What are the benefits of creating a dedicated intranet page for Promapp or is it worthwhile linking Promapp within established pages on the intranet?

What are the key messages and content that is or should be covered within a dedicated Promapp page?

One of the biggest benefits we've seen in linking Promapp directly to the intranet, is that it gives people a place to poke around a bit if they happen to have a question about what they're doing, but they don't necessarily want to talk to someone in that specific moment. Typically they can find their own answer pretty easily.

As far as key messages or content, ours contains info on what Promapp is, how we use it, why we use it, how and where to sign up for training, key contacts, training vids and supporting documentation, an FAQs page (which is added to as needed), and a calendar showing future training dates, drop in sessions or champion meetings, etc. Basically a simple spot where we can put any info related to the tool that someone may be curious about.

Intranet is great as a single source of truth for publishing your process culture documents, i.e.:
- process charter,
- process creation rulebook,
- process management framework,
- process governance roles and responsibilities, and
- process maturity roadmap.

Thanks for your comments,  very helpful!

Wondering what you say about champions meetings? Do you allow anyone who wants to to join? We invite specific people

We have a page to help people using Promapp that includes links to Promapp as well as a number of other resources, specifically:

  • List of Verbs
  • Process checklist (template and previous completed templates)
  • ‘How to create a process in Promapp’ process
  • Process audit template
  • Process Creation Rulebook
  • Promapp Documentation, Community, Ideas, Training, Release Notes, How To’s, YouTube Channels
  • Quick Reference Guide
  • Solution Accelerator Gallery
  • API reporting (from the api)
  • Links to some of the most useful training sections from Nintex

It’s really useful to direct people to as it has all the information anyone might need when using Promapp. I’ve also got a standard email message that includes some guidance and a link to the page that I can send out to new starters/new mappers.
