Hi, I have a requirement to have textboxes aligned next to each of the checkbox in a CheckboxList. I am using a Choice control and binded it with a smart object (All Company names) and set the display type to Check box list. Can we dynamically add textboxesnext to checkbox while the control is getting rendered? Please shed some light on how we can achieve this functionality. Attached is the to-be functionality. ThanksLalit Kanchi 

I used the format date and time function(format(date, yyyymmdd) to convert 20*personal details removed* to 20180101.But what I get is 20180001. The month value is incorrect. I have tried various date values and I get same result.

Hi, I want to remove the permission for list which may be a user or a group or both the user and the group . I have used Remove List Permission Component to do so . By using that component i can only remove the user/Group/Both manually by selecting thoose in  confuguration part. It doesnt provide any option to drag and drop the fields to remove dynamically.And i see the Rule[Remove list item user or group] which is used to remove the List item Permission Dynamically,but we dont have any rules to remove the list permission............................please provide any solution to remove the list permission dynamically. 

At the moment the email task notifications are not being sent from the server. I have seen this in our test environment, and found that by rebooting the server it solved the problem. I would like to know which services need to be restarted so that the email notifications can be sent. The mailbox for the server is setup correctly, and the mailbox can send and receive email tasks, it is definitely a service, but which one???

Hi All, Is it possible to integrate NAS with K2. Is there any servvice broker available for the same? I need to create a folder structure using dynamic path content and then fetch the docs from there later. I only found references for K2 and Sharepoint library. Please Help...I have created a workflow that sents an email to manager for approval action. Am using a smartforms client event to send the notification to the manager  but after I deployed the workflow it doesn't show an errors or sent a notification.

Is it possible to prefill a smartform with "data" based on the logged on user ID. I have a Smartobject that uses Smartbox to store the data. I have created an Item View for this smartobject that has a CREATE method. This view has data fields that I could like to prefill based on the current user name (System Values - Current User - Name) and a lookup in Active Directory. This could either be done when the view inizalises or when the user clicks a "Prefill" button on the view or form. I would like to prefill fields/controls like First name, Surname, Department and so forth. I am a complete new beginner with K2 Smartforms, so please explain in basic steps.

Ok, This is weird, no matter what i try, it doesn't work Got a Visible Text Area for users to enter text into.I then have a hidden Data label with an en expression to put the contents of the Text Area into the Data label. Up to now this works But in my rules, i then hide the Text Area and show the Data Label, but it's blank.... why? I'm doing this because when creating a PDF from a text area, it cuts off everything, so tranferring the contents to a Data Label should auto-size it. But for some reason it's not working when doing this in HIDE, SHOW control rules.... Any ideas?

Hello all, I am new to K2. I am using K2 Designer to build a workflow for a simple request approval process. (4 levels of manager approval)I have connected the company AD domain with K2. But our AD does not have a hierarchy. What should I do with the manager approval step? According to the tutorial I watched, when I build the workflow, I drag and drop the "Manager"role to the manager approval step. But I know this will not work without hierarchy in AD.Is there any other outside table in the database that I can build and maintain for this?How could I solve this problem? I think it is a common question for those companies without hierarchy in AD. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a simple workflow to send reminder emails to external clients.  A screenshot of it is below.   Running it today for the first time in PROD on the 4th record of the "For Each" event, there was a missing date field which caused the workflow to fail.  (as part of the for/each parameters it is looking for records with a date = TODAY()). So...I went ahead and updated the date field and put a date in there, then clicked "RETRY" on the Management console.  Well, BIG MISTAKE!  The workflow went into an infinite loop and sent out multiple identical emails over and over again.  There seemed to be little rhyme or reason as to what records were getting repeated. I had to stop our PROD service instance (whcih got me into huge trouble with the bosses) (and by the way I think is a HORRIBLE bug in K2 where clicking "Stop" on a a workflow really does not stop it...) in order to stop the workflow...plus dozens of external customers got multiple emails. Hi all, Wondering if anyone can help with this little idea i want to implement. So i'm doing a form that uses autocomplete about 3 times, so the form does 3x lots of Autocomplete POPULATE actions in the Initializing Rule.When the form loads, The user will think "Hey dude/dudette, what's that spinny wheel thing goes on there" while the form loads.... it takes about *personal details removed* seconds. So i've put in a Label to say the form is loading in the Initializing Rule, and then remove the Label in the Initialized rule. Now, what i have in mind is some kind of Countdown timer, is it possible to gauge the load time and have a Countdown timer (like you get when K2 service is restarted and the forms take a while to load, k2 have that countdown timer) on the Initializing Rule? It's just that i find that it will give the users something to look at and distract them while the form loads up. My other question is, the three populate rules all pull data from the same smartobject, so is ther

Hi I am using Create Reference wizard in a sub workflow. Within Create Reference wizard, I am using a SQL StoredProcedure SmartObject "[dbo].[PWR_spGetForm]" to create a reference of, which has only one List method (execute method in SQL). I selected smartobject, selected Method and specified Reference name as "dbo_PWRspGetForm Reference". Then I assign a Data Field to the input parameter of smart object. then Finish. After Create Reference wizard, I am using For Each wizard and using the "dbo_PWRspGetForm Reference" for looping. But when this sub workflow runs, it thorws an error saying, "Item reference with system name dbo_PWRspGetForm could not be found." with Source "Create Reference Event" how should I resolve this issue please. Thanks.

Is it possible to find out permissions on a document in Workflow? For example, documents are stored in a SharePoint library, when a user checks out a document, I want to kick off a workflow to notify users who have access to document.Thanks

Hi, Is there any way of getting the Calendar to DISPLAY only YEARS? I don't mean the date that appears once you've selected it, I mean the actual Calendar control so that it only displays YEARS and not days for example? Thanks

Hi, I am building a workflow using K2 Designer. and a customised form to display the worklist items for each user. in order to open the worklist item by using customised worklist form, I need to provide the following parameters in the querystring:1) _State 2) FormId 3) SerialNo (1) above can be hardcoded. I can retrieve (2) above but I am unable to retrieve (3). The serial number is broken as ProcessInstId_ActivityInstDestId. I can only get ProcessInstId. How do I get the ActivityInstanceDestinationId in K2 Designer in order to add to the query string and show the form correctly to the user?Also how to retrieve _State instead of hardcoding it, would be much better. Many thanks

I would like to create a service instance but the attached error was found. It was fine for other web services except this time.Web service with wsdl was used here.The correct service url was typed (covered up due to authorization issue), for the metadata url, I have tried serval:i.e. http://....svc, http://....svc?wsdl, http://....svc?singleWsdl Does anyone know how do fix this problem? Or perhaps, what are the possible causes that I could look up?I am curious, metadata is auto-gen, so is it possible that the problem is not in the code itself? ps I do not have the access to the base code. Nor could try the test with WFC Client.Thank you! I could provide more information when needed please just tell.

environmentK2 Blackpearl 4.7sharepoint online It has been a long time since I have worked in K2, so please excuse my ignorance if I am missing something obvious here. I am trying to use K2 Studio to create a document approval workflow that is triggered when a document is uploaded to a document library in sharepoint online. I have created a new project and blank process in K2 StudioFrom the "Process Wizards" section, I dragged "Sharepoint 2013" onto the process design canvasI choose the site I want to connect toIn the "list or Library" drop down, I can only choose 1 list, and it is not the one that I want... How do I get the other lists/libraries to show up? I have tried the following:- creating a smart object on the library- refreshing the category in the object browser- testing the smartobject with the testing tool- crearing new projects/processesnothing has worked. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks in advance for any assistance

I have a data entry form with some controls, and then an editable listthe editable list has 2 fields for data entryif i add rows, and add data correctly,and press submit,my data is entered correctly into SQL if i enter data correctly,and then if i add a row by mistake, and not add any data to the fields.  i press submit, and my data saves, but my correctly entered line of data doesn't get updated into SQL correctly i have 2 attachments to show the entry formwith 1 entry set, and then a blank linethe 2nd attachment shows SQL not saving the data correctly

hi, I have created a package of SmartForms with their dependencies by K2 deployment tool, so, I copied that package to the staging (test) server to deploy it.The package deploying has done successfully, but this error has appeared, before I click finish button. "DatabaseName on DatabaseServer service instance:A connection was successfully established with the server,but could not connect to the database supplied or database could not be found"Any help plese?Thanks,
