DocGen for Salesforce

I would like to create a report using an Ultimate parent, parent and child records. I tried with tables in word, but it has been a formatting nightmare. Looking for guides on the best way to do this! Can anyone point me to some how-to videos or guides to show me the way? Thank you Seth(the newbie) 🤔

I am new to Docgen for Salesforce and I have a requirement to generate a pdf document and send the same through email attachment by using apex in Docgen for salesforce.Can some please share some sample apex classes/code to achieve it. Regards,Tanwi Biswas

Hello community,Looking to get some answers. When I clicked on the Field Tagger pop out, nothing shows up in my dev org. The visualforce page opens up but with no information. It is just a blank. I am set up as the system admin and I checked that I have access to the loop.fieldTagger visualforce page. The only thing that I haven’t set up is the Authorize Nintex e-Sign part in the Nintex Admin tab. I don’t think this would the field tagger issue. Does anyone know what could be the reason? Hello Community,I am looking for some assistance. I have an org that has the Nintex package installed; their version is 18.2. The Mass DDP function appears to be not working. When I try to run Mass DDP, I receive the confirmation. However, it is not generating the documents and I am not seeing any information in the DocGen Queue.I used the AI assistant in the Nintext website. It recommended to check the logs. However, I am not finding the logs in the DocGen Package page either. Can you give us some instructions on to access these logs or give us some insights on why the Mass DDP function is not working?Any assistance would be highly appreciated. Thanks! 

Hi - first time ‘poster’ so please be nice! (and apologies if this has been answered before). We want to give our Salesforce users the ability to print a report when they are in their report window. I can see that we can do things like schedule a report run and email it to an individual but I don’t want to have to set up every report (with criteria) for every account manager. How can we set it up so the report printing can be on demand and on the selected report? ThanksTerry 

Hi There, Using Docgen for Salesforce. I have the requirement to have 3 summary tables in my report. It seems the only way to do this is using Excel as middleware. Unfortunately, I was unable to pass my Excel as middleware summary data back into my Word Template.  I’ve searched for video/tutorials on how to do this and found nothing….all old salesforce classic examples. Does anyone have a guide on how to do the Excel as middleware then passing it to the word template (for Salesforce Docgen)? Best-s  

We have a customer using Drawloop for Salesforce doc gen output and they are restricted to a particular font style on these comms. Unfortunately that font, Public Sans, doesn’t appear to be supported by Nintex - https://help.nintex.com/en-US/docgensf/Templates/SupportedFonts.htm. Is there any option to have a font added to the supported font list?

How do I get an excel document to wrap text when creating docgen package?

Hello, When trying to reference a field in a SOQL query, it now adds slashes (\). What is the correct way to write the where clause?  Where Contribution__c = \'<<Contract_Id>>\'  I tried removeing the \ but it comes back when savingthanks for your input!

I am using Nintex to create an invoice snapshot. When the button is clicked a document is created that has all the invoice line items. If some of those line items are rejected or ineligible, I need Nintex to not add them to the snapshot. I have tried adding a filter to the relationship for Line Items but it is still returning five lines instead of four. (One was rejected)

I have a grouped table of data and I want to sum up the values above - so I’m using the sum(Above) function.This works great until I have negative values in the merge fields - and it ignores them.Any thoughts of a work around or a different function to use? 

Attempting to edit a field (probably protected). I make the edits, press Update Field, save the Doc and then run though Salesforce. Edits made to the rest of the Word doc are fine. Edits to the Field revert to prior text. Thanks!

After the sandbox refresh I am not able to connect Loop Storage to Amazon S3. I am using the following tutorial. On the step 3, I receive the message that Authorization is successful. But on the step 4 the following message appears:

I have a Vlocity Document Template which needs to fill through a custom class. (Token Mapping Method).When a run the doc generation by OmniScript (client-side), the document tokens are filled with blanks. I don´t know what´s wrong. Anybody can help me? The Flow Builder in Salesforce is a great tool change up your document generation experience. Our DocGen for Salesforce product has two actions that can be used in the Flow Builder: Preview Component Apex ActionThe difference between the two is that Preview Component will generate a document on screen like a manual push. Hi, I am adding a new field through field tagger, nintex is an integration in Salesforce in this case however when I added the field and tested no document generation occurred so I selected the nintex doc admin and disconnected it as it seems the authorization expired, (this happened to other of our customers and worked perfectly) then I looked for the nintex admin user and realized the user is no longer part of the project. No one knows the password so we cannot authenticate either authorize.Is there a way to change the nintex admin for the org? If so how can we achieve this if no one is aware of the password. Thanks,

I am updating multiple fields on Create/Edit Records option.The text field populates without any issues, the Date fields are not, I tried using just a basic TODAY() function, different field mappings, it just not populating: Am I missing anything?Thank  you! 

We have an issue where one of our fields can have multiple different answers based on a prior selection. Example:Field tagger for Deductible 1 Deductible 1 may be $500 for Auto insurance, but Deductible 1 is also used on the same page for Homeowners Insurance ($300) and Theft ($400). Is it possible without creating a bunch of custom fields to pull the correct Deductible based on another selection on that page layout?

We have a DDP that is automatically triggered and the generated PDF sends to our SFTP and includes Files from the parent object.  The issue is protected documents often cause the DDP to fail.  I would like to filter out the protected Files (they all have Locked_ added to the beginning of the File Name).  I am trying to use a Salesforce Object relationship, but the DDP fails when I manually run it.  What can I do differently?

Our company deals with financial lending and related items. We have a requirement to create a DocGen for a specific document where the deal amount which is a currency in Salesforce, but the document MUST show the currency amount as a text value. i.e. $1,000,000.00 needs to show as One Million Dollars. I have not found a way to do this. Perhaps there is some way to accomplish this in Word itself? UPDATE:I FOUND A SOLUTION TO THIS USING WORD MACROS - CAN’T DELETE THIS QUESTION. PLEASE DISREGARD.
