I am facing a scenario where I need to terminate all workflows associated with an item if any of the approvers rejects the request. Currently, we have a parent workflow that initiates multiple component workflows. Each component workflow includes several approval steps, and upon the completion of each, it updates a specific SharePoint column to confirm completion.The requirement is to terminate all running workflows on the item if any approver rejects a request in any of the component workflows. Is there a mechanism to track and store all workflow instance IDs in the same SharePoint list or a different one, so I can use the 'Terminate Workflow Instance' action to halt the relevant workflows based on their instance IDs?Please advise on the best approach for this.

Nintex workflow is keep getting unexpected error in specific time for specific user when task assigned to him and there is no log showing. SharePoint server 2016 , Nintex 4.4  .

Here is what I am doing:I have a very basic form for Agents to submit their property listings with us. They have to select their Agency, then it allows them to select their Agent name (both are pulled from our Account & Contacts in Salesforce).I have two lookup filters on the ‘Agent Name’ field - The first filter makes sure it only returns the Agents that are related to the Agency (selected in Dropdown above). The second, is a custom ‘Active’ field I use to determine if that Agent is still active. When this is not checked, they should not show up in the ‘Agency Contact’ field (see pic): The strange part: This works perfectly when I preview the form. However, when I save and test on the published page, it just wont work - driving me crazy.. Please help!!!RegardsAlex

Dear All,Hope you doing well. We are currently working on a project to display forms within a SharePoint iframe.We are encountering issues with scroll bars during the presentation of these forms inside SharePoint. We would like to pass the dimensions (length and width) of the forms from K2 to SharePoint using JavaScript.Is there any way to do this for individual forms, or is there a centralized location, such as a Master Page, where a global function could be implemented, given that we have more than 40 forms? Thanks.

I added 12 new Yes/No columns to the forms list and also added the checkboxes to the start form but when I go to the task form I don’t see them anywhere in the Start Event Variables list so I can drag and drop on the task form.  I have tried closing and reopening the workflow, refresh F5 and nothing.  Is there a maximum number of Start Event Variables allowing on a task form?  I have 100.  

Hi,I’m a Promaster with admin rights but I’m having difficulties identifying where auto-reply sent emails reside as the configure tab only seem to show on/off functions but not the actual emails that are sent to our organisation Promapp account when for instance an account is locked or when user is trying to log in without having an actual account. I want to potentially adjust the wording or email and also exclude individuals who get notified by email that are no longer part of the team.Many thanks for your guidance,Regards,Ulises  

We have a component workflow running in NAC which returns values from a Person or Group column in SharePoint Online based on a text role name that is passed in to the component. We use the results from this column to create a string of email addresses which are passed back to the caller workflow for use with task approval and email notification actions. This effectively allows us to keep a single master list of all roles used for various task approvers on workflows throughout our organization. This component has been working fine since February and we have not changed the workflow actions nor the SharePoint list since that time. Yesterday July 10th, around midday EST, the component started returning an empty string after querying the list. Hi All , Basically I have a list and create a drop down list and almost 10 value. If someone fill the form and choose 1 value in the menu, I need to be removed from the list to prevent to be chosen second time by someone else. Is it possible to remove or disable the value if selected someone else? For example there are 6 values in the drop down menu. I created 1 item and choosed Value1. When second person ty to create item they shouldnt see Value1 or should see disabled. Value1Value2Value3Value4Value5Value6

Created a large main WF, which calls a UDA (image below) - which sets the ProxyAddresses attribute field in AD. Can I add to the configuration to this UDA?  If not, do I need to create another UDA? We need to update the “MailNickname” attribute in AD .... (with the user's @CompanyName.com email address).  Also, we have the TargetAddress config in the main wf... can this be removed and added to the UDA (inside 1 or in its own UDA)?  

Hi,We have embedded promapp widget on our SharePoint, when we search using search bar widget it opens in new tab but didn’t show any results even though there are relevant processes for term we are searching. It does work if we search manually on new open search page of nintex promapp.I have checked config, it does have search=True but still not working.Thanks in advance!

Nintex list, WorkflowTasks, has many old items. I need a script that will delete older items from this list and bypass the recycle bin. I have a script that performs this action on NintexWorkflowHistory list and can’t figure out how to modify it for WorkflowTasks. I’m hoping someone has already created a script specific to deleting select items from the WorkflowTasks list.The URL is https://MyDomain/sites/MySite/WorkflowTasksAfter items are deleted from the list, I need SQL to purge them from the database.SharePoint Server 2019 (hosted on prem)

How do I get an excel document to wrap text when creating docgen package?

Hi,  There are four ‘groups’ ( sections ) on my form.  I am using the URL line to tell the form based on URL parameter(s) which form group(s) to show or hide.  Looking at the URL and the form that opens, the form is parsing correctly, and form rules pick up the parameter seen here and show only the section(s) I want opened when the form opens.   That’s the ‘=Yes’ you see here.The form properly is doing just that and one or many groups are hidden. Here is how the field is defined:   The field in the list though shows ‘No’ - should be ‘Yes’. Yet, The Forms rules are doing fine to properly open / close groups. My workflow though, in a ‘Branch by condition’ step is seeing what is coming over from

It appears client side logic cannot be included in filter grouping logic. Filter grouping logic appears to only affect server filters. For example if you have two client side filters (1 & 2) and then a server side filter, your grouping logic can only reference the server filter and the server filters is actually referenced as filter 1, not 3, because filter grouping logic appears to ignore client-side filters. It also appears that client-side filter grouping logic defaults to an AND between each one and there is no way to add custom client-side logic for an OR.If my understanding of the above is true, I would like to ask for a feature request to add a client-side filter logic field so we can write custom logic on client side filters, like we do for server-side. It would also be nice to provide the user some idea on how the filter numbers relate to the logic. I don’t find it intuitive that filter #3 is actually server filter #1 in my example above.

I don’t know if anyone who has used the K2 Menu System (https://community.nintex.com/archive-25/k2-menu-system-9347) on 5.7 in this regard encoutered...I did notice it since I upgraded today from 5.6 to 5.7 when I checked the console log.All and all, my investigation took me to this page…Has anyone encountered this issue, and if yes, what was your workaround?

I have a simple Nintex Workflow Cloud form which displays follow up questions based on choice fields selected.Example:Choose your Company size.20-50 50-100 >100If a user selects “A”, my form should display, follow up questions associated with this selection. However, if the user let us say, decides to change his selection to B, the follow up rules which should refresh and display questions pertinent to choice B, do not refresh (follow up question do not change to reflect the new selection). Very annoying and irritating to some users. Any idea or recommendation is much appreciated.

We have a list in SharePoint Online, which uses Nintex Forms 365. A workflow has been created in Nintex Workflow Cloud (NWC) which is triggered upon creation of new list items. While there is usually minimal lag to trigger the workflow, in some instances it takes 7-10 minutes (or more), just to trigger the workflow, let alone process the workflow logic. To be clear, we are comparing the 'Created' SharePoint timestamp with the 'Instance Start Time' in NWC. Customers are not particularly impressed, especially considering that we didn't see such lag with Nintex365 workflows.Could you please advise the possible reasons for the delay, and how we can mitigate this from occurring. Thanks.

I have not seen a post on this topic in the Nintex Automation Cloud forum yet. How do I get all task approver comments written back to the list item? Is there a tutorial somewhere I can follow? I have successfully done this in NAC in other workflows where there is only one approver using the “First Response” object, but I have multiple people approving tasks in a new workflow. How can I get all of the info written back to the list item? I’m assuming I’ll have to do something with a collection variable to utilize the “Task responses” collection, as shown below, but I’m unsure of how to execute this logic to achieve what I’m looking for.  Could someone please outline the logic steps if this is possible?  I’d like to use this format: (Outcome) Task Responder - Current date and time - Comments

Hi all, I’m creating a form which requires a feature to export a list view to an email.The view will be filtered to not show existing records on the table - only what the user has entered in the current session. This is the only info required on the email. The form will be used mostly on handheld devices, so exporting to Excel and manually emailing is not an option.Open to any suggestions. Many thanks in advance,Jordan

Hi I have two questions here in regarding workflow backup and restoration.1. If a workflow is deleted by the workflow owner, is there any way to restore it? Or is workflow restoration a feature planned for future Nintex updates? 2. Since Nintex doesn't seem to support exporting workflows as physical files, what is the recommended approach for backing them up?Thanks

Hi,We’re facing an issue where a form is completed to hire a candidate and the initiator enters the candidate’s email address which is then used later in the workflow to ‘assign a task’. Sometimes, these email address are misspelt and nobody realises that the candidate did not receive the task at all until a week or two later it is escalated back to the initiator.Is there a way to track or alert to any bounced emails in Nintex by which this could be prevented?Thanks!

Hello,when I use the “Query a list” action in NAC to get a list item from SharePoint, the column with multiple users only returns the ids of the users. Is there a way to get the name of the user by using the ids? I could not find an action to achive this. Is there maybe a different way to get all the names from the column?Thank you and best regardsNiklas
