for the next approver? Is that even possible?  

Good afternoon, I am writing to ask if there is a known, best practice for preventing failures in Nintex when writing to SharePoint for attachments, when a duplicate file is loaded. Specifically, when in Nintex a task can be repeated and therefore allows the user to potentially load the same file multiple times, which causes a failure in Nintex. We have discovered potential fixes, but am curious to know if there is a most efficient workaround/method for solving/preventing this.  Thank you!

Hi,While reviewing the Partnership portal, we noticed an issue with some certifications completed by a new team member.The certifications do not appear assigned to the new hire’s profile. Instead, they are showing as assigned to my profile as a “copy”, even though I have only completed those certifications once.Additionally, when downloading or viewing the certifications, the name displayed on them corresponds to the new team member, not mine.Could you please help us understand what might have happened in this case, and advise where or with whom we can request further information or support to clarify and correct this?Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello,I have a WF built in NAC that uses a Branch by stage action depending on 3 conditions. Under each branch I have condition actions looking for an amount, how many months and if a field is “ticked” to yes or no (boolean).If in the middle of the process an amount is changed, the stage would need to be exited and the instance would need to cycle back around and be reevaluated, conditions checked so that it can fall into the correct stage.I noticed that when I exit the stage to cycle back through, it falls into the same stage. Its like it continues to see the original values and not the new ones…How are new values that are updated in the form able to be recognized so that the instance will fall into the right stage? 

I want to be able to submit a form with a repeating section in NWC to SharePoint online list item. I want the SharePoint online form to display that same data in a repeating section. The formats are not compatible. How is anyone accomplishing this? Frustrating that there is no consistency between the Repeating sections data formats.

Hi all, I’m pretty new to the Nintex world. I am creating a workflow that i want in the end to query daily to send reminders for due dates that are 2 months out. To further explain….I have a SharePoint list already set up. There is a column called due date. I want my workflow to look at the list daily and remind me when the due date is 2 months from today’s date. I currently have it set as a scheduled start event.

I have been using Nintex Cloud and build many workflows with it. I’m trying to workout one particular workflow and update the same in sharepoint on prem and it is weird that every time the item gets created without any issue. Once it reaches the update item I get the error “Received an error response from the connector: NotFound, ResponseStatus: Completed -”; I cannot understand why it behaves so only for this workflow as I have done the same steps in all my previous workflows. I am exhausted coz i have tried to make new connections, rebuild things but everytime it throws the same error. I had raised support ticket but to no avail. Any experts who can solve this issue so that I can make some progress in it?

Hi I hope you are well. I am building a Nintex form using Nintex workflow cloud and pulling data from salesforce. There is a data lookup to pull the data Type as a list. The end user would select a Type from the drop down and then the items associated with the selected Type would be displayed on the repeating sections. There are varied numbers of items associated with each Type selected. My questions are How do I design the repeating section to be dynamic ie number of repeating sections should automatically change to the number of items associated with the Type selected? If say Type A is selected and Type A has 5 items associated with it, I would like to have 5 repeating sections and each of the 5 items should automatically be populated on each row.  Please advise how to achieve this. Thank you

Setup:Parallel paths split into two branches. Branch 1 has task 1, and branch 2 has task 2. The completion condition is true so it will complete if only a single branch is complete.  Issue:Both tasks are assigned and created, but if Task 1 is completed causing the parallel paths to complete, the Task 2 is still available and can be complete even if the flow has already processed actions past the parallel paths action. How can we have Task 2 be invalid or inactive and not show up in the assignee’s My Nintex tasks once the parallel paths have been completed? 

In DocGen, I created a email to go to a list of people. One of the email addresses has a & symbol: emea.o&C.commercial@marriott.com.  When the email sends from the system, it changes the email to emea.o&c.commercial@marriott.com and the email comes back undeliverable.How can I fix this?  Or is ‘&’ not usable?

Hello Everyone,We have a requirement to put restrictions on date selection(Stage 3), if the user selects Internal/External in the Start form and Stage 3 has Board Approval Yes/No. I’ve had a look at the rules but could not find a way to put restrictions on the date. HiI am using the Nintex Workflow Cloud platform to develop a form which is long and may take a few months to complete. I have explored the option of saving the form each time part of it is completed but the form needs to be completed in 30 days which isn’t possible for what is is intended for. Could this period be extended? If yes by how long? I have also explored the option of having the form offline but I can’t seem to find the option to enable form “Availability offline” from the form properties. I am using QA Nintex Workflow Cloud to test the workflow and then recreate in prod when it’s working okay. Please could you advise on how I can get the form offline. Also, how else can I configure the form to give me the ability to complete it over a long period of time. Thanks 

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to send out a notification anytime a field in a responsive form is modified. I tested this by  using a  the “SharePoint - Update list item” but it continuously runs and multiple notifications continue to push out… I don’t see within the conditions to select “modified date” anywhere. Is there another way to attack this?

I am working on establishing a standard process for deploying Nintex workflows and forms across Dev, Test, Build, and Prod environments, instead of relying solely on key-based exports. The issue with keys is that they have expiration dates and can expire before QA/UAT approvals are finished, and generating new keys doesn't align with compliance requirements for standard promotion procedures. To address this, I would like to use the Export/Import packaged workflow APIs. My preference is to export workflows as packages, store them in a Git repository, and then import them from the repo to higher environments as approvals are completed. I need assistance with saving the response from the Export a packaged workflow API (https://us.nintex.io/workflows/v1/designs/package/export) and importing it via API (https://us.nintex.io/workflows/v1/designs/package/import) into higher environments. i am having challenge of preparing query parameter and handling

My workflow is pretty simple:I have a starting form with a repeating section. My goal is to generate an Excel file with the data from the repeating section. When I run the workflow, the Excel file is generated with only one row, corresponding to the data from the first row of the repeating section. How should I proceed to get the other rows? Am I missing a loop? See attach, my template and the generated file.

I may be wrong about this, but I was hoping for confirmation on a possible change in the way hidden controls work. I know that if a control is directly hidden, it will not pass a value into the flow, but that doesn’t seem to have been the case if the control is visible but in a hidden group. For the past year, I’ve operated with the understanding that a control itself has to be set to visible to pass a value to the flow. Today, however, I noticed that a visible control in a hidden group no longer passes the value. It was a couple years ago when I was learning Nintex that I found out about how the visible controls in a hidden field work, and so I may have not fully understood it. So, I wanted to see if something has changed in the way a control’s value is handled from inside a hidden group.

I have a component workflow for which I want to move - dynamically names files from one folder to another IF a certain condition is met.  BUT I will not necessarily know the file ID but will know a part of the file name and the dynamic file folder.  So I tried query list to pull the Library in using  variable and I KNOW the folder and subfolders exists along with the file as an earlier branch has created them and I can actually see them in SharePoint.  BUT the workflow keeps saying the folder does not exist.Wondered if the query list was returning nothing and that’s the  cause of the failure.Oh and Retrieve item returns something but I cannot use it as a collection for a Loop for each action.
