Nintex Workflow

I’m migrating workflows to the Automation Cloud, and no matter if I build the table in HTML or the WYSIWIG editor, Nintex constantly messes with the formatting.  It will move whole rows to the top of the table.  The screen shot below is how the table in the email should look.But if I have to go back into the workflow to make an edit for any reason - not even to the Send Email action this happens:The divider rows get converted to header rows - even if I toggle that setting off or call it out as <td> instead of <th> - and then get moved to the top.This defeats their purpose, which is to break up and organize the data.It makes quick edits painstaking.  I d

Does anyone know what the autocomplete option in the escalation section of a task form does? Does it autocomplete the task to move the workflow forward, if the assigned person doesnt complete it? 

Hello!I am trying to pull all attachments from a sharepoint list using the “Get item attachment by name” control. Now, my question is… will nintex be able to connect to a url as such to connect to the list? https://companyname-my.sharepoint.com/personal/joe_smith_company_com/Lists/Equipment%20tracker/AllItems.aspx I notice this list is located under a users personal location… now, they gave my admin acct access but I am not able to connect to that list. 

I find it rather annoying that there is no easy way of simply renaming a file without knowing the extension. Any thoughts on how to easily rename a file using the “rename a file” action? Maybe a regular expression that easily identifies the file extension at the end of the file name?

I have a workflow that starts with a Nintex Form.  The form allows for the uploading/attaching of supporting documents.  I am successfully writing the form data into a list library in SharePoint Online, but cannot seem to copy the attachments to a document library.  I get this error: Received an error response from the connector: BadRequest: [SP.GNR.ListItemsNotFound] Unable to find matching list items for the list 'ProclamationRequestAttachments'. (Correlation Id: 1b7d84c4-4519-4253-b9df-c8ae9389380f)The document library does exist, permissions are correct also.  I don’t think it is a SPO issue, but maybe I’m not capturing the attachments correctly.  Below is the workflow:

We are trying to replicate the N365 process of writing task info to a “task list”.  It’s nice that NAC stores tasks, but we have audited processes and need our task data stored locally on our site (like the previous versions of Nintex did it). in a SharePoint list, or task list.  We are using the “Get task” action, but are facing some issues trying to grab the relevant task form URL because it is way more than 255 characters.

Is there a way to either generate a csv file in Nintex Workflow or convert an excel file or anything that can be done. I would like ot use Nintex to generate and email a csv file on a schedule. 

I thought this would be a simple thing, but apparently it’s not. I have a Scheduled start workflow that is supposed to run daily to read a SharePoint list and find any items that contain a date six weeks (42 days) in the future. The workflow ran today and reported no results even though I know there is one item in the list that should have been found.The workflow uses an Add time to date function to calculate the future date: using the built-in Current date from the instance, it adds 42 days and provides a variable as a result (date format, not ISO 8601 text string). Then the workflow queries the list, using the conditions that the specific date column has value and matches the date variable.When I run this, it finds no results even though, as I said, there is one item in the list that meets the conditions. I am using a Label form control, which has recently updated. The old version had a field for both the link text and the link URL. However, the current version only has the URL, and when I use a variable for the URL, it doesn’t display correctly- it shows the URL and not the text I had highlighted to add the URL. I even tried using the source code version to put things in, but that gave me the same result. Any ideas?

Hi, There are a couple of threads of this subject, but they more relate to SharePoint.  In my case I have an NWC Start form, where I have a repeating Section control.  When I create a Task form, I need to display the rows of data from Repeating Section, and also make it editable. I was wondering whether there are any solutions or workarounds for this situation.

My workflow requires a start form to transfer the data to a SharePoint list when it is completed.  I have configured my SharePoint connection, and I can retrieve the list and add the fields to be configured.  I have inserted the corresponding start form variables in the update items configuration; however, I cannot configure the conditions action. How do I configure the conditions?  Do I need a separate condition for each field to be updated?

I need to filter the options of a child dropdown based on the selected value of a parent dropdown. In the backend, I have data tables that establish a relationship between the parent and child tables.Could you let me know if it is feasible to implement cascading dropdowns in a Nintex Workflow Cloud task form? If so, could you guide me on how to achieve this?

I have 5 page form with multuple questions and 3 file upload sections. If i run the form without uploading a file it’s fine. If i upload a file into any of the 3 areas it uploads the file but the form will nto submit. 

Hello, How can I make a workflow that is started as a Nintex Component Workflow appear in Workflow Tracking?I want to see the responses from an "Assign Task" in the form that is initiated as a Nintex Component Workflow. I already collect the responses in the database, but sometimes they ask me to download the form.  

We have recently gone live with Nintex Automation Cloud, and have a number of workflows running for a series of different business processes. Since we went live, we have been inundated with calls from our business teams, complaining that the My Tasks view in NAC, does not show any information that relates to the form data being processed, like a person’s name or the form ID, for example.Is there any means of customising the columns this view shows? 

Hi Team, I am developing workflows in NWC and we have many actions related creating list item, update item and query list etc. Each time Site URL is hardcoded under SharePoint Site URL. Is there a way we can save the URL in a variable and refer that variable wherever is needed. Or is there a way to get site URL from context. Please suggest the best practice. Thanks!

Based on the value of this column, it needs to continue to check the status of this column until it reaches a certain state.  Example:Column = CompletionDate I need to create a workflow that checks the value of Todays Date once a day. If the value of today's date equals the value of “CompletionDate” then the workflow stops. But until the value Today's date is equal to “CompletionDate” the workflow continues to run every day at a specified time.Additional steps I want to include is if the number of days left until CompletionDate is <5<0 then an e-mail will be sent. This part I know how to do. I have tried using a Scheduled Start as Start Event but i want to use the columns in a Sharepoint List. With Scheduled Start I don't know how to use columns from a list. Thanks

I managed to loop through and extract the output code for each attachment from a start event form file upload control and end with just the file name. I which this was available through the collection of information storing the attachments, similar to SPO list item attachment collection. Anyways, now how do I build an expression on the branch by condition action to check for special characters? I want to kick it back to the user if any exist to try again. So I will be setting a boolean variable to YES if special characters exist is the idea.

Where is Nintex on the roadmap for editable repeating sections on tasks?!?!?! Near or far future? One of our high complex processes that are due to migrate I just started working on and it’s for invoicing. They have a “cost breakdown” component. I would LOVE to move the majority of all tasks to NAC and only track changes in SPO list. However, if repeating sections cannot be passed for them to “edit” several layers of versions to their invoices (via a form) then I will have to keep pointing them back to the Nintex SharePoint form for “editing” to the invoice and decide how to leverage tasks for reminders etc. It’s almost a waste of time sending an task out, at that point I should just send an email with “edit” link back to the item for editing and have something on their SPO Nintex form they can push to send it back through the process on a start trigger. HiI see this requirement and question come up multiple times when searching for a solution, so wonder if anyone has a workaround…So, a form is submitted for approval - use case would be a Purchase Requisition. The Approver has the option to Approve, Reject or Return the request. In the Return scenario, the Originator needs to make an amendment to the original data before it can be resubmitted for approval.The Requisition form has a repeating section, so the Originator can add n lines to the request.  I see there was work being done on editable repeating sections in this topic - But haven’t seen any updates on this. So, does anyone have a solution to this? We’re left with either asking users to completely re-enter data, or I’ve references to a copy/paste process that would allow editing of data, but j
