Hi, No matter what i do, the Radio button remains CENTRED in the column, how do i get it to align left? I have tried CELL formatting and chosen Left align - doesn't workI have created a Table, but the Radio button in there, left aligned within Table - doesn't work The Radio button Properties - alignment options are not selectable. Any ideas?

Hello, I have seen several questions on how to add multiple attachments to a form. I have also see several different answers. I decided to make a post to show a clean way to add multiple attachments to a form. Hi, We are creating a custom service object using Visual Studio, we have successfully deployed a new service object with one method of type list. It has some 60 columns in return parameters. When we execute the smart object in service tester, it gives us index out of range exception if number of columns returned are more than 8. Please help! Thanks,Talha 

I couldn't able user to a sharepoint group using Add user to Group wizard in k2 designer.  I used following steps to achieve mentioned task. I created list in SharePoint with People Picker field.  I customized the form using smartforms and created workflow.  In the form i'll select the group name and enter the user to be added to the group. In the workflow,  i created group reference using create group reference wizard and here i'm filtering sharepoint group using Item Reference among all groups. In the same way, I used create user reference wizard to filter the user using Item Reference.  Then I used Add User To group Wizard where i mapped the group reference and user reference.  But User is not added to the sharepoint group.  Whereas i am able to add user directly by selecting group and user. but bot able to add user if am using References. Need suggestions on adding user to sharepoint group.   Can anybody help me out in this regard? Any help would be appreciated

Hello, My organisation regularly refreshes our SharePoint test enviornment from production. This is done by taking the content databases from production and restoring from them in test. This generally has no adverse impact, but we have noticed that various K2 workflows in our test environment (which point to our K2 test server) have broken, and we suspect that it has to do with the fact that we have refreshed from production (where we also have K2 workflows, but pointing to our production K2 server) and there may be a conflict with references to production GUIDs and other artefacts. So, hoping that I can get some guidance on what is the best practice for when we conduct our refreshes in sharepoint. Is there a process we should be following that involves re-mapping workflows to the test K2 server after refreshing from production? Has anyone experienced nothing but frustration when migrating from v4.6.11 to v4.7....? I've spent the past few months just troubleshooting 100% off my time, no had any chance to do any form creation because if of the sheer about of bugs in v4.7 Every single one of my forms migrated using the Package & Deployment tool have failed due to missing references or form parameters missing when deployed, yet all of these packaged up fine from v4.6.11 The situation is that bad i'm even thinking of creating all my forms again from scratch (trust me that is months and months of work). Why are we having to troubleshoot and do the testing for K2? Hello K2 Community - We are migrating from Nintex Workflow and Forms 2010 to K2 4.7. One of the more significant challenges we are facing as we plan for this upcoming migration is unlearning Nintex. Hello Folks, I am using Drag and Drop Control  and it works fine except in below scenario.  When the filename contains # in between, K2 is showing Fatal Exception and as a result Windows Reporting Service is getting stopped . If i try more times, the server itself crashes and i need to reset the IIS to bring it back. Meanwhile, I am able to uploadd all other files which don't have # in it.  I see that the file name is getting picked up correctly where as the file path is getting truncated as explained below. Consider the fully qualified file path is "C:DesktopABC#CDE.docx", then i see that  filepath: "C:DesktopABC"filename: ABC#CDE.docx I tried overwriting path value by doing a substring and attaching the filename so that it gets fully qualified path and it worked!! but when i tried to remove(unbind) the file from the control, error is displayed  as  Exception on 20*personal details removed*T12:55:48.4841801ZAddtional: FileUtility.PurgeIsolatedStore: = <fake path>ABC.tempExceptio

Hi ,I am a SharePoint developer with K2 used for UI design. I need to upload images on rich text control.  In SharePoint, it's possible to upload the images. In k2  i cannot able to upload the images on rich text . Is there any possibility to upload images on Richtext control? Thanks.

I deleted a process from our dev environment. This included all forms, views, and the workflow. I packaged the same process from another environment and deployed it to our dev environment. Everything deployed but the workflow. It shows a workflow deployed with the process but the workflow is empty. The reason I did this in the first place is the original workflow in dev became corrupt. I was getting an error that said the action approve is not found. So the logical thing for me to do was to package and deploy the last known working configuration. Now here we are. The workflow will not deploy. If anyone has any suggestions I am open to them. This is frustrating to say the least. I am wondering if I just found a bug in the K2 Blackpearl tool. Thanks,Bryan Peters

I have a user who would like have his form autocalculate the number of hours worked per week and it must be required that it is 40 hours or more.  How do I calculate the hours worked per week?  Also, is there a way to set a date range?  For example, this user would like to have an option to select date ranges from Monday through Friday.  The way I have it setup now is with a starting date and ending date but he feels people may not select the right dates.  Let me know if this makes sense.  I have attached what my form looks like so far.

Greetings All, I have added a picture control as a new column to a List View along with other columns, other columns are getting displayed properly, but the picture column is Blank, the visible property is true for the picture control. Design time i can see the picture and when i run the view , picture is not visible. Hi, I'm trying the Autocomplete control to use as a lookup for users in Active Directory. So i've setup the Autocomplete control to use the AD User Smartobject and lookup on Name. When the form loads, you get the spinner which never stops. There is likely 60K+ objects, so is there any way of speeding this up?

We have begun creating WCF services for various things which we are creating SmartObjects out of using the WCF Endpoint service. Does anyone have any suggestions for best practices or patterns as to how to do exception handling in your WCF service in this scenario? What types of common things do you catch in your WCF service, and what do you allow to remain unhandled and bubble up to the SmartObject? What do you do to ease the handling of exceptions when you use these custom SmartObjects in workflows or SmartForms?

Hello K2 Community - We are having an issue in all of our K2 enviroments when searching for SharePoint Groups in the K2 Designer for SharePoint. SharePoint Groups do not resolve in the K2 Designer for SharePoint. Support has stated it could be related to the volume of SharePoint Groups we have in our environment or the reliance on Silverlight. I would greatly appreciate any guidance you would be willing to provide. What are your thoughts? How would you define these? Thank you in advance for your time. Brian

When trying to build an expression (maximum effective date) on a view, I'm getting an error: "The expression cannot contain a field that is bound to the control.  Use a different field or do not use an expression."  I'm trying to follow the exercise in the Sales Orders tutoral.

When Adding Out of Office Exception rule, Error is triggered saying 28023: "Domainusername" does not have permission to view the process. But i have full right to K2 environment. This doesnt make sense. has some one experienced such issue.

Hi I have problem with K2 Designer. I have installed K2 blackpearl 4.6 (4.12060.1.0) and K2 SmartForms 1.0 (4.12165.1.0) on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 with Sharepoint 2010 Foundation. After whole installation when i try to lunch K2 Designer it's loading for ever. Under tekst is screen of K2 Designer. All I can do is choose what i want to show (on the left panel) so its not totally frozen. But its fresh instalation so it doesn't show anything anyway.Before I had K2 blackpearl and K2 SmartForms installed and K2 designer worked fine but I couldn't integrate it with SharePoint 2010 so I uninstalled it and installed older version.Any advice is welcome.

Hi! We develop a smartform application in K2 blackpearl with Oracle DB connection. In the oracle we created an audit tables where the oracle triggers write some informations, what client AD user is made an update or insert. Few years ago, we wrote a .net application with Oracle, and we use an Oracle Context to strore the AD user, and the triggers are read this information from there. We try this method this project, but the K2 uses same sessions in the Oracle from every clients, so it not works correctly. "A" user running the application in browser. The application call an oracle store procedure with AD user paramer, which is stored it in the oracle context. When the "B" user is running this application an another client machine, he call the store procedure with his AD user name. At this moment he is overwrite the context. I think the problem is the K2 Oracle service instance is use the same session. Is there any configuration parameter to change this or do you have any idea ThxLaszlo
