I have created a global action on a table. The action calls a snippet which I have defined in the Resources tab. When I click on the Action button, nothing seems to happen. I have also added an alert() code in the snippet to check if the snippet gets called at all. But nothing happens. Any suggestions to solve this problem? Thanks in advance

I would like to know if it is possible to convert an external database Record into a SF Account record. My plan is to establish an external Odata connection to my SQL database (hosted on AZURE)…I would then like to crete an Action that will grab data from the external database and create a new SF Account (populating the SF Account with data from my external database)…Is this possible?

Are we allowed to create a skuid page on the Pages object?

I have a scenario where i need to show opportunity records of certain stage values on a table, In the table Filter currently i am showing all stage picklist values based on the Recordtype. Now if User selects the Stage that is avoided as part of Opportunity model conditions, then i need to Display the records of that stage, even though its not part of records Model conditions.So…Based on Value selected in Table filter(drop Down) , can i de-activate/activate the condition on the Model , So that i can render the table to bring records as per requirement.thanks in advance…

These two fields: <field id="password_check" uionly="true" displaytype="FORMULA" label="Verification" readonly returntype="BOOLEAN" defaultvalue="false"> <formula>{{{password}}}=={{{PIN__c}}}</formula> {{{email}}}=={{{Support_Email__c}}} which reference these field pairs: The password_check field works prefectly, but the email_check field never makes it into the model (no matter what I try)! Why would that be happening?

We upgraded our prod instance to Banzai yesterday.  Since then we had an old piece of logic break (I’ve fixed it, so no emergency.)We have an integration with Big Machines (Oracle) CPQ.  Quote records are related back to the Opportunity using a reference lookup field.When a quote is cloned, it uses a url re-direct and passes over the original quote ID and the parent Opp ID.Our url looks like this:/apex/BigMachines__QuoteEdit?id={{Id}}&oppId={{BigMachines__Opportunity__c}}&clone=true where the BigMachines_Opportunity__c is a ref field back to the parent Opp.  After Banzai, the Opp Name was being passed in the url instead of the ID.  We did have the ID selected in the model.  We’ve been using this url re-direct since January without issue until now.I changed it to:/apex/BigMachines__QuoteEdit?id={{Id}}&oppId={{BigMachines__Opportunity__r.Id}}&clone=true And it is back to working.  I just wanted to bring your attention to this - not sure if this is expected behavior.  We’r

Hi, Scroll bar seems to be automatically applied in Banzai release for tables. though when go to Display setting for scrolling, allow scroll bars is not ticked. Is there anyway to get rid of it? It restrict the user view.

Hi All, I am configuring a tab within a drawer, and I am facing some challenges getting the desired records to load. Setup I am using an OR condition on a Task Model where the conditions are evaluating two Account Ids on the task object (Standard SFDC Account Id and a custom text field where an Account Id may be stamped by a flow). For the two conditions, I assign the Id values in the before load actions (Account Id is set in a context condition). Please find below screenshots of the settings I am using. Result I am able to get it to work when I test the conditions separately, but when I use them together with an OR, it does not work. Any ideas on how to get this to work or what is happening? I have custom rich text area field and when I added to my page it shows only one skinny line. I’m able to add text in the text box and it expands but I’m trying to display it with a 10 rows even if the field has no data. I have set the “Rows to display” property to 10 but it has no impact on how the text box is displayed. 

Our customer community uses a Site.com page that renders a Skuid page in an iFrame.  We’ve been using this for about 4 months (we’re in the process of re-building to Skuid entirely.)  Since upgrading to Banzai this morning, the detail page model is not getting the parameter passed and our customers are seeing incomplete and inaccurate data (our single row model is grabbing some record, but not the one the customer should be seeing.)  This is a huge problem… can someone please take a look?  

Forked from a comment in a post by Barry SchnellOne thing to note here is that the invalid search criteria that you typed is persisted in the search box each time you re-open the lookup popup until you’ve typed something new again in the lookup field.Steps to reproduce:1) Type invalid search criteria2) Click mag glass - note that what you typed in is the search field as expected3) Delete what is in the search box.  The list of accounts is now displayed since there is no search criteria specified4) Click cancel** When you return to the main screen, the invalid text you typed has been removed since it is not a valid account.  This is expected.5) Click mag glass - Note that the search critieria contains the previous value that you typed in step #1 and you deleted in step #3.6) change the search criteria to a different invalid value7) click cancel8) click mag glass - Note that the search criteria you typed in step #1 remainsThanks!

I’ve built a filter on a date field with manual options that looks like this (using the SFDC date filters like LAST_MONTH). I’d like to add another option to the list called “Custom” or some such descriptive name… and allow the user to select or type in a custom date range. Seems like the only thing I can do with a filter is affect a model condition. I was trying to figure out a way to use a condition on a ui-only field to somehow trigger an action. I can add another filter on the table… a standard date range… but filters cannot be conditionally rendered (which would be handy, at least in this case)… Anyone see a way to accomplish this? It would be super-helpful for report building.

Hey Zach … you did a great demo of external data in Banzai at DF15. You connected to Google Calendar and were able to view and update events in a Skuid calendar. Any chance you could share that page you built or provide some info on how to set up the connection?Thanks,Glenn.

So I think this is since the Banzai upgrade in our sandbox, but it may be Winter '16 related since those happened so close to when we discovered this issue.We have our models on a Tab page set to run on page load.  Now that we have Banzai (or Winter '16) there is a significant lag from when you click to another Skuid tab on the same page.  The data should have loaded on initial page load, but the page does not respond at all for around 5 seconds, and then the tab renders.In the dev console, we are seeing a ton of the same two errors repeating:Refused to set unsafe header “User-Agent”Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Server Error)When I click on the User-Agent error, it opens up to say this:https://afl–stage–skuid.cs11.visual.force.com/soap/ajax/30.0/connection.js Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Server Error)send @ connection.js:594We are not seeing this in our Production org, but it has us nervous to upgrade it to Ba

TEXT of 255 size is being spreaded across the columns in a section when the page is viewed in IE9.0 but looks good in Google Chrome. Any workaround for this please ? I tried compatibility mode for IE 9.0 still no luck . . .

It appears that 7.x has changed the case of the condition attribute enclosevalueinquotes from all lower case to camel case (encloseValueInQuotes). This causes an error for code (dynamic model creation) written against 6.x that uses all lowercase. After calling updateData the first time, the model contains an property “enclosevalueinquotes” and “encloseValueInQuotes”. When calling updateData a 2nd time on a model, a remoting exception occurs regarding duplicate field. Hello,I installed Chrome Virtual Keyboard on my windows desktop and found that it does not work on any of the skuid pages, where as it works well on Salesforce pages.We thought this would be great feature to leverage on our business process and it would help our users as well. Is there anyway we can enable virtual keyboard on skuid pages?

I’d like to override the standard View action for an object, but I want to point to different skuid pages depending on the value of a field in the object.What’s the best way to accomplish something like that? Conditional statements in the VF page?

Uploading files around 2,000 kb seems to load a really long time and loading seems to stay at around 80-90% from being fully complete. What could be causing this kind of behavior?

I have created a wizard with 3 pages. Page 1 uses a model of set up object. Page 2 uses the model of transaction object. I implemented a custom delete action button which runs a javascript and uses abandonrow method. The sequence of steps for the problem are, as followsa)  I delete a row in page 1 using this button,b) I click a custom mass action button  on page 1 and the records from set up model are still available in page 2 throughh params.I need to use the params from step 2 to create transaction records, which is creating unwanted records.As a solution, I tried to add additional action(‘Save Model’) after the javascript script runs but it is creating records in set up object.Please help.
