DocGen for Salesforce

In certain type of documents where a content is populated from a rich text field in salesforce, is it possible to override any formatting from rich text fields and keep formatting constant as defined in word document template ?

Hello everyone, I am new to Nintex Community and have few questions, hoping to get the answer from someone. After a Nintex document generation process initiated from a record(in this case a custom object called ‘Treasury Service’), the landing page goes back to the same record from which the document generation was initiated. Is there any configuration at either DDP or Delivery Options level, to remain on the Drawloop page and not going back to the record, it was initiated from. For generating the document using Apex, how do we pass the DocGen File Template ID along with DDP ID. We were able to figure it out to pass the DDPID but do not find an option to pass DocGen File Template ID Thx.

We are trying to test some changes we did in our Salesforce Stage sandbox to raise our Health Check score, and would like to test DocGen there, but I’m getting the “Authorization required to run” message. We want to test in Stage before updating our Full sandbox, which is used by our users for final testing. How do we authorize our Stage sandbox?

The problem is probably trivial, I want to populate a field on Opportunity object with value “Today”. I used the formula “TODAY()” but does not do anything. Can you please let me know how to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance. P.S “Run at the beginning” checkbox is unchecked.

If condition in word document is working fine but when the condition is not met, empty bullet point is showing up in the generated document.

My team and I are trying to have a DocGen Package run when a record is created/updated and meet certain criteria via Flows. This package is intended to send a receipt to a designated user (pulled from a contact page). When we run tests manually, the package works, but when we try to use automation, the logs read successful, but no email is received. We do not have any errors to show as to why that may be happening. Any ideas on how we can fix this?

We have a requirement where we need to group all similar stages in one ie if there are four stages A,B,C and D . For Stage A if there are four records then all the four columns of Stage “A” should be merged in one , and other fields should be after this. How do we get group total and sub total in Nintex.

How do we merge similar fields in Excel in Nintex docgen As in below screen shot we have merged the “Stage” Column. I understand that merging the documents in the DocGen Queue is limited to 200 at a time. We will be producing 13,500 documents soon (this is our first year on Salesforce). Have any others found a better way of mass-merging a large number of documents other than just clicking/scrolling/clicking/scrolling 68 times (in our case)?? Hoping others have some ideas…!

Hello, I am am bringing in data from salesforce into excel, and there is a specific field I want to bring in that is a picklist. Each customer will have multiple values within this field. Is it possible to turn this into a table in excel as middleware and output it as a table into word? I’ve tried Textsplit and would get a Name? error. Thank you in advance!

Hello, I’m bringing in my data into my Excel as middleware file and would like to add a column with a formula. Ofcourse there is no data in my file before running the report, so the #N/A appears in the column. I would like to create a report using an Ultimate parent, parent and child records. I tried with tables in word, but it has been a formatting nightmare. Looking for guides on the best way to do this! Hello community, Looking to get some answers. When I clicked on the Field Tagger pop out, nothing shows up in my dev org. The visualforce page opens up but with no information. It is just a blank. I am set up as the system admin and I checked that I have access to the loop.fieldTagger visualforce page. The only thing that I haven’t set up is the Authorize Nintex e-Sign part in the Nintex Admin tab. I don’t think this would the field tagger issue. Does anyone know what could be the reason? Hello Community, I am looking for some assistance. I have an org that has the Nintex package installed; their version is 18.2. The Mass DDP function appears to be not working. When I try to run Mass DDP, I receive the confirmation. However, it is not generating the documents and I am not seeing any information in the DocGen Queue. I used the AI assistant in the Nintext website. It recommended to check the logs. However, I am not finding the logs in the DocGen Package page either. Can you give us some instructions on to access these logs or give us some insights on why the Mass DDP function is not working? Any assistance would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi - first time ‘poster’ so please be nice! (and apologies if this has been answered before). We want to give our Salesforce users the ability to print a report when they are in their report window. I can see that we can do things like schedule a report run and email it to an individual but I don’t want to have to set up every report (with criteria) for every account manager. How can we set it up so the report printing can be on demand and on the selected report? Thanks Terry

Each year, the title of one of our events changes (ie 64th, 65th, 66th, etc.). I am trying to put a sum formula into word that takes the Calendar (also fiscal) year and subtracts 1954, (the first year of the event) to give me an output of 65th Annual Event Name. Here is an example of the formula I am using in the word formula tool: =SUM("<<Event_Fiscal_Year>>",-1954). I am not getting any errors, but I am not getting any output either. Hi There, Using Docgen for Salesforce. I have the requirement to have 3 summary tables in my report. It seems the only way to do this is using Excel as middleware. Unfortunately, I was unable to pass my Excel as middleware summary data back into my Word Template. I’ve searched for video/tutorials on how to do this and found nothing….all old salesforce classic examples. Does anyone have a guide on how to do the Excel as middleware then passing it to the word template (for Salesforce Docgen)? Best -s

We have a customer using Drawloop for Salesforce doc gen output and they are restricted to a particular font style on these comms. Unfortunately that font, Public Sans, doesn’t appear to be supported by Nintex - https://help.nintex.com/en-US/docgensf/Templates/SupportedFonts.htm. Is there any option to have a font added to the supported font list?

How do I get an excel document to wrap text when creating docgen package?

Hello, When trying to reference a field in a SOQL query, it now adds slashes (\). What is the correct way to write the where clause? Where Contribution__c = \'<<Contract_Id>>\' I tried removeing the \ but it comes back when saving thanks for your input!

I am using Nintex to create an invoice snapshot. When the button is clicked a document is created that has all the invoice line items. If some of those line items are rejected or ineligible, I need Nintex to not add them to the snapshot. I have tried adding a filter to the relationship for Line Items but it is still returning five lines instead of four. (One was rejected)

I have a grouped table of data and I want to sum up the values above - so I’m using the sum(Above) function. This works great until I have negative values in the merge fields - and it ignores them. Any thoughts of a work around or a different function to use?
