Looking to change the password for some service accounts that are held at my office, does anyone know the process for this?

Hi, I have a editable list view (Employee), which refer EmpSO which has three columns (Empno, Ename and Deptno). Deptno of the Employee view is the DropDownList, whose value is populating from DEpt SO. While adding ,the drop down list of Deptno will display Dname, but while saving in Employee SO it will save the Deptno as a value. But while saving, the last enterted Deptno is saving for all the Added rows of the employee. Say in the first row of the editable list,  Dept selected as Sales (Deptno = 10) and for second row (which is last row) Dept is selected as Account (Deptno = 30). Now when data is saving, for both employee records are saving as Deptno = 30, where first record shoud have been 10 and next one should have 30. It will be nice if you let me know the solution for the above issue. Thanks with Regards,JD

I have a workflow that runs every hour.  Since I implemented it, it has run 3890 times with 0 failures.  All of a sudden on Thursday, it just quit running.   Any idea why?  Here's a screenshot of it in management console.  As I don't have the time or resources to monitor these workflows (because they're supposed to be automated, right?), I'm now a little bit uneasy with the workflow scheduler.  My project now (that I don' t have time for) is to make a NEW workflow to monitor this workflow and check to see if this one actually ran.   Anyway, has anyone else had this issue?  Or does anyone have any idea why a scheduled workflow would just stop running? Rob 

Hi, Sent the link servername:/workspace/navigation/navigation.aspx to a user to actiom an item (this user is the approver), but workspace is not opening, any ideas why? What permissions do Approvers need to open Workspace to see what worklist items are awaiting their action? I thought that if the Approver was in a Client Action, workspace should open and display the item...? Edit: The user is working from home, so it could explain why its not opening... Can Workspace be accessed externally? Usually forms have the runtime/runtime/form/formname and they work fine externally, but workspace isn't accesible. Any ideas?

Dear Expert, I have a approval process and it is working fine.  All users are receiving task notification when they got a new task through the workflow, except one user who is not receing the task notification in his outlook. Please help me to resolve the issue. RegardsShah

So one of the issues or concerns about K2 integration with SharePoint from what I understand, is that we should never EVER delete any list or site that has been appified and/or has smart objects and other k2 artefacts, otherwise bad things will happen (aka orhpan elements, etc.) so my question is, if I have a site that contains several sites inside with appified lists on each of those subsites and I want to delete a single subsite, what steps should I take to ensure I don't break anything. e.g.go into the "application" of each appified list and delete everything and then delete the site? thanks. 

Hi All, I have a requirement where i need to validate the duplicate entry for a column/item in an editable list view. I have tried with the given solution in the forum, but the problem imam facing, after entering the first row, prssing button for new row, it is showing 'duplicate value' message, where this was just my first row of the list and there is no question of having duplicate value. Thanks with Regards,JD

Hi All,I have below requirement. I have two SmartObjects.First one (Department) is for list item, which has two columns. one is Deptno and another is Dname.Senond one (Employee)  is attached with the editable list view. Employee got three columns ( Empno, Ename and Deptno). the Editable list view ( Employee) has one drop down list for Deptno. Hi, I have a form which questions on it where users can copy and paste text into the TEXT AREA. I am now getting reports that all formatting is lost when it is pasted into the Text Area, how can we change this so formatting is retained when pasting into a K2 Text Area? For example, i grabbed some BOLD text in a basic Word Document and copied it, pasting into the K2 area means that the formatting is lost (no bold). How to get round this? Thanks

 Hi, I am trying to create a show/hide rule based on whether a user is in a SharePoint group. Option A Issue: I use the " then on SharePoint Integration Helper Methods SmartObject, execute its Is User in Any One Group method (configure).   My configuration uses the site URL/Group ID/FQN as values and I pass back the value to a datafield on my view.The value always comes back as False however, when infact I am in all groups, and one value won't come back at all.   If I replace the FQN with the 'Name' field which someone suggested then it throws an error saying 'index is out of bounds of the array' Option B Issue:If I use the 'Group' smartobject instead that sits within the management folder of SP Sites, then the form throws a 404 error, despite the configuration being set up with the correct URL.  Has anyone else had these issues? I thinkl the config is correct as I have followed other examples on here. Thanks, Julie

Sometimes it's really convient to hide a bunch of controls at once using a table control, but the biggest issue with this is that SmartForms controls outside the table are no longer aligned with the ones inside! It may look like this:  Cheers!

I have built a search box which searches a list by filtering it based on a value in a text box  (using get list method and mapping the text box to the filter page on the get list method config. It works fine on any column in my list which is a single line of text but doesn't seem to be able to see any text that is stored in a multi line text column (memo control in K2). Is this normal behavoir or is there a clever way to achieve this?Thanks, Julie

Transferring data to a list view,  the list view does not seem to update. 1.  Double Click List View2.  Edit Item View subview3.  Transfer Data from Item subview back to listview. The problem I'm having is at stage 3, where the list view isn't updating with the values of the data transfer.   Are there any things to watch out for when transferring data to a list view on a form?

Doing some Advanced rules i need to say that If a field equals Staff and then the User ID field DOES NOT start with a?In the Rules Wizard, there is only a STARTS WITH operator, there is no DOES NOT  ANy ideas how i achieve the "User ID DOES NOT START WITH" rule in an advanced rule? Thanks

Hi! I am ready to promote the IT Service Request SmartStarter from the DEV environment to our TEST environment.  Can I simply migrate the K2 system tables using Database scripts, OR do I have to run the SmartStarter install for the IT Service Request on the TEST environment as a prereq? Also, is it best practice to move the tables from the K2 database to the LOB database?  Then, modify the SmartBox Service instance to point to the LOB database? Thanks!

Hi,  I am tasked with installing a SSL certificate on our production server. This SSL certificate will only be used by one K2 application that was custom built using .NET.  I was wondering if installing the SSL would affect any of our other K2 applications running on the server. Has anyone run into this scenario in the past? The .NET application is on a different port as the other applications.  Thank you!

Hi all,Im trying to add an escalation to a user task in my workflow using k2 designer, but I dont see the option of adding the escalation when I right click on the user task as it shown on k2 documentations.  is there another way to add the escalation to the user task ?Im using k2 4.7 Thank you. 

Hi, Anyone able to help with this? I have a SQL Table with a List methodIn the List Method i have fields like Title First Name, Surname. In the K2 form, I do a Filter to retrieve a list of all matches to a List View The Input is the EmpNumber and Output is Title, First Name, Surname. If there a multiple entries for the same person that is fine, but how do i put the first instance of Title, FirstName and Surname in Data labels? I tried Output mappings, but none of the List Return Properties will map to Data labels. Anyone know why? Thanks
