How do you remove the chunky top bar from a K2 List View?

Hi,I’ve added a List View into my form which will be used to display messages. Users edit an editable list, i then use a regular list view which is stripped back, just to show the message on the form.However, despite me trying the settings in the list view, I am unable to get it to get the chunky top bar to not display, any ideas how to achieve this?See attached pic Thanks

Hello guys, I have a problem on the training (Nintex Automation for Business Analysts)(APPS) I’ve finished 100% but i don’t know why its still 50% completed, and i can’t continue the other courses anyone know why ?

Add your own ICON to Column setting

Hi, Other than the ootb icons which you can select for the COLUMN ICON setting, can you set your own? I want to use simple things like Bullet points etc, but the icons are old school document type icons.

EndPoint Assembly service instance connection error during smart object execute method

Hi, I created new service instance from new custom DLL. generated smart object and while executing smart object getting attached error.and this is working fine in my dev environment where as issue is with Production environment. both environments are having same network settings.appreciated if some one can assist on this.  Best Regards,

Read access to SmartBox items created by current user

Hello,This is my first time I'm using SmarBox SmartObjects with item level permissions. I have read the documentation about configuration of SmartBox SmartObject Data Access policy configuration, but I can’t figure out how to configure Data Access policy to allow each user access only to those items witch is created by them self's?Can somebody help me on this?Kind regards

Decision activity in K2 workflow going to both the path

I have workflow with one decision activity. In decision activity i am checking condition If A=A follow “true” path Else follow “false” path. Sometime workflow is following both path “true” as well as “false”.  even if A=A in there. I am not sure why it is taking both path? Any one is having idea please help me to understand and fix the issue.

Editable list view - get list one column from another smart object

We are working on a checklist form for one of our departments, for creating checklist we have used editable list view so that each shift member can mark their own tasks for that it is required to fetch task list in one of the column on initializing the list view, but we are stuck as this is not working.

Custom Service Broker with a lot of DLL files

Hi everyone, I need some independent advice.A developer was given the task to write a custom service broker for K2 Five. I received a set of DLL files, one main DLL and dozens of other DLLs that are related to the frameworks used. If I were to deploy this to K2 Five, it means copying all those DLLs to "C:\Program Files\K2\ServiceBroker". This creates quite a mess of files there, in that directory, where it's not easy to know what's there "by default" by installing K2 and what's added there because of some custom broker. Isn't there some way to avoid this, e.g. having the main custom broker DLL and other related DLLs in some subdirectory?Thanks in advance for the opinions.

Invoke a HTTP POST request from K2

Hello, we are searching for sending a http request (POST) from K2.I found ways to send it from an dot NET assembly, from a powershell, form some applications like postman - but I fail to send this request out of K2 Can we maybe use any existing smart object for this task? Or do we have to create one by ourself? How?Or is it possible to execute a powershell out of K2? regards,Johann

Custom Translatable SmartObject Data

With K2 5.8, we've added translation support for SmartForms, but your data remains as it was captured. However, you can use the below example to display different values based on locale for any control that binds to a SmartBox object by utilizing the exposed out of the box Browser Culture field.Adding to your SmartObjectAdd a new Text property to your SmartObject called e.g., “Culture”. Can viewflow have stronger visibility to indicate which line and stages were activated?

Using 5.6  The color difference is subtle, especially when zoomed out.Can the active lines be thicker?

Send XML text in Email Event

Hi Team,I would like to send the below xml data into the email format but its not working . Its removing the tags ans send the data into simple text. K2 Menu System - JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.4.1

I don’t know if anyone who has used the K2 Menu System (https://community.nintex.com/archive-25/k2-menu-system-9347) on 5.7 in this regard encoutered...I did notice it since I upgraded today from 5.6 to 5.7 when I checked the console log.All and all, my investigation took me to this page…Has anyone encountered this issue, and if yes, what was your workaround?

My custom formula vanishes and is replaced by "Object"

Hi Team, I have been creating some custom formulas and today when wanting to edit one, it had vanished.This is how I have been creating them and what it should look like.But today when going to edit one, it shows this:When I test it in preview it works as intended. I spent a lot of time creating the formula, so I am hoping there is a way for me to recoup the code? Any advice is appreciated. Cheers,Benjamin.

Showing existing information on a workflow start event form

Hi all,I have looked and cannot see this mentioned elsewhere, apologies if it is.I want to create a simple start event form (well it started simple) just to add a new row to a SharePoint list.I want though to show the existing entries that are already on the list on the form to help stop duplications. Due to spelling differences and differing names cannot use validation. I can link the data and add a drop down. Does anyone know a way of adding a list if entries onto a form from a SharePoint column.Many thanks in advanceJamo

How to get workflow instance start data?

I configured a connection between DocuSign & Nintex, such that whenever a document is signed in DocuSign, it will trigger the Nintex workflow to run. But I also want to know the data about the “envelope” of the document that was signed DocuSign.  DocuSign sends some data over in JSON format.  I can see it in the “Instance start data” of my workflow instance.  The data is JSON formatted and looks like this: {  "event": "envelope-completed",  "apiVersion": "v2.1",  "uri": "/restapi/v2.1/accounts/b1b24acb-55cs-481f-bae8-a08a0dc16782/envelopes/23f266d9-ae08-4cc7-867b-c8c2d1c62641",  "retryCount": 0,  "configurationId": 10607268,  "generatedDateTime": "2024-08-16T17:00:53.1469999Z",  "data": { The only method I know to capture start data is to create a start variable in the workflow and name it the same as the incoming POST data, keeping in mind that Nintex will prefix “se_” to the name of the start variable.  But I don’t know how to capture the how object of JSON text that DocuSign sen

SmartObject Create in Workflow

Hello,I have a question since I feel somehow that I am stuck at the moment.The setup is a K2 Five Version 5.xx (Evaluation).In a MSSQL Database exists a table “products”.I created a Advanced Smart Object for this Table with the methods Read, Create, List, Delete, Update.In the Management application - /Categories/…/ I can call the create method from the smart object. This is working fine, the new product appears in the database.The Problem is:If I create a workflow, which has two Steps, first the “Task” - approval step. 2nd the SmartObject Create Step. WorkflowThe new Product won’t be created in the database.The Workflow completes without any error. In the Reporting from the Workflow the “Data Audit” shows me that all information from the Form are available in the Workflow. Also you can see all paths are green which indicates that the WF finished successfully.My question is, does anyone has an idea why the create method is working outside of a workflow but not within a workflow?greetz

Special filter in SmartObject event

I have a document library in SharePoint and want to query documents metadata by a SmartObject event in a workflow. When using SmartObject Services Tester tool I am able to execute the “Get Documents Metadata” method and add a custom filter. This configuration returns the desired documents metadata.Now I want to configure this SmartObject call in Designer in a workflow event. But I really have no idea, how to apply the custom filter in Designer. Thank you.

Internal Audit department process

Hello everyone, We are working on developing internal audit department’s process, this includes a whole system containing various documents to be a part of it, a user will save each document and after entering all record user will submit it to their Line managers.User will be entering data which will be multiple at steps and somewhere list view which will be editable.Kindly guide me if any approach that will be better for this.

How to Configure K2 5.7 to Obtain SSO Token for Invoking RESTful APIs using client credential flow ?

We are currently facing a challenge in our project where we are trying to integrate our K2 environment with a RESTful API.The API requires authentication using the OAuth 2.0 client credentials flow. We have attempted to configure the system via the “Management/#Authentication/OAuth/Resources” pathway. However, we are consistently redirected to the login page.Our objective is to generate a token without user interaction, as this is a backend API. We would appreciate any guidance on this matter. Thank you.

Where in the SharePoint list settings is it stored that Smartforms should be used?

I'm trying to find out where in the SharePoint list settings the use of K2 Smartform for New/Edit/Display actions is stored. During the migration from SP on-prem to SP online, we are overwriting, resetting these settings.I've searched the list properties and tried using PowerShell, but couldn't find anything.Does anyone know?
