Hi - i have a question re SharePoint integration and wonder if it is possible? I have a list of tasks in SP and want to send a weekly update email with all items belongs to each individual. Is it possible via Cloud? Thank you vm.

Hi,I have a NAC workflow which we use the document generation action to build a document then send it into the Nintex esign with get a signature action.I have a template setup in esign / assuresign with a signer jotblock and a few extra send inputs.These dynamic jotblocks are added into the document that goes through the generate document action then into get a signature action, This is all working correctly. In assuresign in the email notification settings, I have cloned the emails into a new email design set and I’m customising the ‘Document available to sign’ email template that goes to the signer.In this email body is the [custom message] global merge field.I want to dynamically input this message based on the category of document in my workflow.Essentially how can I get the [custom message] merge field to appear as a parameter / property in the ‘Get A Signature’ action for my envelope template? 

Dear Folks,We have an Automation cloud workflow which has stages. Towards end of each stage, we are correctly changing to Exit or whichever relevant. However after the workflow is complete we get the below error. The specified Set next stage must not be the same as the current stage. [Error Code: StateMachine.InvalidTransition] We are sure the initial stage is different from current stage but still it happens. Anyone faced this issue? ThanksAravind

Hello,I’ve created a workflow in NWC where the start event is new or updated item, then there are 3 parallel paths/branches where if a username is input into a “reviewer” type field, then it assigns a task (and sends email) to the person listed. The three fields on the form that trigger the paths of the workflow are:If ‘Liaison Reviewer’ is filled, then send an email to ‘Liaison Reviewer’ email address If ‘Additional Liaison Reviewer’ is filled, then send an email to ‘Additional Liaison Reviewer’ email address If ‘M&M Reviewer’ is filled, then send an email to ‘M&M Reviewer’ email addressThe issue I’m having is that if the person filling out the form initially puts someone in the Liaison Reviewer field, then an email gets sent to that person for their task form. Hi,  Is there a way to use a custom date format in NWC (Im looking for an action that can do this). My date time format should be something like this: MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS so it will display something like this: 02/04/2023 13:25:53 I tried using the NWC Tools Format DateTime Action, but it just gives an error saying “The specified DateTime value has an unsupported DateTime pattern. [Error Code: TypeCasting.UnsupportedDateTimePattern]”. I also used convert a date to string, but there's no option for a custom format. Any suggestions?

How do you get a signature to display in Nintex Mobile? Its most baffling that Nintex is unable to accomplish something this simple. How to display a Signature inside a Task Assign Form using Nintex Mobile? Signature is from O365 Form (Start Event - SPO New Item)Workflow is NAC/NWC Task Assign Form When Task Assign is opened using Desktop, Signature is displayed, URL is from sharepoint.comWhen using Nintex Mobile - Image is blank  Tried also using Google Drive When using Nintex Mobile - 

In Nintex for SharePoint On-Prem you can see the name of the workflow and its list, this doesn’t seems to be enabled by default in NWC/NAC while edits are made to a workflow in the Workflow Designer.How/where we can see/know/enable the workflow name in the Designer?I haven’t fund a way to know the name of the workflow other than the “Save as” menu option.Is there an ‘efficient’ way to do this? I'm close to go-live with a workflow including the collection of personal data.How can I delete instance data after a time period for GDPR compliance? In the API (V1/V2) there is no delete option and I cannot configure this at workflow level.And are there any access logs or activity logs available? Or do I have to deduce this from the instance and task data through the API?Many TIA!

Hi I am trying to retrieve a respondent name/email from the flow but it seems not working if the task is assigned to a user outside of the tenant. But not quite sure if that is the reason. Thanks.

Hi all,Here is my scenario:  I created a Nintex 365 workflow on a SharePoint online list called:Notify on ChangeThis sends an email on a change of an item.  I created a second identical list with an identical workflow (But of course had to rename the workflow Notify on Change NEW, because you can’t use the same name as an existing workflow).After doing my testing on the second list, I decided I didn’t need the original list anymore so I deleted the list. Now when I go to rename the remaing workflow from Notify on Change NEW to Notify on Change, Nintex tells me the workflow name is still in use?   And I’m still getting emails from the original workflow!  Creepy...I know. Is there a way I can find this Ghost workflow?  Has anyone else seen this behaviour?Thanks!TRoy

Howdy, I’m wondering if anyone has come across this issue before or might know a solution; A handful of our workflows have assigned tasks that are sent to shared mailboxes:  However when the task email is received in the shared mailbox, and a person that has access to that shared mailbox, tries to open the task URL, they receive an access denied error in their web browser: I presume this is because the task is assigned to the shared mailbox email, and not the user email, so access is rejected? We could get around this issue by disabling “Assignee Authentication” on the task itself, however we require assignee authentication as the approver detai

What is the limit of recipients the send an email action can have? I see no documentation about this and we are building a distribution workflow that sends a notification out to a collection of email addresses (authenticated users). This collection will have 700-1,000 employees in it. Will this fail? What is the limit of characters a workflow "Single line of text" variable can hold for the various Nintex platform - O365, NAC/NWC ? Here is what I manage to search from the forums For Nintex for SharePoint - @butlerj stated a limit of 255 characters For NWC, @SimonMuntz stated exceeds 255 character - unless Input validation option is used to limit the Length to 255

How do you read a single record from a SQL table based on its primary key and store it in an object variable in a workflow. I can get a collection of 1, but cannot extract the record into an object of the same type as the table.It only allows me to extract it to a workflow variable. I would like the same functionality as for SharePoint: ie ‘Retrieve an item’ 

We are currently beginning our journey to migrate from SharePoint 2013 on-prem to Teams/SharePoint Online.  We have many custom forms that were developed in .net which we will be converting to Nintex Workflow Cloud as we are being advised as Microsoft may deprecate the workflow engine in SharePoint online.  Our users are used to clicking the New button on the SharePoint list to create new entries.  How can we replicated that experience if we are creating the form and workflow in NWC?    

Is it possible to assign a task to multiple users utilizing a distribution email group? I got it to work with disabling assignee authentication, however the workflow needs to return who completed the task to utilize the Get user Details action for Active Directory. If I disable the assignee authentication then i get an errors on the user details action.  If I enable it the task fails to initiate.   

I’m trying to update a SharePoint Online List items permission but our SharePoint Online Connection is not auto loading as in the example found on YouTube : According to above tutorial it should autoload?My view: When I try to add a new SP Online connection it tells me I do not have permission? I have a Global Administrator role. Does anyone know what I need to do to get around this?

What is the difference between the various (SharePoint Online) Update type? In the O365, Set Workflow Status (which is not available in NAC). When using the NAC/NWC Upgrades converts to SPO - Update Items → [Items at root level but ignore folders] The O365 Update List Items when converted to NAC/NWC becomes SPO - Update Items → [Items and folders at all levels]

This seems to be a bug that was introduced several months ago. If I open a workflow to look at, but don't make any changes, a dialog pops up asking me if I want to discard changes. This is misleading, since there were no changes. Dialog title: Discard ChangesDialog text: Unsaved changes to the current workflow will be lost. Continue? Is there any way to stop this from occurring? This is causing a lot of confusion for our users. There a now many workflows in our tenant that have drafts saved after the publish date. Is there any way to see if there is a difference between what was published and what is saved at a later time?
