RACI - Bulk Completion

We have a number of processes that require the same RACI information.  Rather than having to complete this one process at a time, is there a way the selected processes could have the RACI information updated in one hit?

Promapp terribly slow

Good afternoon Is anyone else having issues with Promapp going terribly slow?  This started happening about 2 weeks ago and had been working fine up until then.  It can take a minute or so sometimes to save a minor change in a process. Whilst it is mostly slow when edits are being made, it can happen when you are just flicking between views, i.e. map view/procedural view/edit view.  This can be very embarrassing when working with staff across the organisation because their time is precious.  It is also embarrassing when you are presenting to leaders.   Is anyone else having similar issues?  Does anyone know why this may have started happening just recently?  By process of elimination, nothing has changed at my end.  The circle of death is becoming tiresome....   Help!  Thanks   Helen

Additional Process Editor and does the Process Team Get Notified someone else changed their process?

Hi - we just used the posted solution on how to add additional process editors so they can ... edit process other than their own at the Group level. My question is  for the initial Process Team (User, Expert and Owner) - how are they informed of a change to their process when an additional editor did a change. Do they get informed? Our testing indicates that after an additional editor changed the process, the initial process team did not get notified that the process was changed. There wasn't any indication in their Dashboard for Process Changes. Should the initial Process Team get  notified, maybe they and I am doing something wrong? There are other means to indicate to the initial Process Team that someone edited their process - i.e. use the Feedback functionality. Looking for experience or opinions here, because perhaps this could be an enhancement. Thanks - Srinee @ Sun Life Financial.

Promapp is designed to track policy / process development.  Is there a feature in Promapp whereby readers can acknowledge receipt and confirm application of a change?

Who gets notified when I suggest a process?

staff have been suggesting processes but these haven't been easily identified by those that are meant to be creating the process.  Who actually gets notification if someone suggests a process.  Or as Promaster, is it up to me to review this and send them to the owner/expert (if named) in the process suggestion?  thanks

Acknowledging on a mobile device

Hi. I am using the onboarding and training module and I require a trainee to acknowledge they have completed a process. hen accessing it on a mobile I am unable to acknowledge this as it does not display correctly. Can you help please?

Elcom intranet integration

Hi there, at Defence Bank we currently use Elcom CMS as our intranet. Our current library of procedures are PDF documents uploaded into folders. As we migrate to Promapp, we need to manage the transition. Our thinking was to use minimode links however that doesn't allow users to access embedded processes. We're seeking advice from anyone who has successfully integrated Promapp with an intranet that's other than Sharepoint so we better understand what options are open to us.

Process Review Dates

Hi Team - I am unsure whether process review dates are supposed to update to a new date when a process has been reviewed. I have some processes that have been reviewed and (PAW) approved, yet the review date still shows from last year. Cheers, Julian

Process Linking Best Practice - Linking from one process to the next to create an end to end process

Hiya Nintex Community,I'm unable to find clear documentation on how to best utilise/best practices around process linking. This is important to include in Process Modelling Standards manual within the organisation I'm working for. Normally in process modelling I'd have a graphical represetation of a incoming process interface and outgoing process interface to that the entire end to end process is linked together i.e. a way to break-up a "Mega" process into smaller more manageable smaller processes that linked together create the entire end to end process. In Promapp, I can utilse:Triggers & Inputs for the incoming process interface Outputs & Targets for the outgoing process interfaceHowever, when I use this functionality there is no grpahical representation of the process interface on the map of the procedure:I find it good practice to graphical represent the both the incoming and outgoing process interfaces.  Even though I have linked the processes in Inputs and Outputs, there

Export from Promapp to Visio

Hi, I know this question was asked and answered back in June 2016 but I wondered if there had been any updates in the 4 years since. Is there any option to export from Promapp and into Visio?I know I can export from Promapp in XML but I don't think I can import into Visio with XML.  What is the recommend approach if an organisation wants to move away from Promapp to a lesser tool? Thanks,Nick

Improvement Action View By User or Group

Hi there, Is there anyway to get a view of the improvements down the action list created? We need a wider view of the improvements rather than just the number and title view shown on the front page. Is this capability available through the API or not through Promapp itself? Thanks, Eleanor

Transferring a Process to a new Expert leaves ToDos and Reviews orphaned

How can I reassign related ToDos and Reviews, that were previously created on a process, before it moved to a new Expert? They didn't automatically move to the Expert.

Process Growth in Year One

An organisation is wanting to determine how their project rollout has went in year one. If you have experience on assessing your first year how did you do this? What suprised you and what went well?   If you could also comment on size of organisation and resourcing, that would be great. Also, for bonus points, if you can share your approach structure (centralised, decentralised, etc.).

On-boarding and paying an employee end to end process

I wish to create a end to end process map at a high level at this point of all Activities undertaken from decision to recruit at through to sucessful applicant and loading employee details into HR system to payment for time and attendance. The important information in the map is the timeframes. If it was Viso you would put a time line running along the top of your map. The information is vital because if things are not done within a time frame then the next piece of the process cannot happen. People dont get paid. How best can this be done in Promapp. Any ideas are useful

Create the ability to insert table as an activity or task

At the moment you must create a JPEG of a table and then insert the word or excel document the table has come from and repeat the process every time. If there was an option to insert a table as a task and then simply edit the row or column details changed you would simply have to update that table as opposed to update the excel or word document, JPEG then insert the updated excel or word document

Process Group Overview Save Failed: Could not find Linked Process for ProcessLink

Hiya Nintex Community,I am trying to add processes to a Process Group. I select multiple process to add but everytime I try to save I get the following error message: Save Failed: Could not find Linked Process for ProcessLink: "Process_name":"Process_name"  In the processes, I do have them linked both in the Triggers & Inputs and Outputs and Targets and this is represented in the procedure as a "Link to a process" in their definition as below:  Whay can't I save the linked processes in the process group when I select all the linked processes at once that form the Process Group? What am I doing wrong?

Unable to create parallels in a process

Have a bit of a funny one.. I have 4 processes that although I am in edit mode, I can't create parrallels - the options are greyed out and won't let me select.I am a Promaster and currently the Process Expert and Owner of these. Can do it no problems with other processes - is this an odd glitch that I can fix or should I archive and recreate? Thanks in advance, Sam

Approve all option no longer available

Seems like the "Approve All" buttons on the "My Changes" dashboard seems to be no longer available, although it's still referred to in the help.  Is this a defect or is there a new way to approve all of the outstanding items?

Removing a reference number

We added a "reference no." to a process but then decided against having it.  However, we deleted the reference but it's still showing (prefixing) in the process title?  Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Has anyone used Promapp to build a Coronavirus response plan

My company is looking to build out our Coronavirus response plan to provide both information and capture the decsion process that will need to be made on various topics.  Our goal is to have something easy for our employees, HR and Leaders to follow.   Looking to see if anyone has already done this in Promapp and is interested in sharing.   Chris

Systems Mapping

I would like to extend the current mapping available in Promapp to include downstream relationships between the systems used in the processes captured. So a process is captured and it reference a system, but that system have a reliance on other systems to do its thing and I want to use the existing information managed in promapp to get an ultimate mapping from the front end Customer Service --> Processes we use to provide that service --> the systems used during those processes --> the back end services and systems that supports that system. The Promapp capability can give me the mapping all the way to the systems but no deeper. Is there a way to do the last step. Can I create new systems and then define relationships between those systems?

Anyone here using the Training and Onboarding module of Promapp? - What is the difference between Training Units and Competency Units?  - For competency, is there a way to test a user on what they have learnt, via a questionnaire? How does the supervisor assessment work?
