Set a Condition Step (AND/OR)

I'm fairly new to Nintex Workflow, though I do have some experience with other workflow applications. Right now, I’m working on configuring a Set a Condition step on my workflow with multiple criteria.What I’m trying to do is that when a [Vendor Id] is empty and if the [Status] field is either “Awaiting Final Approval” or “Dept Approved”.Solution #1If current item field equals value [Vendor ID] is emptyAND[Stage] is “Awaiting Final Approval”OR[Stage] is “Dept Approved”Solution #2If current item field equals value [Vendor ID] is emptyAND[Stage] is “Awaiting Final Approval”ORIf current item field equals value [Vendor ID] is emptyAND[Stage] is “Dept Approved”Based on my experience with a previous app, the second solution usually delivers the best results. However, I'm not sure if that applies to Nintex Workflow. When I tested the second option, it didn’t trigger anything, whereas the first one did work. Could you help clarify this for me? Word Wrap not working properly

I’m currently trying to display a text area, however words are being split midword instead of word wrapping. I’ve set the word-break css property to normal to no avail. Has anyone had this problem recently? Thanks!

Code Fix: Objects not visible when created from ‘My Items’ in Designer

Issue DescriptionWhen you create Workflows in Designer from "My Items," they are placed in the root/public folder category, but when you create other objects from "My Items," they are not visible or accessible in Designer or Runtime.ResolutionThe fix is available in:Nintex Automation (5.7) Fix Pack 26.Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. Migrate SQL on premises databases without breaking workflow connections

We have a few on premises SQL Servers that are currently used by Nintex Workflow.  They are due for a upgrades and/or migration to new servers (Windows OS upgrades, possibly SQL Server version upgrades).  What would be the impact on the Nintex connections? When I look at the connection definition, it appears that I can edit the connection and set a new database host name, if that name changes at all.  Could it be that simple?  Or is there anything else to re-configure?

Hey Nintex Community!I've been playing around with the js-insert item in Nintex Forms, and, is it a game-changer. It's like a secret weapon for making forms do exactly what you want, far beyond the standard stuff.I've been using it for a few things and would love to hear what creative solutions you all have come up with. Here are a few of my go-to moves to kick things off: Character Counters: I've added a simple counter to a text box so people can see how many characters they've typed. It's super handy when there's a character limit. //Char count$("#yourTexBoxID").keyup(function() {      var charCount = $(this).val().length;      $("#YourTexCounterID").val(charCount);}); Color-Coded Countdowns: This is a step up from the counter. I've set it up so the text box not only counts down the remaining characters but also changes color as you get close to the limit. DocGen Queue Print Order

When I print a set of documents from a DocGen Queue list view using the Download 1 PDF button, what is the order that documents appear in the resulting file? And is it changeable? It seems like it is the record id, but that is not particularly meaningful other than roughly corresponding to the order the documents were created.For context, I need to collate some documents with a set of documents produced by another system, and I am hoping to get them in the same order, by, say, Account Id (in this case Loop__Object_Id__c).

Removal of bad entries in the Indentity.Identity table (K2 4.7)

Hello, One of our customers had a new starter whose entry into the AD system etc apparently went a little odd at first. Validating a group of controls associated with a button

I have three groups of controls (dropdown, textbox, button). I want to validate the groups separately, and I am having issues with the button only validating the dropdown/textbox it’s associated with. can this be done with only validation rules, or will I need JavaScript?

Workflow recipients values null with fixpack 13

Hi,I am using K25.7, I recently encountered an issue with email events containing attachments in our workflow.The support team initially recommended applying Fix Pack 13, which resolved the attachment issue.However, we are now facing workflow failures where the activity recipients are null, specifically for reference items within a loop. This started after updating the SmartObject method, and although the data exists in the database, it is not being picked up.I am here attaching screen shot for your understanding.In Test1 Email, emails were received with correct values. In Update Status, updating only status field. in TestPostUpdate email , FQN is getting blank values but there are values in database table.If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has a recommended solution, please advise. Best Regards,Thriveni

Hiding Ribbon on Responsive Forms

Hi there, Our business is working on migrating forms from the classic 365 forms to the new responsive forms on Nintex Cloud and would like to know if we can either hide this entire ribbon or selected options from this ribbon that appears at the top of responsive forms:  Our set up does not allow staff to edit forms after submission, and our data retention does not permit deletion either, so these two buttons need to go.  Interestingly, there’s an option to hide the print button in the form settings, but I guess edit and delete didn’t make the cut to receive their own buttons:  Any advice is much appreciated!

Calling a webservice - use credentials from workflow owner

I’m calling a webservice to read from the termstore. This actions requires credentials in the action itself. Is it possible to place this action in a group, leave the credentials empty and execute as the workflow owner (farm admin)? Or is it possible to work with some kind of labels to prevent the use of static credentials in the action?

Guidance Needed: Connecting Nintex with Power Automate

Hello!I would like to request your support in setting up a connection from Nintex to send or receive information from Power Automate. Honestly, I don’t have much experience in this area and I’m feeling a bit lost when going through the documentation.I would really appreciate it if someone could provide me with a guide or step-by-step instructions on how this should be done. Hello,I get the following error The specified value is unknown. [Error Code: TypeCasting.UnknownCasting] when calling a xtension which should return an ics file.The xtension is a .net core api and nintex does recognize the specified result type as file.The responses part of the definitions looks like this:"responses": {               "200": {                  "description": "OK",                  "schema": {                     "type": "object",                     "properties": {                        "file": {                           "type": "string",                           "format": "byte"                        }                     }                  }               }            }I tried it according to OpenAPI Specification quick reference and Download base64 files but they differ on the properties part “file” <> “content”. Repeated section rules depending on previous row

On one of my Nintex forms I want users to enter a series of (variable number) of event dates and other data related to those events in a repeated section. I would like to have users enter the rows in chronological order on the date field, from earliest date to the latest date. I know that normally you can just compare dates like they’re numbers and dates further in the future are treated as greater than dates less far in the future or in the past, but I’m having trouble getting the rule right so that it compares to the control element on the previous row (if present).Like I want date(row N) > date(row N-1) for N>1This is for Sharepoint on Prem 2019.I have tried forcing it on the last row with a validation rule:and(equals(currentRowNumber(dateField),rows(dateField)),lessThan((dateField),max(dateField)))then invalidate, but it doesn’t seem to work, the rule inside only takes the field on the current row, it doesn’t look at other rows. I have also looked at sorting it in workflow, b

Use of Data Tables

I have a data table set up with two columns:Column 1: Name Column 2: Email AddressThe intent is for the user to select a name in the start form, which auto-populates the email in another action within the same form. The selected information can then be used in multiple forms throughout the workflow.  However, I am only able to make the employee email visible with a label action.  I am unable to use the information within the label action in subsequent forms within the workflow.  Can the selected table information be used as a variable within a text-short action?Is there a way to use the table information selected in a start form in multiple forms within a workflow?See the example workflow below, which hopefully explains my situation. https://deepwater-376274.workflowcloud.com/forms/710c5e97-cbcc-4777-9837-3d06bbb0498a

Set Form Variable on Button Click

I am attempting to set a form variable using JavaScript. Copy/Move Style Profile

Is it possible to Copy or Move a Style Profile in the K2 Designer? I’m not seeing a “Save As” option in the designer like we see with other components, and drag & drop does not seem to have an effect on Style Profiles.

PDF Download Problem

Hellowe have observed very strange behavior with some users. When downloading a PDF document, the downloaded file is not shown in the downloads folder.Only PDFs aren't being downloaded; other file types work fine. The server response has status 200; I see the request in Chrome Developer Tools, which confirms that the server successfully responds to the request. However, the PDF file still doesn't appear in the downloads folder. Other file types, like Word documents, for example, work fine in Chrome. Downloads work for all file types in Edge. For some users, it is a temporary problem and resolves itself after some time, but may appear again, it comes and goes. Problem appears only on K2 Sites.We weren't able to find out what is causing this behavior we fix it by renaming the user profile, Backup Bookmarks (take note of plugins) Close Chrome Rename C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data - BackUp Restart Chrom
