For a SharePoint online list I generated automatically the K2 Forms from SharePoint. On this list I have a Lookup field that is pointing to another SharePoint online list with more than 3000 items. On the generated forms for new/edit item, the control for this Lookup field is a multi-select, but it shows only the first 100 items. It is possible to display all the items on the multi-select control? Or there is a better solution to avoid the load of more than 3000 items?

Why does the Nintex Workflow Schedular timer job keep getting removed from my SharePoint SE farm? It seems that after evey install of the monthly SharePoint SE CU, the Nintex Workflow Schedular timer job is no longer in the list of farm timer jobs. I have to run the command “NWAdmin.exe -o InstallTimerJob -job ScheduledWorkflows -url https://someurl.com” for each web app for it to appear in the timer job list. Why am I having to add it back to the environment every month or every so often? When is this job initially created by Nintex? Why does it keep dissappearing?

I have a form that generates a QR Code in a PrintArea Panel that I am able to Print to PDF using the OOB functionality. Is there a way to have a Print Button that prints the PrintArea Panel and gives you the option to choose a printer?

I have a responsive form from which I am generating a PDF from a template. That’s working fine but because the PDF that is generated is both internal and customer facing, I’d like to be able to display a multi-choice checkbox lookup field as those checkboxes (along with the options selected) instead of returning the submitted information in a string. Is this possible? Or if I’m overthinking and there’s a better way to do this, I’m all ears. I did find the same question here but the images aren’t available & I’m struggling to wrap my head around it. As a part 2 to this question, I’m finding that anytime I make a change to the template, I’m having to retag every single field and not just the one that changed. Is this expected behavior?

I have a repeating section in start form. In a Task Form, I want to display the row of data from the start form repeating section. And add an editable field for each row to get a status for each row. How can I do that? I understand that I can do a loop for each and get item from collection, but how can I have the data in my task form?

Hi, I’m using Nintex Automation Workflow cloud and noticed that my admin account is applied to the “modified by” column. I am assuming every time the workflow runs through an action like “update item” it applies my admin acct name. Am I understanding this correctly? I was asked why I was modifying the item in sharepoint and I’m not, my thought to this was that every time the workflow ran through an action that, that happened. Can someone explain?

I’ve seen with a recent update the I can Copy the data from a Repeating Section down from the start form and into a task, and the data is editable. This is great for our workflows, but I’ve run into an issue in getting the data to copy between two tasks. We have two tasks(A and B) after the Start Form in a Branch by Stage action. The Initial/Default Branch flows to task A, that has two options Complete or Send to the Other Brach that has Task B when they click submit. Task B on the Other Branch, has the exact same options so information can flow between A and B until A is satisfied and they choose to Exit and end the workflow. The issue with the Repeating Section that I'm having is that the data in that only seems to flow one way. Task A can receive the data from the Start form and Task B can receive it from A, but if B sends back to A, A still uses the Start Form’s data. I have a start d/t and an end d/t fields on my NWC form. I would like to show a message to the user if their end date is = or < the start time. “is not” , “not equal”, or “equal” conditions are not available when comparing d/t fields in this version for forms. That seems odd to me Nintex wouldn’t make those options available. The only way I can think of is to convert the d/t fields to strings in a variable. There are many more conditions available when comparing text strings. My VAR’s are setup the same Just so I can see if the VAR’s are correctly populated, I’m displaying the values in the fields immediately below the d/t fields, for demo. But it’s not converting the strings in the same format. If they are not in the same format, I can’t compare them in rules. Hello, I have just noticed that the ‘document list report is not showing all documents’ currently sitting in our Process Manager. I have run the report INCLUDING ‘...associated Process Groups, Search Tags, and System Tags’ and ‘...links in unpublished changes. I have also run the report NOT including those parameters and the result is the same. A few documents are missing in the report. I’m wondering whether you have experienced a similar issue? I would like to use an Excel file containing a list of products in a data lookup control to select the part. I know how to do it from an Microsoft List. To avoid having to manually convert my Excel file into a Microsoft list, can I do it directly from an Excel file that is in my SharePoint online? or Can I automate the upload of the content of the Excel file into a microsoft list or into a table?

Hello, I am using Nintex Automation, and I noticed that there is no export button available for exporting a workflow. Is this feature unavailable in my version or platform, or is there an alternative way to export workflows? If not, how can I save my workflow locally? Thanks

I’m migrating workflows to the Automation Cloud, and no matter if I build the table in HTML or the WYSIWIG editor, Nintex constantly messes with the formatting. It will move whole rows to the top of the table. The screen shot below is how the table in the email should look. But if I have to go back into the workflow to make an edit for any reason - not even to the Send Email action this happens: The divider rows get converted to header rows - even if I toggle that setting off or call it out as <td> instead of <th> - and then get moved to the top. This defeats their purpose, which is to break up and organize the data. It makes quick edits painstaking. I don’t need a “smart” editor that actually gets it wrong every time it tries to override my actions. If someone from Nintex could PLEASE tell me how to get around this or give us the option to shut it off, I’d be most appreciative. I build for 10+ teams and own waaay too many workflows for troubleshooting to be this time-consuming. We mov

Does anyone know what the autocomplete option in the escalation section of a task form does? Does it autocomplete the task to move the workflow forward, if the assigned person doesnt complete it?

For SP/Nintex 2016 on prem, in a form, what is the rule formula to ensure attachments are added IF a certain field (which is named and inside a panel) is not null. In other words, If the user enters data into a field (single line of text), Attachments are required. Otherwise Attachments are not required. I have a workflow that starts with a Nintex Form. The form allows for the uploading/attaching of supporting documents. I am successfully writing the form data into a list library in SharePoint Online, but cannot seem to copy the attachments to a document library. I get this error: Received an error response from the connector: BadRequest: [SP.GNR.ListItemsNotFound] Unable to find matching list items for the list 'ProclamationRequestAttachments'. (Correlation Id: 1b7d84c4-4519-4253-b9df-c8ae9389380f) The document library does exist, permissions are correct also. I don’t think it is a SPO issue, but maybe I’m not capturing the attachments correctly. Below is the workflow: The run if true was just to keep that part of the workflow from executing if there were no document attachments on the form. I’m experiencing an issue similar to previous users who have attempted to access Nintex University. After logging in and then clicking onto a Nintex University link, the tab gets stuck on ‘Working’. By the looks of it, previous issues were fixed through a private message from Nintex, so I’m reaching out for further help on this matter.

We are trying to replicate the N365 process of writing task info to a “task list”. It’s nice that NAC stores tasks, but we have audited processes and need our task data stored locally on our site (like the previous versions of Nintex did it). in a SharePoint list, or task list. We are using the “Get task” action, but are facing some issues trying to grab the relevant task form URL because it is way more than 255 characters.

I have a repeating section on my form that hosts 2 controls: a choice type and a multi line text The user is able to appropriately enter data into the repeating section, however, when the next user comes into the form, there is no data saved into the repeating section. In Nintex Responsive, I have a repeating section set up the same exact way. All connected to a Multi-line column in my SharePoint list. It just does not save correctly with New Responsive? What am I missing?

I thought this would be a simple thing, but apparently it’s not. I have a Scheduled start workflow that is supposed to run daily to read a SharePoint list and find any items that contain a date six weeks (42 days) in the future. The workflow ran today and reported no results even though I know there is one item in the list that should have been found. The workflow uses an Add time to date function to calculate the future date: using the built-in Current date from the instance, it adds 42 days and provides a variable as a result (date format, not ISO 8601 text string). Then the workflow queries the list, using the conditions that the specific date column has value and matches the date variable. When I run this, it finds no results even though, as I said, there is one item in the list that meets the conditions. I have a feeling this has something to do with the format of the Nintex date (which is in YYYY-MM-DD format and includes the time) and the SharePoint date, which is M/D/YYYY and d
