Nintex Automation K2

I am using K2-provided Denallix environment and made some basic applications using it. The problem is that I am unable to send task notifications and emails. First I thought it was because my K2 certificates are expired but now I have renewed them using K2 certificate manager (self-signed certificates) but unfortunately the problem remains the same. The other thing I have noticed is that when Microsoft exchange services are turned on than my K2 server stops working so I have turned them off.I have also attached some error logs that I have been getting from K2management site.I'll be really thankful if someone could help me figure this out.

Hi All, I am facing OData issue, when I browse my OData API, i am getting below error "404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable." I have tried refresh, but thats also giving the same error. Thanks,Pradeep

K2 was not processing smart actions and found that there is an issue with connecting to EWS and updated the EWS by K2 Setup manager. I had chosen configure option and let the K2 configure and clicked on Finish button. I see that smart actions are working fine now, but all the permissions for workspace are lost and i am getting different issues now. Can you please help, how do i restore the settings Thanks,Pradeep

Hello All,I have been searching for days to no avail; any help would be greatly appreciated. I am working on a form that uses the multi select control. I am using a smart object to populate the multi select list with values (Let us just say the values are text options for example: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun). If the user selects Mon, Tues and Wed from the Multi Select list, I want to be able to display in another list view (as separate rows) the user selected options of Mon, Tues and Wed. How can I achieve this? How do I access the Multi select value to display to the user? From the documentation, I understand the multi select value is stored in the database with a default semicolon delimiter, but how do I retrieve the value from the database and display it?  

In this K2 Cloud environment, User A is out of office, and has a rule configured to forward her tasks to her manager, User B, who is in the office.  When User B attempts to redirect the task to someone else, an error occurs that states "Work list item is invalid or no longer present." User A and User B are the only users with OOF rules configured. Why can't User B successfully redirect this task?  Thank you so much!

Hi All, I am running in K2 5.2 and it is integrated with SharePoint onpremises. I have Dev, UAT and Prod instances and code base of each instance is different due to on going development and other activities.  Now there is a plan to change SharePoint OnPremise to SharePoint Online. To change the reference in each environment, what would be the better way? As a POC, I tried creating two library in two site collection. Initially integrated one site with K2 form and took a package of it. While deploying, I configured it with second site collection. For me it did not work as the document still got stored in initial document library even after deployment.  Regards,Madhu

Is it possible to retreive the workflow schema using k2 workflow client API in C#? In K2 Swagger API that method is available, but i've searched the developer reference for Workflow Client API and found nothing of what i seek.if there's any way please tell me how. thanks

Hi,I am not able to generate document using the word document generator service broker. No logs are recorded in HostServerBin path.  I was able to generate the document in K2 5.2 version after updagrading to 5.3 the broker is not working.  I have followed below steps to generate the SMOStopped the K2 server serviceCopied the dll into serviceBroker folderrestarted the K2 server service registered service instance nad service typeGenerated SMO Should the service account have any specific permission to execute this broker? Thank You 

Hello Community, I was wondering if someone knows which SmartOjbects are used when you go into Management and Look at (All) Error Logs?  I know there is HostServer.Error and ErrorProfile, however when viewing those tables you don't see the same column names that appear in the Management Profile view. Thanks,David

I'm using K2 Five 5.3 and would like to know if there are smartobject to read excel file (attachment of a list item) and use it content. I searched and saw Function Browser supports Excel functions but they are no longer supported in current version. Everytime I will deploy my package to live server, I am always getting the error. I didn't modify the SMO, I just updated the form (cosmetic) . Every time you create a package the SMO is always included. nconsistent smartobject. mapped service object property does not exist. smartobject: [sms_readsmslist_smo]. service : [smsk2]. service object : [dbo-readsms_sp]. version : []. property : [smsselected] My Solution:- Go to the server and edit the existing SMO by removing the existing schema then drag the tables on it and save.  It worked. But, why do I need to the manual procedure wherein there is no changes in table struction nor the SMO> for your guiance. 

My app is accessed via ADFS single-sign-on. I have Javascript running on my main menu which previously (K2 4.7) accessed the worklist.sdk to get the current users tasks. Under K2 5.2 we have to move to the Worklist REST API. K2 provide a link to using this (Using the Workflow REST API in JavaScript)  however the example uses hard-coded username and password.  Does anyone know how to pass in the current user's username and password dynamically, i.e. not hard coded in the JS,and not requiring the user to provide the password again? If this can't be done it means current user can no longer access their tasks dynamically without additional sign-in. Thanks in advance Kevin

we have quite a few legacy workflows that were developed in K2 Studio prior to K2 Five upgrade. If tehre are any changes to be made for these legacy workflows, these works need to be opened in K2 studio; but K2 Five upgrade the K2 studio will be uninstalled (when you install client tools on your laptop for new P&D). Is there a way , we can still install K2 Studio while running latest P & D on your laptop but also have K2 studio installed? Appreciate your help!! 

Environment: Sharepoint Online + K2 Five 5.3 Hi, after upgrade from 4.7 to 5.3, there is problem with opening K2 via Sharepoint list. Every user see thist error message: " The remote name could not be resolved: 'login.microsoftonline.com' "When user use direct link to K2, it works. And after it, normal way via sharepoint works too. K2 reaction: As to why accessing the Runtime site before accessing a SharePoint Form resolves the issue momentarily is because a Token is created for the user and stored in browser cookies. It remains valid and also give the user access to K2 Form in SharePoint. As the issue was not occurring on the previous environment, I must assume that this is caused by something environmental. Have someone some tips or solution? in this case, it is about 3000 users and it is critical error for client... Thx, Jan

Hi Mates,I am facing issue with Editable list view. I had some calculative field so on each textbox control i caculate that value and if the value is 0 then i am displaying message.Now problem is that i am using Editable list view so when user double click or List item event changed i found all all controles text changed event get call due to that eveytime i get message box which should not be the casehow to handle this. Thanks in advance

I have a Group called 'Operations'.   This group can starts a workflow which requires  'Approval' or 'Rejection.  Only people from Operations can start a request/approve/reject a request.        How can I make it so that the originator cannot approve their own request?

Hi All, We have a few instaces that have been running for a long time, From K2 management,  clicking and selecting stop results in perpetual 'thinking about it" icon but the instaces stay running. Can someone please advise on how to manually stop these or link to a process?  Thanks

Hi I’d like to know what would be the impact if a user’s login name is changed.Are there any known issues the user would experience in K2 after a login name change?  Would the user still see be able to see his tasks?What are the steps to be taken into consideration before and after a login name change?

HI All, Can we update or make the text format as 'arial, 11pt' for email body as default for all emails by updating css in themes ?For ex:In a view, i have added a button and in button click rule - added an action "send e-mail". In the body section of the email, i want to update/format the text font size and style to arial 11pt. I dont see any option available on that screen.So, trying to understand if we can achieve this by updating the css in themes ? Thanks

Hi all, I am new with K2 Five. I was able to successfully install K2 v5.3 on my single server. And I was very happy with site URL that I got at the end of the setup installation. As all components were working(workspace, management, ...)After I installed Active Directory on my server. My URL isn't working at all as shown in attachment. Looking forward for help! Thanks,Waleed

What is the best way to move all of the current tasks in the system to the new Azure AD (AAD) user account when we convert our authentication over from windows authentication?   Thanks.
