Can someone provide me the regex for this?
What is the best way to capture and potentially store a flexi task workflow id that can be referenced later?
Dear all, Recently some workflows throw an error while executing an "Query XML” on an InfoPath form. The full Workflow comment is:Error processing XML. Error=Value=StoreBusyRetryLater, Tag=0x0121d3da, Message=Exception=Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException, Message=An unexpected error has occurred., Chained=(Value=2147943550) Does anyone recognizes this error and has information on know how to resolve this? Thanks in advance,Jean-Pierre
I saved a form as a template and imported it as the new form for a different list as the two lists were similar. However, when adding rules, the “named controls” only show the controls from the previous list and won’t update to the current list controls. How do I change this?
Getting this error, while approving the task form. “This task is currently locked by another user. Please try again”. This task is assigned to a group, but no 2 users had kept the task open at the same time, but still getting the same error. Also sometimes the the issue comes and sometimes it doesnot.
I am a new team member in an organization that is using Nintex Workflows and Forms in an on-premises SharePoint 2016 environment. I reviewed the training sessions prior to the learning center upgrade, but did not have time to run through the exercises prior to the upgrade. I found the older training courses to be more relevant to our environment than the new training courses. Can the older lessons and exercises be made available? Thanks,Bonnie
Hello, I created two Nintex workflows for a SharePoint List. The first workflow is set up to insert the SharePoint List data into a SQL table and the second one is an update workflow to reflect any updates made in the SharePoint list to be reflected in the SQL table. I stared off by creating the first workflow to have a new record made in the SharePoint list be added to a SQL table. That was successful. I then created the second workflow to have any updates made on the SharePoint List to be updated to the SQL table as well. The update workflow was successful as well however, the first workflow to insert the SharePoint list records to SQL would have the error " varchar unable to convert to int" when null values in my SharePoint List. Both workflows work properly if all the fields have at least some kind of value filled in every field of my SharePoint List but, I need it to work with or without null values as it did previously. Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated,
I have a form that has a look-up field pulling information from a list in SharePoint. One of the drop-down choices is NOT LISTED.When this is selected from this control, I would like to hide a panel an unhide another panel make some of those fields mandatory based of the look-up field choice of NOT LISTED. I am currently using a check box to accomplish. I have tried using the regular validation rules, but it seems like it doesn't read what is in the look up field.
Hi, im using several multi line text fields in my forms. These are displayed in another form using the calculated field. However there is a large variation in the amount of input text wich result in large areas of white space if I give that field the larges space the user can input Does any one know about a way to dynamically size a displayed calculated field?I would appreciate any help.
This might be a bit of an odd request, but I’m looking for a way to add a column to a list in Sharepoint 2019 which contains links or buttons (or ideally a custom icon that is a link button to visually show quickly what the workflow would do) that starts a specified list workflow on that item. I know I can add the list workflow to the item menu, but for users that aren’t particularly digitally proficient that option is somewhat obscure and easy to miss, prompting them to try other means of getting their results that are undesirable. Basically, I want a list that (simplified for clarity sake) looks like this: Title Column of links (the one I’m asking about) Item Apple Button that starts list workflow on Item Apple Item Banana Button that starts list workflow on Item Banana Item Peach Button that starts list workflow on Item Peach Item Strawberry Cake Button that starts list workflow on Item Strawberry Cake The list workflow I want to start is connected to this list
I’m building a Nintex form for Sharepoint 2019 and I can’t seem to get the Current user function to work well with UserEquals for rules. It seems to fail to evaluate UserEquals to True even if the Current user editing the form is in fact the user it should be comparing to. The goal is that users first fill out a request form, which gets saved as an item in a list, and then users from a receiving department add more specific information that the initial requesters would not know or be familiar with for an executive branch to know exactly what the request entails. I want to make the areas to add the more specific information only visible to the users that would know what to fill out there when they receive the initial request, not to anyone sending an initial request (as those initial users would maybe guess what has to go in there leading to confusion down the line). If I could get the Current user check to work I could also make sure that a user has filled out everything they have to an
Would you be so kind to post a updated instruction how to enable workflow error tracking using Microsoft edge.Your current post (Tracking Nintex Workflow Errors | Community) while helpful is for Microsoft Explorer, which is end of life and not in use any more within our organisation plus the link in your post is denied by our firewall (due to a invalid certificate??) Thanks.
I have a form which have several choice fields (YES/NO/NA) and I’d like to capture current user and time/date when each field is changed. Each field will be edited by different user from different offices, and I set a rule to make each field active for right group of people. Can someone teach me what is the most easy/simple way to do this? It’s on SharePoint 2016 On-Prem, and I use Classic Form.
Hello All - I'm working through a migration with our technical staff of our SharePoint 2016 sites to SharePoint Online. I utilize quite a few Nintex forms. We have successfully migrated Lists with Nintex forms; however, I'm unable to open the Nintex Editor. I can open the Form itself just fine by selecting "New Item." I receive the below error when I attempt to open the Editor: Error: "An embedded page at formso365.nintex.com says: undefined" Using the Develop Tools, our technical resources provided the below error text. Any help would be greatly appreciated. >>Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()formso365.nintex.com/services/ResponsiveDesignerServices.svc/GetFormCanvasDataResp:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (Bad Request)Nintex.Forms.SharePoint.min.js?v=5Jevl8YSbUE7ol2TsdYq4nBJ_VYxmROTy29Q8aliKcY1:45133 NF.Infrastructure.Server failed. How do I add a scroll Bar to a Nintex Form?
We are currently using Nintex Workflow for our on-prem SharePoint 2019 Farm. We will be migrating to SPO soon. I have been tasked with figuring out how to update the User Profile Picture for all employees both on-prem and online. We currently don’t have a federated AD so updating AzureAD won’t work for on-prem.Does anyone know if NIntex Workflow can do this? I know I can update a user profile property and supply a picture URL, but that doesn’t implement the default picture upload, which creates 3 different sizes. It only references the url supplied.Any recommendations are appreciated.
Hello, I have small workflow that uses the Create Item function to make a copy on an InfoPath form from a Forms Library in SharePoint 2016. The workflow runs in 2010, but the new form that gets created in 2016 fails when you try to open and view the form. The only Nintex error in the Log is:Nintex consumption licensing orphaned consumptions clean up job has throws exception.System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access is denied.I’ll paste the full error below, but this is a new Test server for 2016 (yes, we are behind) on our new licensing and I’m not familiar with WHERE I need to apply permissions.Specs:Nintex for SharePoint 2016 - International: Workflow version: 4.6.6.0SharePoint 2016 Enterprise, fully updated Any suggestion is appreciated. Full error:Nintex consumption licensing orphaned consumptions clean up job has throws exception.System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access is denied. Hii,I have one list of project Credit Application, its column exceeds above 300 so now i can’t create any more new columns in it. Does anybody know how much is the exact limitation of creating columns in custom list of Sharepoint on premise? If it exceeded, what will be the best solution to resolve this?
When I try to pull my AUTH Token from a Variable the Workflow will not work. However if i put it in manually it works… Any idea why this is happening
I have created calendar for delegations. Now it works like this:1. Someone creates an event in the calendar2. Event appears on calendar and workflow starts3. Management rejects approval, but event is still visibleSo my question is - Is it possible to show event on calendar only when request is accepted by managment?
Hi, If I create any Disable rule on a List Lookup in a repeating section, it only disables the control in the first row. E.g. even if the condition always evaluates to true, e.g. 1==1, it still only disables it in the first row. I’ve tried this in multiple forms, it seems possible it’s a bug in Nintex. Can anyone confirm or is there a way to get this working? Thanks. If I can’t get it working, my workaround will be to use Hide rules instead, they work ok for all rows. Also fwiw in my tests this doesn’t affect other controls I have tried, e.g. Single Line Textbox, Option, Yes/No. Thanks for reading.
I would like to add a rule in my Nintex Form where, for example…If Party 1 = “International Business Machines” then Party 1 Abbreviation = “IBM”.If Party 1 = “National Basketball Association” then Party 1 Abbreviation = “NBA”Right now both columns are Choice columns.
Hi, is there any way to directly start a workflow from a form? I would like to use a Nintex-Form to populate a sharepoint-list. When the user clicks on a button of the form a nintex Workflow should be started - any hints on how to accomplish this?
I have a person/group column in the list. but when i try to send email in the notification and display the name of the person. It show the ID instead of the name of the person despite i already configure to display the column in name in sharepoint listing column setting
Hi,I have a form that is a two part form and two workflows associated to the form. When the first section of the form is filled out, it triggers Workflow#1 based on When Items are created. Workflow#2 is set to trigger when Items are modified and when a yes/no question is not empty. Users are allowed to go back to the form when they need to fill out the second half of the form if they do not have the information to fill it out at first If the second part of the form hasn’t been filled out by the user, the user gets an email reminding them to fill it out. (Refer to: @bamaeric solution ) Right now both workflows run fine, however once they both complete, Workflow#2 restarts again. It happens with every submission How can I set the workflow settings to stop Workflow#2 from running again after it has already completed?
