I am trying to encode and decode a textbox control I am using for password collection. A friend of mine gave me the script below, but I cannot get it to work. I have never used javascript before. My text box name is “Password” and I have 2 data labels already set up one for encode and one for decode. But I cannot figure out how to get this to work. Does anyone know?<script>var rtxt ='Text'; var encodedString = window.btoa( rtxt ); $('span[Name="dl_Encoded"]').SFCLabel('option','text', encodedString); var rtxt ='Text'; var decodedString = window.atob( encodedString ); $('span[Name="dl_Decoded"]').SFCLabel('option','text', decodedString);</script>
Is there a way to send approvals to a new owner/expert of a process without it having to go to the previous owner/expert?
Why are we running a Closed Advanced Preview (AP) program? Process modeling is an additional approach to process management that we’re introducing to Nintex Process Manager, and we want to use an advanced preview program to enable customers to get an early hand on with the new capability and start seeing value while also making sure that Nintex has prioritized the right features related to process modeling before they are rolled out to the larger customer base. The Advanced Preview program will be capped at 50 participants, to ensure the technology is rigorously tested, we will be selecting the most suitable candidates to participate. How long will the Advanced Preview run for? Advanced Preview will run for 12 weeks.*(tentative) If I’m accepted for the Process Modeling Closed Advanced Preview program – What's expected of me? Applications for Advanced Preview are encouraged by current Nintex Process Manager customers and Partners but only those who are able and willing to:
Recently created a map and added an additional approver. When submitting for final approval, the additional approver did not receive a notification via email. Nor did they actually approve it. How can we make sure the additional approver is approving the process map on the first submission?
Hi there,I cannot find the forum for making suggestions for product improvement ideas. Could you please supply me the link please. Thanks,Mark
If two contributors edit a process at the same time, there is no indication of a conflict until you save and get an error saying you can't save because you're not in the current version. People have lost work and are very frustrated with the product. Also, when more than one person edits and saves a process at the same time, it has caused their accounts to have problems finding and opening the process afterward. This is reproducible, and is impacting adoption. An automatic checkout (check out, lock) when you start editing, and an error right away if someone else is already editing, would same much time, lost work and frustration with using Promapp. Please correct me if I’m wrong and missed something. Or, vote here to support adding a checkout function to Promapp.
Hey guys, I’m working with the prehistoric sharepoint 2019 on premises version of nintex, and I am facing an issue. Would any of you know how to solve or know of a work around for the following problem.I want the keyuser to be able to assign people that need to give feedback on a document. I used an assign flexi task that sends emails to the people in a collection which is filled from the form in the item properties of the document. Unfortunately, the feedback column in the assign flexi task appends responses multiple times instead of just once. How can I resolve this issue in a task?I have added a powerpoint presentation including images that describe the issue of saving feedback twice instead of once per task. I look forward to hearing from you guys. Kind regards, Imtiaz
Hi, I have seen a few demo videos of a sub-process that expands within the main process instead of being linked. There is a expand button on the bottom right corner. It can be toggled on or off to expand or contact the sub-process. Does anyone know how to do this?
Hi, Is there any workaround to add and display timeline to process maps in Promapp? And when I say timeline, I don’t mean how long does it take. I mean the start time for each activity. For example, we have a process that occur over a 16-week period and I want to display what are the activities happening on week 16 that’s leading to what are happening on week 15 and so on.Kind Regards,Umme
Wondering why the view is like this and I can’t see the maps or procedures?
Has anyone attempted to combine a chat bot with the information contained within Promapp?I’m interested to know if anyone has attempted to provide internal users with some Q&A functionality using a chat bot as we’re considering testing this as a concept to improve the accessibility of the content within Promapp and also provide Q&A functionality to our users.Initially this would be based on predetermined rules but might rely on some ‘smart’ functionality to improve results based on previous performance and then potentially advanced using any AI functionality available in the 3rd party chatbot.
What are the benefits of creating a dedicated intranet page for Promapp or is it worthwhile linking Promapp within established pages on the intranet? What are the key messages and content that is or should be covered within a dedicated Promapp page?
Is there a function to be able to time how long it takes to create a process? not to be confused with process timeframes i.e. how long it takes to perform the process.TIA
There are instances where activities can run in parallel by two teams in the organisation up to a certain point and then one team needs to wait for the other to finish a certain activity and then proceed. How can i show this in promap ? As an example swimlane "A" has activities 1,2,3 and swimlane "B" has activities 4,5,6. Activity 1 and 4 can run in parallel by the two teams independent of each other. The dependency is between 2 and 5. So once A has completed 2 only then team B can kick off 5. And then A can proceed with 3 independent of B and B can execute 6.
Is there a better way to do this? I have a user group who have built processes and attached over 100 images (documents). They ended up consolidating their processes with other groups, therefore moved their processes from one folder to other(s). I am not able to delete the original group folder they were in until I move (reassign) where each document is aligned to. I’m currently doing it one by one. Is there a better way to do this?
Hi, I’m just needing a little help to understand, if I make someone a Consulted Stakeholder in a process will they receive notifications of changes to the process - as it doesn’t say this in the RACI.Needing to ensure someone in our info services team is notified when the process is changed at all - but they are not the owner or expert. Help and Thanks
Hi,Just wondering if any other promapp user has created a generic process for creating new process variants (and/or global variants) that they might be willing to share (as an XML file to import)?I’ve got a ‘Create a new process in Promapp’ process and it would make a great addition to help users with the new variant processes. It seems quite inefficient for me to make something that I’m sure others might have created or possibly need.Eddie
Hi I tried to publish the flow, it throws an error says “Error connecting to workflow manager” to resolve this, I went to site settings, selected workflow settings, then selected workflow health. actually, it is a link. Here I should select “activate” option. but I am not able to find it in my screen. How to fix this.
Hi, we are getting the following error when setting up SSO. Has anyone received this and have any hints on how to troubleshoot?AADSTS650056: Misconfigured application. This could be due to one of the following: the client has not listed any permissions for 'AAD Graph' in the requested permissions in the client's application registration. Or, the admin has not consented in the tenant. Or, check the application identifier in the request to ensure it matches the configured client application identifier. Or, check the certificate in the request to ensure it's valid. Please contact your admin to fix the configuration or consent on behalf of the tenant. Client app ID: ae2b26eb-013c-4abd-bc42-ded96d44c0d9.
Hi we are new users to Promapp and about to embark on a first bulk upload of users. We are using the import template provided. We already have some users and roles and responsibilities populated so a bit nervous about over-writing or duplication. Does every column in the template have to be populated or is it optional based on what we need to import. Users are set up with SSO which are IT department manage so wondered for example if the email address column would need populating etc. Any hints and tips of what we should be considering would be appreciated. Thanks
After using Nintex Promapp for nearly a year, last week we were getting "The request was blocked" message when trying to access the Promapp URL. Has anyone else experienced or currently experiencing this?
Is there a way to put a customised message that will be on the homescreen when people log in to Promapp. eg. if we have a change that we want all users to see before they do a process - a pop up message would be a great way to communicate this.
I have looked at promapp configuration settings but unable to find where to edit the User Welcome Email. Have found how to switch them on and off. Could someone guide me to where this may be or is this done by a request to Nintex ? Thanks
Our company are mature users of Promapp with a global reach, having ingrained the use of Promapp processes in all of our operations at multiple regions across the world covering layers of organisational roles, we are keen to understand how long it may be until there is a bulk update solution of process "Owner" and process "Expert" updating? One by one manual updating of process owner and process experts is no longer a viable option in the fast paced industry we are in.
