Can a reminder be attached within a Promapp process to trigger an action at a specific time of year?

For starters, excellent new vibe across the page, I'm loving the "refined" look of Promapp!To my query: wouldn't it be helpful if there was an option for a caption below an image? Specifically, if you have more than one image per activity, it's hard to know what's behind a thumbnail.Let's have an option for a caption under an image thumbnail!

When a user allocates a role to a group folder, the groups within that role automatically link (like a process).  But in most cases, at the higher group level, there is limited need to link these groups as they are standalone (note that there is a need in some instances to link them).  The only way to unlink them is to move an unallocated group in between them at set up. Although this works, it requires that you have enough unallocated groups.  Is there something I am missing or is there a way to do this?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to pose this question, so apologies if it's not. I was wondering if the ability to create a parallel link between activities in a process variation is on the roadmap? Several times I have needed to make two activities parallel, but this feature is not available when the process has variations. Is there a timeframe to make this feature available please?Thank you,Zöe

What could be the reason that user cannot make a copy of a published process? Only export is possible in the menu. What should be done in order to copy a published process for all users. Our settings let all users to create new processes.

It is great to hear that there is finally going to be some improvement in the Promapp Mobility space, as presented at this mornings Processfest. Will this however extend to people viewing via minimode view? Or will this only work via the app that was discussed? Minimode is critical where a webpart on a website links to a process for external users. As an audience it is critical that these external parties viewing our process have a clean UX.

I have a support ticket in, but looking here as well to see if I can get a quick answer. With the recent update that Nintex did for Promapp changing the permission structure my users of content that do not have profile and would view content via mini-mode links are now getting login prompts and are not able to view content they were able to view previously. Has anyone else dealt with and found a solution, or have an idea.Below are images of config for Mini-mode and View Options tabs from out site. Thanks. Edit/Update:  By turning off the last config in Mini-mode that limits access to restricted processes I have been able to return access to mini-mode links.... looking at the documentation for the change it looks like if the group did not get the "All Staff" role as part of the permission transition this could be part of the problem... still trying to resolve thought this will work temporarily. 

Currently when process ownership is re-assigned to another user, our Promaster has to go through all the processes and re-assign the @todo notes.  Is there any way these could automatically update when the ownership is changed?

What are the video formats able to be uploaded to a process? We have tehm currently saved as a Media Player file but I get an error when trying to open from Promapp. The file opens fine from the document management system.

we are finding that our users are creating a lot of similar processes in Promapp that are really just variations of a single process flow.  Is there a way to merge existing promapp processes together, or, is this something that may be on a roadmap for future enhancements?  Thanks!

Hi Community, We've being using Promapp for a long time now, but it always was a bit neglected and user adoption was low. This is about to 180-degree-turn-style change now due to unified leadership team support and an initiative to get all processes truly mapped out with a proper lifecycle management around it to keep them up-to-date which is fantastic. With all that momentum there might be some overenthusiasm though to use the tool for what (I think) it not really is made for. I see ideas being floated to use Promapp as a place to document/store FAQs and How-To's (e.g. "how to view errors in a specific app when we receive an alert", "how to use a Surface Hub", "How to use VPN", "How to set up your working-from-home hardware", ...).The idea for staff to just search in Promapp for all their questions is enticing, but I'm very conflicted as the tool itself doesn't e.g. allow inline images in text which is what is necessary for most good IT FAQs and H

Not a question. Just a post in a place where I think folks will understand me. The other day, I learned the Awesome Meter will be going away to make room for other cool Promapp features. I'm not protesting. Just reflecting on the joy it has brought me in my limited time with Promapp. To let my community of users know to memorialize their Awesomeness with a snapshot of their meter, I posted mine in our internal Slack channel. I thought I'm the Promaster, my Freakin' Awesome meter image is legit and I'll share with everyone to take a similar snapshot. To my delight, others posted their snapshots and some were way more Freakin' Awesome than me. It signaled to me that we've done a great job with Promapp here.Thank you, Awesome Meter. Can I use process variations to manage current (as-is) and future (to-be) processes? I was in a Nintex webinar the other day and I saw the demonstrator using a process with variations for current (as-is) and future (to-be). This wasn't the focus of the webinar however it got me thinking about how to efficiently manage as-is/to-be processes going forward. I'm thinking of setting up the following to manage this - I'd love to hear people's thoughts/experiences on this:Create process for the first time in Promapp (standard, current, and future variations) Publish current variation when process is finalised, leaving the future process as draft Everyone uses the published current variation The process owners/experts work on developing the future variation until they're ready to implement it This is where I still need to work out - Then either: Archive the current variation an

Hello,We are working on very high level maps that will eventually lead to more detailed maps. One activity we have listed is to "Administer the Contract". Is it possible to have the tasks be links to the more detailed process maps within Promapp? For example, one task/process that we complete to Administer the Contract is Conduct Site Visits which has its own map.

May be an easy fix - I hope - but how can I get my process map to display in Portrait mode, like the rest of the document, when I print to PDF?

How much detail do you provide in your Promapp processes and procedures? What Promapp roles have you used to identify external stakeholders in your processes? We have some standardised external stakeholders which we use across the organisation (e.g. customer, contractor) but we wonder what the impact is (report/maintenance/usability) if we extend these to describe 'external parties', 'volunteer's as individuals and/or groups. Our perceived benefits of breaking external stakeholders into specific roles include pulling reports to identify which processes they're involved in and then doing due diligence on this (e.g. all individual volunteers have a WWCC).Our perceived disadvantages of breaking external stakeholders into specific roles include usability of writing processes within the organisation and opportunity for errors (e.g. users creating processes select the wrong role), as well as maintenance activities (e.g. role changes are not kept up to date as they're not standard within the organisation). It wou

is it possible to link multiple processes to a registered improvement, under the investigation tab? I have multiple processes that will need to be linked, but I can only link 1 - each additional process that I "link" seems to replace the previous - thats not helpful  😕

Are you able to generate and reports from Promapp? I'm talking specifically about for the risk add on module. Would be very handy if reports from processes/risks inputted could be generated in reports, that could be then used for meetings and other visual requests/analysis. TIA

Im looking to split up a group into two folders. the only way I can see to move existing processes from the old group to the new group is painstakingly drag each one one into the new folder. Any other thoughts?

Hi, when publishing a process, I received an error that publishing failed due to an error that occurred while updating the entries. It then says I need to access the inner exceptions. Does anyone know how one accesses the "inner exceptions"? 

Is there a way to modify the approval settings so that you can specifically turn off approvals for reviewed/new revisions for processes?   We still want NEW processes to be approved but for existing processes that have been reviewed or edited and then submitted for re-approval we would like to to go straight to publishing as they require less of an approval process?

Anyone know how to restrict documents that have been uploaded (.xls or .pdf, etc) to be view only?  Currently when clicked on, local copies get produced on the users hard drive. 

I have a question about "Processes I'm in" tab.. that tab is to show user what processes that they participate right? but how can user participate in a process? did the process will appear there if that process is connected with their role? or did user just need to open a process and user will be automatically counted to be participating in that process? Thank you
