Nintex Workflow

HiI am using the Nintex Workflow Cloud platform to develop a form which is long and may take a few months to complete. I have explored the option of saving the form each time part of it is completed but the form needs to be completed in 30 days which isn’t possible for what is is intended for. Could this period be extended? If yes by how long? I have also explored the option of having the form offline but I can’t seem to find the option to enable form “Availability offline” from the form properties. I am using QA Nintex Workflow Cloud to test the workflow and then recreate in prod when it’s working okay. Please could you advise on how I can get the form offline. Also, how else can I configure the form to give me the ability to complete it over a long period of time. Thanks 

My workflow is pretty simple:I have a starting form with a repeating section. My goal is to generate an Excel file with the data from the repeating section. When I run the workflow, the Excel file is generated with only one row, corresponding to the data from the first row of the repeating section. How should I proceed to get the other rows? Am I missing a loop? See attach, my template and the generated file.

I may be wrong about this, but I was hoping for confirmation on a possible change in the way hidden controls work. I know that if a control is directly hidden, it will not pass a value into the flow, but that doesn’t seem to have been the case if the control is visible but in a hidden group. For the past year, I’ve operated with the understanding that a control itself has to be set to visible to pass a value to the flow. Today, however, I noticed that a visible control in a hidden group no longer passes the value. It was a couple years ago when I was learning Nintex that I found out about how the visible controls in a hidden field work, and so I may have not fully understood it. So, I wanted to see if something has changed in the way a control’s value is handled from inside a hidden group.

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to send out a notification anytime a field in a responsive form is modified. I tested this by  using a  the “SharePoint - Update list item” but it continuously runs and multiple notifications continue to push out… I don’t see within the conditions to select “modified date” anywhere. Is there another way to attack this?

I have a component workflow for which I want to move - dynamically names files from one folder to another IF a certain condition is met.  BUT I will not necessarily know the file ID but will know a part of the file name and the dynamic file folder.  So I tried query list to pull the Library in using  variable and I KNOW the folder and subfolders exists along with the file as an earlier branch has created them and I can actually see them in SharePoint.  BUT the workflow keeps saying the folder does not exist.Wondered if the query list was returning nothing and that’s the  cause of the failure.Oh and Retrieve item returns something but I cannot use it as a collection for a Loop for each action.

I am working on establishing a standard process for deploying Nintex workflows and forms across Dev, Test, Build, and Prod environments, instead of relying solely on key-based exports. The issue with keys is that they have expiration dates and can expire before QA/UAT approvals are finished, and generating new keys doesn't align with compliance requirements for standard promotion procedures. To address this, I would like to use the Export/Import packaged workflow APIs. My preference is to export workflows as packages, store them in a Git repository, and then import them from the repo to higher environments as approvals are completed. I need assistance with saving the response from the Export a packaged workflow API (https://us.nintex.io/workflows/v1/designs/package/export) and importing it via API (https://us.nintex.io/workflows/v1/designs/package/import) into higher environments. i am having challenge of preparing query parameter and handling

I have a repeating section in start form. In a Task Form, I want to display the row of data from the start form repeating section. And add an editable field for each row to get a status for each row.How can I do that?I understand that I can do a loop for each and get item from collection, but how can I have the data in my task form? 

I created a workflow using the Nintex Form as a start event. The workflow tested fine at the first attempt; however, subsequent attempts have produced a [WorkflowExecution.Semantic.Error] Semantic error(s) found.  See attached screenshot.I have used a ‘People’ control and ‘ConvertToString’ form variable to extract the email address from the collection.  This is the variable I have included in the ‘Assign a task to multiple users’ communication action.Can you assist in identifying the issue?  Not sure if this instance ID will help?Instance ID:0e3ac5fe-96a0-4061-a390-dd73a09b55fc_0_4

We have an application that we’re building and need to expose Nintex API data such as list of tasks assigned to the user for a particular workflow. I see that there are 3 authentication methods. We did not want to use service app token as it gives it access admin to the tenant and we didn’t want to use a personal access token either because of the developer role.  The client app token made the most sense because we can limit the scope to just read only to get the list of tasks. However, we noticed it requires a user to sign in through a pop-up window. Is there another method that won’t involve this pop-up window or is there a way to have the user only do it once? 

I have a form that uses URL parameters to prepopulate fields, using getQueryStringParameter. When I simply publish the form using the URL, this works fine.  But when I try to use the same technique with an embedded form and add those URL parameters to the src parameter of the iframe tag, it says "The form is Unavailable". Is there a trick to getting this to work?

This has probably been asked and answered before, but is there not a way to bring repeating section data over from a start form into a task form, and then add a field for the task assignee to complete?I’m developing an order form on which the initial user can use a repeating section to order items of equipment. After an approval process, the data is sent (via a task form) to the person who will fulfill the order. I don’t need this person to be able to edit any of the data from the start form’s repeating section; I just need a way for them to indicate the status of each item in the repeating section. For some items, they will be able to indicate that the item has been fulfilled because they have it in stock and can send it right away; other items will have to be ordered and then fulfilled later.I can bring over the repeating section data to the task form, no problem. But what I’d like to do is have a field (Choice - Single) for each item in the repeating section where t

I cannot seem to get CSS to apply to a repeating section.  I have the following within the Custom CSS:[dir] .nx-theme-styles .nx-theme-page {background-image: url(https://xxxxx.sharepoint.com/Style%20Library//Branding/img/imagename.jpg);background-repeat:no-repeat;background-position: center top;width: 100%;}.my_repeating {background-image:none; color:#FFEA00;background-color: #FFFFFF;}The background image works fine for the whole form but then repeats within the Repeating section itself, making the text very hard to see.  I add the “.my-repeating” to the CSS Class box for the repeating section and internal fields; I’ve also tried using ntx-repeating-section (without the dot) instead of .my-repeating within the Custom CSS but the form seems to ignore any custom CSS for repeating section:

With the sample below, I'm getting a large JSON response. I need to extract just the names as an array so I can compare them with another string.In short, from the API response that lists workflows, I need to extract only the workflow names to compare them with another workflow name. Adding additional information-  I am using Query JSON and specially looking for JSONPath expression which return all workflow names . The Configure workflow option is a great way to set values for configurable variables (those whose “Allow external configuration” has been ticked). However, I could not access these variables in Start event forms, which kind of defeats the purpose.Is there a way to be able to externally configure variables that can be accessed in Start event forms?

Hi  I’ve created a workflow to load a data set that I’m accessing from an external API into a Nintex Table.The API is too cumbersome and complex to do otherwise than simply create a “local copy” of the data so it can be used in my Nintex forms etc..It’s all working fine but I’m having issues with the number of actions per workflow instance.The API is returning me data in Json, so I”m using Query Json action. The problem is that I have to use one Query Json Action for each single field of data being returned, and even though I’m only loading a bit more than 200 rows it’s still blowing up because there are a lot of fields to retrieve. Right now all I can do is loop through the data array, load each field one by one in variables, and then create the row in the table using those variable.  I’ve seen that I could leverage Query Json to retrieve multiple fields at the same time and load them in a collection, but then how to I

I’m hoping someone can confirm if Nintex table data is restricted to only be available on Authenticated Task forms. It appears it is. To explain: Table data can be used on a non-authenticated Start form using the Data variables function. However, when I do the same on a non-authenticated Task form the control fails. I mean it can be set up, but when the Task is sent the a ‘Data failed to load’ error displays and the control fails. This seems strange: if I set up a Data variable to use External data (not Table data) then that works on both non-authenticated Start and Task forms. However Table data doesn’t. ​​​​​​
