Hi,We can't find that workflow Completed instances are automatically cleaned up after 30 days, I would like to extend the task list archival duration, Is there any way i can do that. I have checked with MS TechNet forum and experts recommended this forum, can anyone help me on this.Thank you in advance.Kind RegardsMani

I am creating K2 form in development server and i want to move the same files in Production server. Both the servers are different. Can we move the form ? or do we need to do any process to achive ?

 Symptoms  K2 app for SharePoint was installed and configured earlier. However, now we receive an error while going to a SharePoint list and accessing K2 application from ribbon  Diagnoses  [K2].[Environment].[Field] and [Environment].[FieldValue] tables were requested from the customer. upon investigation in the FieldValue table i found this wrong entry "https//k2.domain.com/Designer" in one of the environments. From workspace modify the value it for All the environments(Develpment and Production) and the string table.  Resolution  Modified the entries in K2 workspace for All the environments (Develpment and Production) and the string table.     

 Symptoms Client is attempting to install K2 for SharePoint 2010 components on a SharePoint server, but a "The SQL server database configuration test failed as database of wrong type exist? error is displayed. Diagnoses Verified SQL Database Collation to be correct.Verified SQL Database Permissions to be correct.From reviewing the InstallerTrace log it was found that a database connection is made to a ?K2? database, even though a different database name was specified. Resolution From looking at the SQL Server it was found that both the client ?K2UAT? database and a different ?K2? database was present. The ?K2? database was unused and contained no tables. After setting the ?K2? database to offline, the installation as performed again and completed successfully.A bug item was logged for the Developers to investigate why the Installer was trying to connect to a default K2 database even though a different database was specified. 

In SmartForms as we are using the [Name] from Current User system values to fetch the user id and pass it to profile in application. But the [Name] value is coming as NULL in the SmartForms and error is thrown from SmartObject as the Userid is required property. For some users the details in the Identity table is present and for few it is not present. Can any one faced in SmartForms earlier and any solution to check the issue.

Hi,I would like to get the byte stream of a picture in order to save this stream into the AD attribute thumbnailPhoto via the use of the action "Update AD user"So far I'm using the Copy.GetItem method and in general it looks quite promising... When running a test I can see the stream in the result box.But when running the workflow it throws me the error...Failed to invoke web service. 'undefined/undefined:m:Stream' has an invalid tokenVariable Var_Picture_Bytes is Multiple lines of text. Does anybody has an idea how to fix this? Thank you

 Symptoms  SharePoint list drops the associated K2 workflow after Setup Manager or the upgrade to 4.7  Diagnoses  After upgrading to 4.7 and also after running the K2 Setup Manager on the K2 servers, the SharePoint lists seems to drop the association to the K2 workflow and new workflows do no start automatically nor we can start a new instance.   The screenshot displays an empty list, although it displays an existing workflow that was started on the list before the update.   Re-Deploying the workflows using K2 for Visual Studio seems to resolve the issue and the workflows get re-attached.  Resolution We have logged this as a Critical Bug and it will be fixed in the installer as soon as possible .   For now please take into consideration that you will need to redeploy Sharepoint Integrated Workflows built using K2 Studio or VS again after running the Smartforms Setup --> Configure       

 Symptoms  K2 fails to connect to all registered SharePoint group providers despite URLs are correct. The following error is logged in K2 host server log: "Error","IdentityService","64005","ResolvingException","IdentityService.ProviderCacheIdentity:GroupProvider.GetGroup","64005 Failed to resolve 'SP:DOMAINGroupProivderName': An unexpected failure was encountered when contacting SharePoint to get information from the group provider: Unable to connect to the remote server."  Diagnoses  Error message clearly indicates connectivity issues - "Unable to connect to the remote server" as target SharePoint is up and running and relevant site collections reach able by all users, this means that K2 service account likely has issues with proxy settings or somehow else prevented from accessing Share Point sites.   This can be easily verified by logging into K2 server using K2 service account and trying to access SP group providers URLs - if those are not reachable it makes sense to verify proxy se

Symptoms User cannot see the work item in work list when work item is allocated to that user. Diagnoses Error was related to a dropped connections between K2 and SharePoint. When reviewing the logs previously, the majority if not all the errors were relating to an error when trying to contact SharePoint. Resolution 1.) Make sure that the group providers exist in workspace. - Open workspace and navigate to "Management" --"Management Console" - Expand: "User Managers" -- "SP" --- "Group Providers". - In there you should see the group provider in question. 2.) Next, we need to make sure that it is valid, by navigating to the URL. 3.) And finally, if the group provider is valid, make sure that the K2Service Account has site collection Administrator permissions on the site collection.   

I am attempting to show a single line text column whenever "Ring to Cell Number" is selected. However, when they select multiple choices, the field hides again. How do I stop this from happening? I understand I could use rules for each separate choice along with "Ring to Cell Number", but was hoping for a much cleaner solution. Below is a screenshot of what I mean.  

Hello, I have genereted SmartObjects from Endpoints WCF service instance. Then I (unfortunatelly) deleted this service instance. After deleting is no more possible to delete SmartObjects gererated from deteted Service Instance. Error message: Inconsistency detected on SmartObject 'CreateMessage(String idRecipient, String annotation)'. Service Instance '<serviceinstancename>' not found during loading of SmartObject Definition. When the service instance exists, it is possible to delete SO. How to delete SmartObjects without existing service instance? Regards Zdenek

Hi - Is there a limit to the size of a SharePoint list that a Site Workflow will not fire on?We have two lists and one is 50k plus (site workflow does not fire) and one that is 3000 (workflow does fire)Thanks!Greg

 Symptoms The installer for 4.7 failed to deploy the needed kspx files like Management.kspx and Docusign.kspx during upgrade process. Diagnoses The reason for this is because the 4.7 installation media makes the assumption that Package and Deploy is present and in this case it was not and so all of these kspx files were undeployable. Resolution Ran a Modify from the set up manager to get PnD installed and we needed to add the Everyone group to the C:ProgramData folder permissions section to do that but once that was done things went smoothly.  

 Symptoms  There is not a spinner or other indication that the list view is still loading while the Integration panel loads. Other pages have a spinner indicating that something is happening server-side.  Diagnoses  Repro Steps: 1. Open the K2 Management page 2. Select Integration from the left navigation panel 3. The form loads immediately but the list is empty and there is no indication that it will eventually populate.  Resolution A bug has been created and linked.   

 Symptoms Issue: Customer had a question regarding sharing Workflows developed in K2 Studio. They are currently developing Workflows using K2 Studio and wanted to know what the easiest way to share the most current version of a K2 Studio workflow deployed in an environment by a single developer to other developers. Diagnoses company is using K2 Studio to develop Workflows (WF). However, when WF's are created via K2 Studio, the Workflow Version is stored on the individuals Hard Drive. So if we want others to pick-up and support the WF, then it has to be Packaged and sent to the new Support Person.Is there any other easier way to share the most Current Version of a K2 Studio WF deployed in an environment by a Single Developer with Other K2 Workflow Developers/Supporters? Resolution Resolution: If using K2 studio, the most efficient way to pull the most current Workflow version would be to use the K2 workspace tool.  

 Symptoms Workspace shows the following error "Source: Send E-mail Event" "Exception of type 'SourceCode.SmartObjects.Client.SmartObjectException' was thrown." after deploying a package containing Workflow with client event. Diagnoses Checking the event post deployment the following is not mapped anymore:'Item References' andgt 'Created By' andgt 'Email' and needs to be remapped and the WF redeployed. Resolution The issue was resolved by a coldfix. Please contact k2 support and reference tfs#684691 

 Symptoms Issue:When the client edits a rule they receive a blank rule editor box. Diagnoses diagnosis:We have as previously suggested by labs changed the setting maxRequestLength but this did not resolve the issue. It just shifted the blank edit rule box from initial load of the rule to save changed values of the rule.The client followed the instruction and changed Maximum allowed content length and maxRequestLength. After the changes where made the client no longer experienced a blank rule editor box. The client now experiences an infinite spinner when trying to edit the rule.This was due to the large form design. The form was +- 44MB.  Symptoms Clearing Security Credential Cache Diagnoses Is their an actual way to clear the security credential cache? The purpose of this is for the use of creating an audit report, however a lot of users that left are still being registered within the AD table and this is also reflecting upon the cache itself it seems.If this is cleared this in turn will create more accurate audit reports going forward. Resolution It will be best to contact K2 support as this will require database manipulation as specific tables will need to be ordered in order for this to work. 

 Symptoms The Autocomplete not accept the Filter option for the DataSource Diagnoses It's not possible to do this (like picker), but we have a workaround. Resolution To do a filter on a Autocomplete control: Update the Initialize rule ? Populate {ControlName} List Control with data ? : in this screen, you will have the Filter tab. 

 Symptoms Encounter error when running the 4.7 Update Manager. Installer log shows the following error:"Script execute failed: System.Exception: Script execution exception: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Common.ExecutionFailureException: An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. ---andgt System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid column name 'DisplayName'." Diagnoses 1. Installer logs reveal that the Update Manager seems to be referencing some databases from the old K2 database schema. K2 databases have already been consolidated, so there should be no reason why the Update Manager will reference the old database.2. Ran a reconfiguration and repair, but the upgrade process still failed with the same error3. Checked [K2].[HostServer].[Configuration] table, and noticed for VariableToken='[DATABASESTRUCTURE]', the VariableValue is 'Legacy'.4. The same VariableToken is showing a VariableValue of 'Consolidated' on the new K2 database schema5. Obtained the same

 Symptoms Android-K2 mobile - cannot login when user has two account in multiple domains Diagnoses When user has same user account in two domains and login in Android apps (latest one).e.g. domain_Asilvia and domain_BsilviaShe can only login in k2 mobile in android by typingLogin: silviapassword: [pwd]At the back, the passowrd of domain_A is used for enthentication.When inputting domain_Asilvia with domain_A password, authentication failed is returned even.For iOS, this will not happen and accept domain_Asilvia and domain_Bsilvia login and working fine. Resolution Android version K2 Mobile 1.2.6 fixed the issue. 

HelloSorry about the not reasonable title but I will explain in more details here.Basically, I have a Doc. Library where I created a workflow which runs when a form request has been raised.The form status remains Pending until it has been approved.The Workflow process sends out an notification email to the relevant approver with a link leading to the Approval Page.The problem is that, once the user deletes the email notification > there is not a simple way of approving it.My question is how to implement it so the Approver can approve it directly from : (see below)I also tried the Content Approval > Require content approval for submitted items? > YESwhich enables the a Approve/Reject button in the ribbon but it does not work / interact with the actual workflow.I am confused
