A customer recently reached out with a complex document generation scenario requiring a specific format for their repeating fields. They needed to pass a variety of variables including collections to a component workflow via a webhook and then generate a repeating table from this data. The first thing we needed to do in this situation is to parse the data in the collection out into multiple collections, the amount of collections will depend on how many individual data points you want to pull from the initial collection.  In this case the customer parsed out 2 data points into two separate collections. Now you might think that we could just generate the repeating table with the two collections.  Setting up your template for the repeating table like this. This however did not give us the result we were look

I recently was asked for what the top 10 features are in K2, and it got me thinking. DocuSign has announced a change for authentication techniques by deprecating legacy authentication and OAuth 1.0 protocols. Since August 2021, any new API applications integrating with DocuSign must use the OAuth 2.0 authentication flow. By October 4, 2022, all existing DocuSign customers and partners integrating with DocuSign must be updated to use OAuth 2.0, including applications already in production. There are many ways to start a workflow in Nintex Workflow Cloud (NWC)...such as, submitting an NWC form, on a schedule or even by updating a record in Salesforce. One common way in which NWC workflow starts is based on items being created or updated in SharePoint Online. Hi, Everyone, I wanted to let you know that changes are coming soon to how you can authenticate for sending and receiving email using a Gmail or Exchange Online account. Google is turning off Basic authentication at the end of this month (May 2022) and Microsoft is doing it on October 1st, 2022. This means that after this time you cannot use a username and password in your email connection in RPA to send, receive, and work with emails from these systems in your botflows. For Google you can setup what's known as an App Password and use that in your RPA connection. Many of you are doing this today. However, the plan is to release an updated version of RPA in the coming weeks that allows you to use OAuth for Gmail. Google is not going to remove support for App Passwords so if you're using that today you won't have to do anything come June 1st, 2022. At some time before October 1st, 2022, we'll release an updated version of RPA to handle OAuth f

Excel as Middleware is one of my favorite functionality with Drawloop, however it's hard to wrap your head around it at first or what kind of use cases are best for using this functionality. As there's millions of ways to use this functionality, here's an example of one that I see often that gets asked which is to separate the value from multi-picklist fields.  Here's a quick recap on how iExcel as Middleware works: You can push Salesforce data from Excel and manipulate the data on how you would like it to look like. Filling a large form can be time consuming and it may not be possible to fill out the form in one sitting. By utilizing the new Save and Continue feature available for authenticated Start forms, participants are now able to save the progress and resume it later without the need to start over.   It is super easy to enable Save for a form. All you have to do to is navigate to the Action panel in the forms designer and enable the Save button as shown in the image below.  When the workflow is published, participants will have the option to fill in part of the form and save and come back to continue from where they stopped at a later time.   To return to the saved draft form, n
