Process Manager

Hi there, at Defence Bank we currently use Elcom CMS as our intranet. Our current library of procedures are PDF documents uploaded into folders. As we migrate to Promapp, we need to manage the transition. Our thinking was to use minimode links however that doesn't allow users to access embedded processes. We're seeking advice from anyone who has successfully integrated Promapp with an intranet that's other than Sharepoint so we better understand what options are open to us.

Hi Team - I am unsure whether process review dates are supposed to update to a new date when a process has been reviewed. I have some processes that have been reviewed and (PAW) approved, yet the review date still shows from last year. Cheers, Julian

Hiya Nintex Community,I'm unable to find clear documentation on how to best utilise/best practices around process linking. This is important to include in Process Modelling Standards manual within the organisation I'm working for. Normally in process modelling I'd have a graphical represetation of a incoming process interface and outgoing process interface to that the entire end to end process is linked together i.e. a way to break-up a "Mega" process into smaller more manageable smaller processes that linked together create the entire end to end process. In Promapp, I can utilse:Triggers & Inputs for the incoming process interface Outputs & Targets for the outgoing process interface

Hi, I know this question was asked and answered back in June 2016 but I wondered if there had been any updates in the 4 years since. Is there any option to export from Promapp and into Visio?I know I can export from Promapp in XML but I don't think I can import into Visio with XML.  What is the recommend approach if an organisation wants to move away from Promapp to a lesser tool? Thanks,Nick

Hi there, Is there anyway to get a view of the improvements down the action list created? We need a wider view of the improvements rather than just the number and title view shown on the front page. Is this capability available through the API or not through Promapp itself? Thanks, Eleanor

How can I reassign related ToDos and Reviews, that were previously created on a process, before it moved to a new Expert? They didn't automatically move to the Expert.

An organisation is wanting to determine how their project rollout has went in year one. If you have experience on assessing your first year how did you do this? What suprised you and what went well?   If you could also comment on size of organisation and resourcing, that would be great. Also, for bonus points, if you can share your approach structure (centralised, decentralised, etc.).

I wish to create a end to end process map at a high level at this point of all Activities undertaken from decision to recruit at through to sucessful applicant and loading employee details into HR system to payment for time and attendance. The important information in the map is the timeframes. If it was Viso you would put a time line running along the top of your map. The information is vital because if things are not done within a time frame then the next piece of the process cannot happen. People dont get paid. How best can this be done in Promapp. Any ideas are useful

If there was an option to insert a table as a task and then simply edit the row or column details changed you would simply have to update that table as opposed to update the excel or word document, JPEG then insert the updated excel or word document

Hiya Nintex Community,I am trying to add processes to a Process Group. I select multiple process to add but everytime I try to save I get the following error message: Save Failed: Could not find Linked Process for ProcessLink: "Process_name":"Process_name"  In the processes, I do have them linked both in the Triggers & Inputs and Outputs and Targets and this is represented in the procedure as a "Link to a process" in their definition as below:

Have a bit of a funny one.. I have 4 processes that although I am in edit mode, I can't create parrallels - the options are greyed out and won't let me select.I am a Promaster and currently the Process Expert and Owner of these. Can do it no problems with other processes - is this an odd glitch that I can fix or should I archive and recreate? Thanks in advance, Sam  

Seems like the "Approve All" buttons on the "My Changes" dashboard seems to be no longer available, although it's still referred to in the help.  Is this a defect or is there a new way to approve all of the outstanding items?

We added a "reference no." to a process but then decided against having it.  However, we deleted the reference but it's still showing (prefixing) in the process title?  Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

My company is looking to build out our Coronavirus response plan to provide both information and capture the decsion process that will need to be made on various topics.  Our goal is to have something easy for our employees, HR and Leaders to follow.   Looking to see if anyone has already done this in Promapp and is interested in sharing.   Chris

I would like to extend the current mapping available in Promapp to include downstream relationships between the systems used in the processes captured. So a process is captured and it reference a system, but that system have a reliance on other systems to do its thing and I want to use the existing information managed in promapp to get an ultimate mapping from the front end Customer Service --> Processes we use to provide that service --> the systems used during those processes --> the back end services and systems that supports that system. The Promapp capability can give me the mapping all the way to the systems but no deeper. Is there a way to do the last step. Can I create new systems and then define relationships between those systems?

Anyone here using the Training and Onboarding module of Promapp? - What is the difference between Training Units and Competency Units?  - For competency, is there a way to test a user on what they have learnt, via a questionnaire? How does the supervisor assessment work?

How can I show a list of processes according to a system that have been tagged within the workflow?

We have created a hierarchy of processes using process groups. The top level group (call it process group 1) contains four other process groups (lets call them 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d). Within each of those four groups, there are a number of processes. When the top level group is shared, you can click into group 1a (minimode) but the message below is shown when you try to click in one of the processes contained within that group. 'This process requires special permission(s) to view it. Use "My Profile" from the tools menu to request permissions if appropriate' I'm a promaster and I still get this message. We'd like to share the processes at the group level to show how they all fit together. Is this possible?This process requires special permission(s) to view it. U

Hi Friends,   Is there a way or a setting by which promapp can send reminder emails about out of date processes directly to process owners and experts when its due or overdue?   Not everyone logins to promapp everyday to see which processes are due for review so its very hard to get these processes reviewed just in time.   Currently, promapp sends a monthly (daily and weekly will be like bombarding users with emails) reminder email to people who have any notification (red bubble) showing on their dashboard. Has anyone faced this similar issue? What is the best possible resolution?   Thanks,

Hi all Does anyone know if PROMAPP allows the map (tab) view of a process to be auto adjusted to fit any window/screen.  I don't like having to zoom out, and resize other parts of the window every single time I go to the map tab.  I just want to see my entire map automatically.  Is there a way to make it permanently auto-adjust itself?  

Hi, I have an overarching process that only contains links to other processes (let's call them sub-processes). I've updated the title of one of the sub-processes but that's not being reflected in the overarching process. Is there any way to do this apart from deleting the sub-process from the overarching process and inserting it again? Thanks!  

We are looking to document how we deliver training (as a how to) using promapp and wondered if anyone else was doing this and had a process they could share or any tips they could impart. Cheers Anthony

When adding a decision in a process flow, promapp doesn't allow to add more than 1 activity (sometimes, what you need is just 2 or 3 activities, not another process) on a YES or NO outcome.The CONTINUE option just lets you continue with the rest of the process flow.Its not ideal to create another process with 2-3 activities as the activities are part of the current process based on a YES/NO outcome.  Hope Promapp fixes this soon.
