Hi, I have a parent process, which has three process-specific variations. I want to update the Global Process Owner to a process variation as the process has been transitioned to a different team. I have already updated the correct name in the Process Template (standard version of the process) and re-published the process. It did not work. It only updated the Process Template and the process variation still reflects the name of the previously updated Global Process Owner. I understand that when a process variation is created it automatically takes the Global Process Owner and Global Process Expert from the Template Process. Not sure why it is not updated after updating it in the Process Template. Can someone help address this issue and let me know how to update the Global Process Owner for a process variation? @Nintex_Sam It would be a great help if you can provide your input on this. Â Thanks.
As a Promaster, I want to receive dashboard notifications when:- A new process is published- Changed to an existing process are publishedMy approval flow is turned off, and you can go straight to 'publish'How might I achieve the above?
Can old Improvement register forms beÂ
Earlier, minimode links were used to update after the process is published. That means after the process is published, the same minimode link is used to display the last updated version before it was published and called out as "Historical version".Now, it doesn't work this way. Has this behavior changed recently? The same older version minimode link will redirect you to the latest published version of the process (for example, from v0.14 to v2.0).  If this is true and recently implemented, the "Help Centre" documentation (available/accessible on the upper-right corner of the Pomapp UI - Help > Help Centre) needs to be updated. It still provides information that contradicts the current implementation/behavior of the minimode link. Please refer to the attached screenshot.
Hi, Is there a way to see the roles on top instead of the left side of the process map? Thanks.
I am trying to take the training courses and I receive this page whenever I try to view a training course. Happens on different courses and also in incognito mode. I have logged out and logged back in. Has anyone had this issue?Anyone know how to solve it?
It was due in Feb 2020 then it was rolled back, then it was due last week but it's still not working. I see it's announced in the 'Whats new' section which appears to be dated 28th of Feb 2022, has it been released? It's mentioned in the documentation which states it'll work if the 'Enable email notifications for @mentions (Default:On)' setting is set to on, which it is, but it's still not sending emails. The documentation on help.nintex.com doesn't include any additional requirements, I believe all users are configured in a way that would enable this to work, their email addresses are entered in the 'email' field which I presume is required? Has anyone been able to make it work without enabling emails for all feedback?Eddie
I've got a list of improvement ideas I've noted whilst using Promapp recently that I thought I'd add to uservoice.com to try and help product development. I've just had a look at the older posts and I can see that the most popular post from over 2 years ago has been 'planned' since August 2019 and hasn't been implemented. Would it be fair to say it's not worth adding ideas on here as nothing happens with them? I'm also mindful of existing faults that I'd assume are prioritised above product development which also haven't been fixed. What are everyone's thoughts on making suggestions? Is it a waste of time or something that makes a difference?
As a promaster we have noticed over the last few weeks that when you go in to this page the hover function of the 'Users' column does not show the user names and the 'Edit' function in the right-handside column does not work when you click on it. See attached. However, once you refresh this page it then works as expected. We have tried this in Chrome and Edge browsers but have the same response. Must be refreshed first.
Hellowe are wanting to audit risk deletion in our register. Does anyone know where this data is stored? Also is there a way to prevent deletion and deactivate instead? Similar to processes being 'archived' instead of deleted.
Hi everyone, am wondering if anyone is using the Promapp Risk Module for Climate Change Risks? Is a bit tricky with different timeframes and risk scores changing over time...
How do I go about unpublishing a variant in Promapp? The only information I could find close to this topic was from 2015.  Thank you.Â
Hi - Does anyone know if I can extract a report from Promapp that shows all of the processes with only a single swim-lane?
How do I remove a shortcut process link from a process group please?
Hi PromappersI am looking for a good way to limit process creation in our repository.  What I want to do is have default users as read only, then have selected users with the ability to create processes. I don't want to grant BA or PM privileges to these users only the ability to create processes. I know I can switch the the setting so that only PM, BA and PC can create processes, but this then leaves me with having to add each user separately to each Process Group as a Process Champion when they need to have process creation rights to.  Ideally I would like to do this via role allocation. Realistically I feel this should have been added as a privilege type so it can be managed at the user level but obviously we are limited to the 3 privileges that the developers have given us. Has anyone come up with a simple solution for this? Cheers
When running the Process List Report, I have noticed an In Progress status. What is the difference between In Progress and Unpublished? I thought it may have something to do with last modified date but there doesn't appear to be a consistent pattern and I cannot find anything in the help documentation that explains.
Hi everyone, we have some security/audit processes that need to be hidden from view of our general staff. Can anyone help me understand how to restrict view access to these processes, but allow certain business units (Internal Audit and Security) to view them?
In Promapp, Edit > Timeframes section, we see the options for "Active time" and "Total time".Active time = The time is taken to complete the activity.Total time =  The total time from the current activity starting to when the next activity starts. In Promapp Help Centre documentation, it is mentioned as "Wait time" (on the upper-right corner of your screen, Help > Help Centre > Process Timeframes). Is wait time = total time? If not, what is the difference? We don't see the option for wait time in the UI.Also, when you add active time, is it necessary to add the total time as well? Should the Help Centre documentation be updated? Please refer to the attached screenshots for your reference.Â
Hello readersI am wondering why, when I undertook some Promapp training this morning with some staff, the drop down list was empty when you choose 'Processes', and 'Processes I own'.One particular staff member was the expert of a process (which is published), and this did not show for him.Has anyone else come across this? Did you find a resolution? Thank youHStan
I can't tell if this is expected behavior or not in Promapp Documents. One of my users had uploaded documents. But when they go to delete them, they are unable to. I would have thought that the original uploader would be an owner on the document and have the right to archive/delete. Am I mistaken?Â
My organisation is large and a government shared service with complex processes and multiple systems. We are reviewing our governance charter and believe we need some simple rules for when process variations are used for a process. Has anyone developed a decision matrix or variation matrix to do this? We want to make it consistent in how it is used across the organisation while also making it easy for writers to evaluate how to best use the variation option. Example: Fill a vacancy The vacancy is for: (inputs are different and variations in what is done)  - Doctor  - Nurse  - Manager  - Admin Types of employment: (inputs are different and variations in what is done)  - Permanent  - Agency  - Contract  - Acting - from within org Systems (both being superseded by HR System C in the next 5 years)  - HR System A (DOS based)  - HR System B (easier, less steps, to use because newer) Â
I have recently published a number of processes. All the published processes are of version 1.0. Published the processes on 3rd/4th November. There is no "UNASSIGNED" swimlane in any of the processes. When I open a minimode link of the same process and of the same version (1.0), in the minimode process, a new "UNASSIGNED" blank swimlane is being added. This is an extra swimlane that is not there in the original process. Has anyone experienced this issue?
Hi all, I feel like I've awoken to an alternate reality. I have ALWAYS used Control+Enter keys to create a new line of text in my task.Lately that's not working at all...all it gives me is a new task.I have a new laptop, so I'm not discounting that, but thought I'd check in here. is it me? I have checked the how to's and tech help. found this: https://community.nintex.com/t5/How-To/Creating-text-on-a-new-line-in-a-Nintex-Promapp-Task-or-Note/ta-p/121193, which tells me I'm not crazy.Anyone else had this issue and has a fix?
Is there any way to stop images from requiring review? Currently, the My Reviews tab in the Dashboard shows images that are Overdue or coming up for review alongside processes and documents.I'm hoping there's a way to stop images from appearing in here as I don't need to review images. Any images linked to a process will be reviewed when the process comes up for review. Thanks
Is anyone else having issues rending content in their browser? Our users and I seem to see this at least once a day, sometime multiple times a day. Its particularly frustrating when you're editing processes as changes can often be lost. Â
