Wondering if anyone else has experienced issues with downloading the ProMapp free trial. I tried using my business email "@ibm.com" and my "@yahoo.com" address and I get an error message telling me I need to use a "valid business address." Cannot evaluate a product when you cannot install the trial version.
I would like to start a Kaizen request for an improvement that users can vote for and I do not know how to do this. My improvement is to have a separate tab under My Dashboard for Promasters to see My Archive Requests. Currently it is a real pain to have to scroll through all the approval submissions to see the archive requests to approve as currently there is nothing to alert you. They tend to get buried in the the approval requests.
Hello to all,New to PROMAPP, I have a question about the multilingual approach to processes. How do you manage to have your processes in several languages? Have you simply translated each one? Do you use an internal functionality? Variations?Thank you for your feedback!
In my organisation our Contact Centre servicing over 45,000 internal customers at level one before triage to the relevant operational area when too complex, are avid users of Promapp for the processing aspect of their work. They are wondering if anyone has successfully used Promapp to help their staff quickly find answers to questions while on the phone. They started putting this information together in the form of notes within Categories but staff find it difficult to find at speed. So has anyone got tips for speedy searching, or are we using a hammer when we need a screw driver?
Hi Promapp Community I'm just wondering what is the best practice around creating a link from one process to another? I've noticed there are two ways of doing this: 1. In the Outputs, when defining the Output you can create a link to the "To Process". The person viewing the procedure may not necessarily see this up front as they need to click on the Outputs in the map to see the linked process, or they need to find it in the Procedure view. I'm not sure regular users would always think of this. 2. In procedure, you can add a process link as the last activity. This to me is a good option as it will show up nice and clearly in the process map and procedure that the last step is in fact the next process. However, this means that the Outputs don't show up on the map and I see them as a bit redundant as the process never points to them, so would they even need to be defined? Please let me know what you see as best practice here, or when you might use one option over the other. Let me know
Does anyone know if you can turn off dashboard notifications for Images and/or documents? We are currently creating new processes with a high volume of images, and users are getting frustrated at the notifications for new images. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi everyone,How do you manage processes when the owner or expert goes on leave? For approvals ect we transfer their ownership and rights to the user acting in their position however apart from taking a screenshot of what was transferred there doesn't appear to be an easy or quick way to transfer back and forth between users. A few processes or even ten isn't such a drama however I have one user with 61 processes, 10 process groups and 30 risks. It they are not transferred the user acting does not receive any notifications and therefore does not know if they have to action anything.Thank you.
Hi All,I have just attempted to assign a user as Group process Champion, which I've done quite easily in the past, but i'm getting an error when I try to save (attached):"User does not have the required permissions to be the primary champion of the process group." My user is a Promaster - so I'm stumped. Any clues??
I knew how to do this with the previous viewing permission function... but now, how do I limit the view for some Promapp users to just a particular folder? i.e. all of my internal users (ALL STAFF) are able to see all the folders, but I have some external users who I will want to exclude from ALL STAFF (if possible) and limit to view only a few folders.
If a system is tagged in a process, is the system stakeholder automatically added to the RACI matrix for that process or would they need to be added manually?
Hi, I have connected the improvements module data to Power BI using the API Key. Is there a way to also connect the Promapp Reports to Power BI? Many thanks Michelle
We are looking to use Checklists across multiple processes where there is the potential for 100s of checklists to be created. It appears that all checklists are managed in the one location in Promapp (All Checklists), which has the potential to become somewhat unwieldy. Looking for any community member experiences and best practice suggestions for setting these up in a way that is easy to use and reference and also report on.
Hi all, Looking to learn from those with experience. We are young in our Promapp journey - in a business where process thinking is very, very new - processes are by and large in peoples heads, metrics don't exist, data is fractured andWe have a few key processes which we think would lend themselves to checklists well: - as a way of validating new employees have performed tasks a sufficient amount of time to make them proficient during their probation period, or - to start to track applications as they come in and move through the steps until "done". In effect, we will be gathering business metrics for the first time. Before we embark on this, I'm interested to understand from those who have already done this...are there key learnings you'd like to share, pitfalls to avoid, warnings or other things we should know now?Similarly, are there things you recommend using them for as no-brainers and "highly recommend"?All advice will be gratefully received. Thanks, Trace
Hi, Can we have multiple “owners and experts” for a process? As of now, if we want a temporary user to update processes in place of the actual user, we have to temporarily change the expert, so he/she can update the processes, and then we have to go back and change the processes back to the actual expert. Can a group of experts and/or owners be set up for a process so we do not need to continuously process changes? Which is the best practice for temporary transfers/delegations? Thank you!
Hi, I want to sort and show the process groups in a particular order. Is there a way to sort them without adding any prefix or numbering? Thanks, Ram
We recently added our quality training checklist to the Improve.it Register however, the registered does not provide facility for the forms to be printed. Is there anyway that we can add a print button so that we can print the forms required during training
Hi all, We are going through a relaunch phase and developing best practice standards, which have not been implemented prior. A question, what best practice standards/ governance did/ are you using and would you be willing to share such a standard document or best practice document? TIA
Hi there,Just wondering if someone could please explain what Variance Scenarios would be used for in Timeframes? I've tried looking through training materials (e.g. Nintex University, etc) and can't pinpoint anything specific to this feature.I'm drafting a User Guide for my workplace and just want to make sure I'm explaining the purpose of variance scenarios accurately. Thanks in advance!Cheers, Geri
Hi Team Is there anyway we can implement a multi select close button rather than having to select and close every incident.
Can a reminder be attached within a Promapp process to trigger an action at a specific time of year?
For starters, excellent new vibe across the page, I'm loving the "refined" look of Promapp! To my query: wouldn't it be helpful if there was an option for a caption below an image? Specifically, if you have more than one image per activity, it's hard to know what's behind a thumbnail.Let's have an option for a caption under an image thumbnail!
When a user allocates a role to a group folder, the groups within that role automatically link (like a process). But in most cases, at the higher group level, there is limited need to link these groups as they are standalone (note that there is a need in some instances to link them). The only way to unlink them is to move an unallocated group in between them at set up. Although this works, it requires that you have enough unallocated groups. Is there something I am missing or is there a way to do this?
Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to pose this question, so apologies if it's not. I was wondering if the ability to create a parallel link between activities in a process variation is on the roadmap? Several times I have needed to make two activities parallel, but this feature is not available when the process has variations. Is there a timeframe to make this feature available please?Thank you,Zöe
What could be the reason that user cannot make a copy of a published process? Only export is possible in the menu. What should be done in order to copy a published process for all users. Our settings let all users to create new processes.
It is great to hear that there is finally going to be some improvement in the Promapp Mobility space, as presented at this mornings Processfest. Will this however extend to people viewing via minimode view? Or will this only work via the app that was discussed? Minimode is critical where a webpart on a website links to a process for external users. As an audience it is critical that these external parties viewing our process have a clean UX.
