My org wants to be able to see the user comments associated with Incident, investigation, etc. Is that data exposed in the API, or is there a way to write Json to extract this data? Schema? Thanks.
Promapp Incident: Export Comment fields for Incident, Investigation, Actions externally (API)

The only way to get this information out of Promapp at this time, is to export to CSV options from the Improvement register. I don't believe is is available as port of the Improvements reporting API. Posting this as an idea for future development on our Uservoice page will be your best option (https://nintex.uservoice.com/).
